Is My Little Pony Tales The Anti-Friendship Is Magic?

Just watched this video from MLP analyst Bronycurious, well known for his very in-depth look at FiM episodes and the world of MLP itself, but here he takes a look G1 show My little pony tales, and has quite a bit to say about it on how it, despite being from the same franchise, stands in stark contrast to FiM.

 

Check it out and tell me what you think. Are Curious's views too harsh? Are they spot on? Did any of you who watched the show ever think the same things?

I'm not too familiar with MLP Tales, but from what i've seen so far it is nearly impossible to disagree with BronyCurious. He does have a point here.

As someone who's mother loved mlp as a kid! I have watched a few episodes and I cant disagree lol, he is amazing though, cant get enough of his content

I see why he would bash it, mostly because this doesn't help the girly stereotypes of people who watch it.

Overall, he has nice points and a good point of view.

It is definitely different from Friendship is Magic, because of the morals that it teaches. So, the show itself sticks to it's own unique style.

My friend and I decided to try and watch every generation of MLP, the 1st, 2nd (if you actually count it), and 3rd were just awful. 

 

She's not a brony, but when she says, "Finally, a good one." when FiM comes on..you know the old ones were bad.

Nah, it had different morals and different things to talk about, but "Anti-FiM" would not be the correct term, since FiM is nothing unique.

Anti?  I don't know.  Poor messages compared to FIM?  Yes, I can agree with that.  I watched the video long ago (and actually a week or so ago again).
