What do you dislike about your favorite character?

My favorite pony has to be Pinkie Pie, absolutely. Everything about her just being in an episode, makes it a ton brighter! I love how she is always happily and bubbly, and she reminds me of myself most of the time. 

Now here's the con about my favorite character. You see, as much as I love Pinkie's silliness, there are times where I wish she could be serious about a situation. Of course, Pinkie will be Pinkie...so I have no say. Lol

Pinkie is also my favorite because she reminds me of me around my friends and siblings being the hyper random one.

 

If there is a thing I dislike, it's the fave that she could get kind of annoying at some points where you want her to just shut up. That was my only problem with A Friend in Deed.

I love her to pieces, and there's never going to be second thought as to who my best pony is, because it won't be needed; Rarity's over-dramatic whining is my least favorite thing about her, even though it's not something I really "dislike," just am indifferent rather than enjoy.

Rainbow Dash is my favorite character which we all know, I think I like it when she has her moments. The only thing that I dislike about her is, how she is usually boasting about how awesome she is. There's a line between being subtle and just having an inflated ego.

Rarity? I literally dislike nothing about her, because she's the perfect character; her "whining" problem is merely mishandling of her personality by writers, and even then it suits her, haha.

If there is something I don't like, it'd just be that she's not in the show often enough.

I didn't even have anything I disliked about Rares. I just said something I didn't always enjoy, even though I think it's sort of funny

There's hardly much. Her stubbornness I find endearing, her occasional rudeness is actually a part of her character that I like, and her brutal honesty just proves that she lives up to her element and isn't afraid to be blunt. Perhaps what I dislike is the fact that she is a character with so much wasted potential. She's a great pony, but doesn't have much opportunity to show it.

Actually, I love all the things that are wrong with Rarity because they're hilarious. It's hilarious how dramatic she is, how vain she is, how she treats other characters like her own servants and so on.

Whatever, man. I still don't see how you seem to believe her negatives are her entire character, but to each their own, I guess. Those flaws are an enjoyable part of her character to some, but there's still so much you're leaving out of your descriptions of her

Hey, don't get me wrong, I've always loved Rarity right from the moment she gave Twilight that ridiculously-frantic "emergency" makeover in the pilot episode:

 

 

And yes, she's always been a beautiful character with an important virtue, right from the beginning:

As Fluttershy's my most favorite character, this answer is way too easy.

 

Her post-Season-1 flanderization.

 

Although she grew into a really interesting and complex character, following Return of Harmony or Lesson Zero, her development went to a standstill, and her characterization and development are way too inconsistent. Sometimes she's so cowardly, she can't do anything. Conversely, she'll become too selfish beyond what she's capable of (i.e., willing to hide and not go to Twilight Sparkle in the Everfree Forest in Magic Duel). Even after an episode where she does develop, it's back to square one, as if it never happened. She's the Spike of comic relief sometimes, and it's very annoying to see her thorough character often reduced to one little note.

Oh my...as much as I love my waifu, I have seen that she can be rather/mean angry at times. Examples being making Rarity and Pinkie PIe cry in "Putting your Hoof Down"At the Grand Galloping gala, trying to lure in animals to a trap.I'm not  really counting her turning into the Hulk in "Power Ponies" because that wasn't really her, it was her super power.
