One more before I go to sleep. (Kind of "Sleepless in Ponyville" meets creepypasta meets nursery rhyme the rhyme scheme reminds of "The Raven") kind of long, as well

My vote goes to Luna, but apparently she's already winning by far.

This one is pretty easy. Princess Luna. Not only, because she is cute etc, but also because of what she is like. I see her story as pretty sad, living in isolation and banishment for so long and I was genuinely happy seeing her being released from such torture in first episodes of MLP. I see her as very caring, yet at the same time she seem to be one of those fun looking ones. I like how she was getting back her social skills after long time of banishment in that Nightmare Moon (?) episode which name I can't really remember. It was not shyness, but genuine consequence of long isolation even if shown in more childish and simple way. I'd love to see her more in the show and I was always that kind of person who liked night in general and this fact made my choice pretty easy. 

On the other hand I'd be really sad if she became a villain again, don't make it happen, Hasbro

Too bad I missed the opening ceremony last night but getting enough sleep to overcome my jet lag was kinda more important.   

 

Go Zecora!    All kidding aside, it looks like Princess Luna is cruising to an easy win here.  I'm already looking ahead to her likely next opponent, Fluttershy.  The second round is where things get REALLY interesting and we'll have Mane 6 opponents going head to head for the first time in the World Cup. 

 

But let's not take anything for granted.  Be sure to vote for your favorites now to ensure that they'll advance!
