In terms of stereotypical stuff, the colours pink and purple. There are a couple of anime that I like that also falls under that category. In terms of other shows, not really. I watched Ever After High once with some friends and we spent the whole call poking fun at it, but as a show I thought it was okay. :)

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Various, but some main favorites:

1. W.I.T.C.H. (Animated Series)

2. Occasional Christmas romcoms

3. Regular Manga Dub romcoms on YT

4. Polly Pocket (2018)

5. Strawberry Shortcake, both previous versions and Berry in the Big City (Even have a few Mid-2010s comics from IDW)*

6. Several Shojo/Romance manga

7./8. Well:

Never did read the original BSC books, but saw the short-lived live action series from the 90s and the slightly longer Netflix series.

Heck, I think the oddest thing about gender stereotyping or trying to live by them is that we're (boys/men) not suppose to show fear, except that such a thing is demonstrated when caving into expectations.

*Also decorated my first MLP comic book longbox with some snack boxes relating to an SBSC advertisement.

Besides My Little Pony, the only girly thing I kind of like is one of the Disney Princesses (Aurora specifically).

In that regard, I'd recommend Sofia the First and Elena of Avalor.

Also there is a five volume manga Disney Princess Kilala including a sixth more recent book (With Mulan).  Alternatively, the manga is getting republished.

I swear I wrote a comment on this thread before. Or at least one similar to it. Anyway...

I like painting my nails, I like some stereotypically "girly" or "bubbly" music, I always liked more girl focused shows when growing up alongside the more general or boy focused ones. I also don't mind wearing more feminine clothes.

Now, when I think about it, I like a lot of media content (cartoons and comics) like W.I.T.C.H, Totally Spies, Phoebe and Her Unicorn et cetera et cetera.

I guess because I enjoy well developed female characters and cute things ^з^

I don't think the 4th generation is specifically "girly", but the My Little Pony franchise as a whole has many "feminine elements", I do believe however since I like My Little Pony Tales I enjoy some "girly aspects" of My Little Pony. There is a lot of "identity specifications" being made in My Little Pony, they are trying to get you to understand in a "gender neutral atmosphere" how these characters you may mistakenly believe to be "girly" actually interact with other misinterpreted social archetypes. It humanizes and glorifies them in a light beyond their visually beautiful and abstract portrayals and gives them a representation that you can compare to many famous world leaders, athletes, inventors or even other characters you've known in art and literature. My Little Pony has moments to it that have moral grey areas and can actually be very opinionated(see "our" fandom.) This show has a lot of personality, only some of it is specifically "girly".:devious:

Other girly things I like include:

The color lilac because it reminds me of Twilight Sparkle.

The colors purple and pink because they remind me of Pipp Petals and Rarity's manes/Pipp's coat and Rapunzel's dress.

Disney Princesses my favorites are Rapunzel, Elsa, Nana if she counts, Belle and Jasmine

as well as other female Disney characters including Della Duck from DuckTales, Molly McGee from The Ghost and Molly McGee,

Judy Hoops from Zootopia, Jessie from "Toy Story" and EVE from "WALL-E".

Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch: My two all-time favorite WWE wrestlers.

Oh! I read "Phoebe and her Unicorn" comics sometimes, too! Thank You for reminding me @Antiyonder!🦄😊

I've been told that I have some feminine characteristics because of my slight punctiliousness and enjoyment of tea, but I'm not sure what I think of that.

I'm sure they just found my masculinity threatening.

Purple is a great color, but not one I would consider 'girly': instead, I associate it with majesty and imperium. It made a bit of a comeback as a tie color for world leaders because of its combination of the sagacity and calmness of blue with the intensity and power of red.

I like cute things such as horse plushies or stickers but I also think that the concept of so called "girly things" is pretty artificial. Same as pink / blue thing. We just like what we like.

I know it can sound weird, but I honestly I don't exactly like "girly" stuff, not even in MLP, what makes me enjoy MLP are the adventure aspects of the series, the fantastic world, the interesting and mystical elements, the absurd situations, and of course, the characters aren't just cute, many of them are really cool (not counting Rainbow Dash), there are aspects in the show that can really entertain and catch the interest of men/boys, for me this is the best part, the pony world is so interesting and has the potential to amuse everyone, when the series actually try to be neutral and amuse all genders and ages, when this is done, "girly" things can actually become interesting and cool for those who don't care about it, like me, the fantastic and crazy aspects of this world allowed them to tell slice of life stories that can be exciting, and not just something that only girls can relate to, and of course, sometimes they make it even better by creating action and fight scenes, menacing villains, etc...

If I had to be more specific, I think the best of the series is those elements and moments that if we moved to a "neutral" or even a "manly" story, or even made all the characters into males, wouldn't feel any different. This + "trying to break its own rules and don't focus solely on little children" is the MLP I like to see, I actually personally would love for the series to just stop focusing on its "girl" approach and "preschool kid" aspects for good and focus on appealing to all genders and ages, just like Hasbro does with it other franchise (Transformers), I totally believe that the franchise would've been more appreciated this way, but I know that's not going to happen, it'll continue focusing on little chidlren and little girls, and that can lead me to dislike some episodes or even entire specific shows because they just don't have the "neutral" approach I like to see (as the romantic episodes or Tell your Tale), for me that is a problem in the franchise and I constantly get annoyed by those aspects, but as long as they continue doing the stuff I like, I'll keep watching it.

also, I personally really don't agree about colors and cute things being "girly", colors are just colors, I really don't see purple, pink as colors for girls, If someone likes these colors it's because they think they look good, as for "Cute things" for me this is not a "girly" thing too, being cute is more of a artistic choice than anything, there are countless stories and productions with cute characters and visuals, but that in general have nothing "girly", the Kirby videogame series is a example, the characters and world are all cute, but the games are pretty much a pink ball who beats up everyone that shows up. Many cartoons and anime with cute visuals also exist for decades, and many of them are very "manly" or "neutral", some are even bloody :awwthanks: MLP has lots of pink and purple and that makes it more lively, and the characters are more than just cute, the ponies are cool, that is awesome :secret:

I know the G4 team tried to make FiM more neutral and even give it some "boyish" approach, but Hasbro just kept forcing girly stuff into the show, and for me that is annoying.

I think Touhou is the best example of how I would like the MLP franchise to be like, a series full of girls but focused on appealing to all ages and genders, barely "girly".

I know all of this can sound just a excuse to see a "oooh yeah this is coooool" show with female ponies, and well, that may be true, I'm a huge Dragon Ball fan after all, so I can't help very much :twi:💦

I guess due to the colors and gender norms, things like MLP are perceived as girly but there's a good reason it has amassed the fan base it has and that's a story/world that appeals to so many. I wish so many things weren't judged so harshly and I know that opinion towards gender norms is more progressive than it has been in the past. They seem to be heading in a positive direction to allow people freedom to just be people regardless of what they like. When I was younger there wasn't a Barbie or baby doll in sight. It just didn't interest me in any way. I was more into traditionally ''masculine". I like pastels. I like dreamy vibes and fantasy. Any kind of animation like MLP? fantasy and powers? Sign me up. But I also love gaming, shounen anime, and horror stories.
