It seems that we are the ones destined to be the vanquished. 

 

But winning the world cup was never the ultimate prize for us. 

 

We may have been lost this war, but that doesn't mean we didn't leave a worthwhile legacy. For we fought harder than any of our opposition to date. No amount of support was shown to them like it was shown to us. Even in defeat, The Changeling Swarm still showed hearts of champions, fought with valor and courage, and saw the conflict to it's bitter end, without surrender or retreat. 

 

The ultimate prize? You guys.  All of you who supported us and gave us your love, were what we needed to prove we can still continue on in this world, that we can still show everypony what it is to truly be a changeling.A championship cup, as the true championship? The passion and devotion we all displayed here, now that's the real reward. 

 

This night, here in Hayzil, was a proud moment for you Chryssi fans and us Changelings.

With the result of Pinkie Pie vs Princess Celestia right now, the Scootaloo victory is clearly an upset of epic proportions...

 

Would it be even more epic if Princess Celestia somehow defeated Pinkie Pie? Anything can happen surely. So nopony should be careless by ANY means.

Before we get to tonight's competition, let's have a quick recap of yesterday's picks.  Princess Luna over Shining and Sweetie Belle over Trixie were easy enough picks, and those two have rightfully earned their spots in the Round of 16.  The same goes for Applejack over Mayor Mare.  Now, as for the most interesting match, I'm pleased to see that, despite the fact that Chrysalis ended up with more overall votes, Zecora managed to overcome her and squeak into the Round of 16.

 

Me too!  She's the nicest zebra I know (she's also the only zebra I know), and I'm glad that we'll both be in the Round of 16 together.  *gasp* WE SHOULD CELEBRATE!!!

 

Yeah, party!!!

 

Hey, no parties until we've won this thing!  :angry:

Anyways, onto tonight.  Group C's relatively boring and easy; Fluttershy over Apple Bloom and Octavia over Angel, not that it really matters since the two former are already in the Round of 16 and the two latter are already out.  Group D, however, is a little more interesting, and, to be honest, I made a pretty strategic decision here myself; while I can't conscientiously vote for Bulk Biceps over Scootaloo (because come on, I can't vote for that guy over a CMC), I DID vote for Princess Celestia over Pinkie Pie.  I kinda want to see her in the Round of 16, and if she beats Pinkie, she just might squeak in.  So come on everypony, vote for the Princess of the Sun!!!!  B) 

 

I can't believe you're honestly rooting against Scootaloo.  She's so cute and such a trooper!

 

Yeah, what have you got against her???

 

Look, I got nothing against Scoots; I'd just prefer to see Celestia advance and not her is all.  I know that sounds bad, but whatever, it's my stance and I'm sticking to it.  VOTE CELESTIA EVERYPONY, BECAUSE BATMAN'S HER FAVORITE SUPERHERO!!!  :yay:

This is a close one, tbh. I find Angel underrated, and Octavia is one of the very few BG ponies I like. Eh, Angel needs more love, so I might as well give him a pity vote

Princess Celestia vs Pinkie Pie -

Although I love Celestia, Pinkie Pie was just my favorite pony for a while back when I first became a brony and is still one of my favorite characters of all time. I even made a coffee shop based around her in ROBLOX! So, Pinkie Pie it is.

C'mon we have to vote Apple Bloom just remember how cute she is. 

She's also Sweetie Belle's friend so she's friends with best pony and if it wasn't for Apple Bloom I would never of been in the fandom to begin with so please vote for Apple Bloom and not Fluttershy.
