@,   That's what people like to call My Little Pony's home planet. So that people won't be confused about what Earth other people are talking about.

There actually is a place on Earth called Equestria somewhere in South Africa. I don't think any colorful, talking ponies live there.

I disagree with you there is a portal leading a earth  so maybe  equestria is a alternate version of earth
