Why you choose to be Pegasus/Unicorn/earth?

However, pegasus is also cool.

 

I still don't get what do Earth ponies have in special.

I picked an earth pony because they do everything via hard work and determination. Earth ponies are also very independent and can grow their own food. They also seem to have the biggest families.

Pegasus. I've always wondered what it's like to soar gracefully above the land. Plus you can look down on everyone and make them think " I wish I were a pegasus!"

I would become a Unicorn. Who needs to be born with wings? I can find a Wings Spell that creates me some wings more durable than gossemer and morning dew. I could become an alicorn by using my unicorn magic. Also Star-Swirl the Bearded's secret masterpiece turns one into an Alicorn (at least it should). I could always steal that from the royal library if I used a Disappear Spell, snuck past the guards and took the book. Plus Magic is AWESOME!

I myself would love to be a pegasus, because they ARE the best race of pony. No doubt. 

 

But as for my OC, he's an earth pony. Faaar too many pegasi and unicorns are around here, and even though I don't RP, I felt the need to do my part in trying to balance the population. There is nothing wrong with an earth pony, either. Their strong, determined. Everyone keeps saying being fit would be an advantage of being a pegasi, but if I remember right in Fall Weather Friends, Applejack gave dashie a run for her money.

Its funny because my favorite type to be would be to be Unicorn and have magical abilities. Just because some of my favorite stories and such revolve around magic. However, my OC on here is a pegasus. I think its because Pegasus wouldn't be my first choice and I wanted to give myself a bit of a challenge when RP'ing so I went with one  I wouldn't normally.

Is being a human an option? Because if not then I am perfectly fine being the humanoid automaton that I am currently. I have no desire to walk on four legs.

 

Although I would like to use magic, and flying is nice. Unicorn would probably be my choice since the limits of magic are pretty much endless.

I'd like to be a pegasus the most they're my favorite pony race. Aside from being the most aesthetically pleasing to me, I also love how they have the ability of flight. I would love to be naturally able to fly. You see Rainbow Dash on her wings all the time, and I don't blame her for flying whenever she can. It probably feels amazing to fly. Magic is definitely appealing as well, but I can't give up an opportunity to be able to soar through the sky, free as a bird.

 Anyway, my OC is an earth pony because he's supposed to be on the bottom rung of everything so that when he manages to come out on top it makes the conflict more meaningful. Not that earth ponies are bottom rung in everything, just most of the things my OC is focused on.

I'm a unicorn because i've always been one to like magic, i mean in most RPG's i play and stuff like that my favorite class and the one i play most is always the spellcaster of some form, or whoever is the magic user, its just what I find most interesting. Plus magic is just freaking cool.

 

So naturally Unicorns appealed to me.

 

Plus, they don't have to carry things with their mouths, or even use their hooves for alot of things. I mean think of some of the things earth ponies, and maybe even pegasi have to put in their mouths...

 

But yeah, i just love magic, sure being able to fly would be cool, but eh to be fair i'm scared of heights anyways .

 

Earth ponies are kinda farmers and based on agriculture, but other then that don't appeal to me, and farming doesn't appeal to me a ton anyways.

Earth pony because I identify with Applejack. Earth ponies generally seem more grounded and such which suits me. I'm scared of heights and I just don't consider myself particularly magical. Though if sea ponies were around that would have been an alternate because I love the water.

I admit that I was very abrupt and kinda rushed things when I made Motion Spark, I was debating myself if he should be an earth pony or an unicorn, and that debate only took 1 minute deciding that he should be an unicorn because it's cooler, now I kinda feel like I made a mistake because he doesn't need magic at all, it's not part of who he is.

He sucks at magic and the most he can do is levitate things here and there, but he can float heavy stuff. As a unicorn he sucks, but he's a fantastic artist. (besides drawing his mane without the horn would have been so much easier)

Earth Ponies.

 

Earth Ponies are certainly the least appreciated by the fandom for having no outspoken powers, but they are in general stronger, can carry more, and are the working ponies. They are also in general the most hard-working and they are great in the agricultural sense. Without Earth Ponies, did you know all of the other races would starve? They can alter the soil to make plants grow, something that pegasi and unicorns cannot. Without the Earth Ponies, there would be food, and such, the pegasi and unicorns would starve. I think flying would be a bit too much for me, and unicorn's fancy magic is a little too...high-class.

I just threw in the part about Doctor Who for fun. If I ever set out to create an OC, I would be a Unicorn with high hopes of following in Twilight Sparkle's hoof prints to become a princess.

I would probably be a Unicorn. I would love to be able to do magic and stuff. Heights and Speed are 2 things I am afraid of most, so that's why being a Pegasus would probably not suit me very well.

I picked Unicorn for my ponysona because magic is awesome. :B Also, my "special talent" is writing, so magic would make that so much easier. Actually, magic would just make my life as a pony easier. Percussion instruments would be so hard to play with just hooves. =P

It depends. When I write stories that aren't dealing with ponies and are my own, I still use ponies to draw them up because I like figuring out the human equivalent. I have many Earth Pony OC's, one being named Elixir because the character I have in my story is dubbed Alexa and she does medicines like that. I think that Earth Ponies have the ability to do what the unicorns do, but on a much larger scale when it deals with the land or their talents.

 

For me personally:

Either Earth Pony or Unicorn.

 

Earth Pony because your hooves are on the ground and you can try things that the other races can't do and try harder level tasks that a unicorn or pegasus does naturally.

 

Unicorn also because I like drawing..and as you know..its hard to draw with mouths and sort. I also think Unicorns are easiest when it comes to doing things. (Having kids...? USE MOUTHS FOR DIAPERS. Unicorns: MAGIC BITCHES)

I chose Earth because my pony is 1) afraid of heights and 2) is a Journalist who continuously runs around town searching for her next story with her notebook and quil in her saddle bag. Yes, it sounds more suitable for her to be a unicorn so she can write with magic, but for her she was told she couldn't be a journalist cause she had no horn, she is determend to beat the odds.

1. Never have to hold anything with my mouth (some things I can't imagine why they would) 

2. Teleportation. Why fly when you can be there instantly?

Obviously, being a superior race like Alicorn, I would be hailed as a princess and be able to not only fly, but perform great feats of magic and strength. Bow before me, mortals! XD

 

Just kidding. My actual ponysona's race is Unicorn, and it's because I fancy myself rather artistic and obsessed with literature. I also have moments of snootiness, pettiness, temper and charm, which we've seen most Unicorns exhibit. So yeah, Unicorn for me! Poor Earth Ponies, they always get the shaft.

Well if I have to choose, I choose hoofs down a Unicorn. Why well like ever one said Magic I love the concept of having Magic I know if I was a Unicorn I will learn all kinds of Magic.   

 

That why My OC is a Unicorn I not saying the other races are not all some but for me they are ok for me.
