Aww... Thanks!!! I hope I can keep it up!! If I can perfect the technique then I might go into Vector Art, but, there is something about pencil and paper that will never be replaced...

aww sad silver star...pleaese dont cry! Oh wait its a sketch... MEH LOL but its sucha good one! *Claps again* I know how you feel with scanners, its why i prefer to finalize everything through flash programs, clean up the extra lines, add color soforth.

Sorry, picture isn't best quality so some parts are harder to see then others, compared to blissy this is crap but I decided to draw the group!! Please critique :lol: hope you like it!!

Hehe I can tell you used my piece as a reference which makes my happy *blushes* Well some issues to say, some of the ponies heads are too big for their bodies (but if thats your style there is nothing wrong with it then!) and I noticed you put in some perspective intentionally or not, basically that means you made some ponies smaller while others slightly bigger, that gives off a feeling of perspective. Its very interesting hehe!

 

I do plan to redo a more final picture of our group and make it more poster oriented. I am drawing each of our OCs one at a time, to which I will finalize them all up then combine together in a Ponyville background. Grr I just cant do it NOW only draw up our OCs grr.

 

Anyways a very nice pic stormy!

Oh trust me, I can't draw either, my 9 year old sister can draw far better than me! :P I would end up drawing twig ponies with giant affros or something xD

LOL with the exception that Crazy wears a hat you are the only pony that wears clothes Polly hehe!

 

And well not all ponies can draw, I've been drawing since I was old enough to pick up a crayon or pencil. See I LOVED toys as a kid but parents arent made of money, so if I couldnt get a new toy then I would draw a toy on paper, cut it out and play with it till it ripped. I'd draw up ponies, dragons, unicorns, horses, cyborgs etc. As I got older it turned more into just drawings, but they were drawings of characters I wanted to be. Now that I've graduated with a 2D animation degree, I tend to be fast at sketching and drawing, and learning new cartoon styles, like MLP FIM lol!

 

I cant wait to show you all my finalized work when i get to it back home. Till then you guys have to carry on the artwork here hehe

I just havent gotten started on it yet, theres so many pieces I want to do, but due to that I am sharing my computer with my fiance I dont have as much time, plus still planning the wedding and holidays, its crazy here at my place.

 

But NEVER FEAR pony friends! I finally compeleted another big project I promised to do, our picture of us friends all together including with my OC of Night Lights! For the first time we all get an idea of what we really look like together as a group, and honestly we all look ADORABLE together!!! Let me know what you think!

Facts about this image:

 

I had to clean up and paint each of our OCs from scratch and then adjust their size and put them together on an MLP FIM Ponyville background (I do not own the background image, it was a hummbled downloadable image I used since we tend to RP in Ponyville). If you dont like how your character is in position, let me know and I will do my best to readjust him/her, but please be aware that it will require me to resketch, reupload to my computer, reclean up and repaint lol!

  1. i thought you being a part of the blog was implied :P
  2. just simple poses,  and simple/monochromatic backgrounds
  3. take your time, this should come forty second on your list of things to do :) (and the specifics were in the above awnser)
