Rainbow Dash: Light Machine Gun - For having a lot of firepower.

 

Rarity: M27 - A very stylish gun, and it can pick off a lot of enemies.

 

Applejack: Ballista - A good old fashioned sniper, that has a bit of honesty when it comes to it's range.

 

Pinkie Pie: DSR-50 - An explosive sniper with a lot of bullet power.

 

Fluttershy: A silenced sniper.

Applejack: M4 Carbine, traditional and deadly

Applejack: BAR OR Bren LMG. Also old fashioned, but almost always deadly with high firepower.

 

Fluttershy: I won't compare her to a gun, but if I should...M40 OR M21 Sniper System. Dragunov could probably count. Ideal sniper rifles since the Vietnam War.

 

Pinkie Pie: StG 44 OR vz. 58. Great weapons for close to medium-far range combat.

 

Rarity: Won't see her getting her hooves dirty with large weapons, so this one I'll say Luger P08 OR Browning Hi-Power.

Rarity: .338 DTA SRS. Long range. Very clean, tidy, and accurate.

Actually, as a more direct reply: Whatever weapon I pick up off the ground. In some Call of Duty games, I would actually replace reloading with grabbing whatever was at my feet.

Lotus Blossom - simple, but most popular and appreciated Sword.

 

Rest of Mane 6:

Applejack - War Maul - for when you simply sometimes need some brute force.

Rainbow Dash - Broadsword - one of the most fearsome and aggressive weapons of old times.

Fluttershy - Poniard - when you need a bit more subtle approach.

Twilight Sparkle - English Longbow - why even get close to your foes?

Pinkie Pie - Flail - insanely unpredictable and random.

I have a slight feeling that you didn't read the original post. But it's just a hunch.

 

 

Now for me, I'm horrible at comparing things, but I'll try my best.

 

Rarity: This one is easy, I'd compare her to a beautiful, engraved Single Action Army. Elegant, sleek, but can also put some serious power where it's needed.

 

Fluttershy: She's tough, but only when absolutely necessary. When it isn't, she is quiet and out of the way. This is going to sound REALLY REALLY weird, but I will compare her to a missile. Rarely used, always efficient. 

 

Rainbow Dash: Favorite pony. Energetic, high-strung. Obviously something automatic. But you have to think of the loyalty factor, she wont give up on you. So I wont say a M249/M240, and here's the reason why. I was a heavy gunner when I was in the military. Those weapon systems CONSTANTLY jam. I would say Dashie would be more of a AK47. Very rugged, durable and good in all situations.

 

Applejack: Southern, traditional. Honest. Hell of a kick to her as well. She'd be more suited for a cannon than anything else if I should say so. But I don't know anything about cannons.

 

Pinkie Pie: I don't know... Pinkie Pie could be her own gun to be honest =/ 

 

Twilight: This I have to say is a hard decision. Powerful, but reserved. Necessary force. Almost reminds me of the police. Always present, always ready. So I will say Twilight would be a Glock G21/G22. Always present and powerful, but never a fear factor.

Oh this sounds fun! I decided to add my own twist and only use guns I own:

 

Pinkie Pie: Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22. A FUN design with a FUN cartridge means DOUBLE FUN! Mine actually has a pink and black color scheme to it!

 

Applejack: Smith & Wesson 642. C'mon...it's a revolver, need I say more?

 

Rainbow Dash: Mossberg 500. Not only because of the sheer power a good shotgun supplies, but I bought this gun specifically for sport shooting.

 

Rarity: DPMS AR-15. This gun has been upgraded and customized so much that it's tough to even call it a DPMS anymore. Anyway, it is by far the prettiest gun I own and through the building process had allowed me to be quite creative.

 

Twilight: Glock 26. Any Glock for that matter, but I picked the 26 because it's my daily carry gun. I've always found Glocks to be practical, and who is more practical than Twilight Sparkle? No pony, that's who!
