Oh, they assume that you're French?  Is that due to having a distinctly French accent, or because your features strongly denote French blood, or some other reason?

 

 

 

Ah, orchestral music...I can understand why that could be quite demanding.  There's just so much stuff that goes into an orchestral piece, and you have to write every last bit of it yourself!  I actually tried once to write a piece about the complexities of the human mind, but once I got to about measure five and then stopped after I realized that I could only have five instrument parts on the software I was using. I stopped doing that and moved on to other things, but if my band director at school manages to convince the school board that band students should get music-writing software on our computers, I'm sure a huge chunk of my time will go into doing that!

Anyways, I'll be sure to check out your channel on my desktop sometime soon!

Well, I'm massively French (at least 95%), so the Irish part is minimal and the norwegian part may not even exist xD.  I just like to think I descend from them because I love scandinavia so much (though, it is possible).  I like to think I'm super awesomesauce, too xD

Yeah, that could get in the way...but, I'm sure that there's some cool Norse god with brown hair!

But...but...except Scottish?  Ah, it's okay--you're fascinated by the rest of your awesome ancestry, so I can forgive you for not being obsessed with Scottland. In all seriousness, though, I'm not surprised--Scotland doesn't really have much to be fascinated by, 'cause it kept getting squished by England or Wales every time it tried to do anything cool.  Most of what it has going for it is bagpipes and the Celtic flute, and one of which is hated by a large percentage of people, while the other is relatively unheard of.

And, besides...when you've got Norse in your background, that kinda trumps nearly anything else, right?

Actually, I do love the Celtics, (not the basket ball team though. I don't like basket ball). But if I remember correctly the bagpipe was a gift to the scots from the German's (who I don't know if I'm related to but probably am since it's northern europe and that's the general area my liniage can be traced back to) as a gag present.

Huh, that's interesting.  I've never heard that, but I have heard that the bagpipes were originally used to drive predators away from flocks of sheep. Either way, they must've had a lot of tweaking since their origin!

Ah, just practice a ton, and you can get your voice nearly anywhere!  I've made it my goal to someday be able to sing soprano parts in the correct key, just for the lawls.
