I couldn't really care less who was VA for Vinyl, if she ever needed one for some reason, but I wouldn't really want nowacking. I've never really liked her voice of Vinyl, and every fan animation with Vinyl seems to have her in it, which bugs the hell out of me. I don't really think Vinyl needs a VA in the first place, but I wouldn't it to be nowacking.

She's alright in my opinion, but her attempts do seem a little... forced? I'm not sure if that's the right word. While she has a good voice for Vinyl, it feels to me like she's putting too much effort into it. Best way I can think of to describe it. Rina-chan would also be better at it I think. As for whether or not Vinyl should ever speak isn't something I want to get into. I'm not looking or hoping for it, but I wouldn't mind if she had a line at some point like Lyra did.

Agreed.  She's perfectly suited for fan projects, but that's because there's always a satirical element to those that makes her sort of over-the-top delivery work.  In the show itself, unless she only had a line or two, I couldn't really see it working, at least if we were supposed to take the character seriously.

A good reference is one that can be made and people who don't get the reference won't say 'What just happened' they'll just think it's part of the show. For example, they made a few Monty Python and the Holy Grail references last episode. Even those who don't get the reference thought it was part of the show. Same with De Lancie; I just thought it was a normal VA for Discord, not De Lancie. Weird Al fits in there somewhere too.

 

So if Vinyl got a voice actress like Nowacking, ponies would just think somebody is VAing Vinyl, and those who get it would said 'OHEY it's Nowacking'. That's not pandering, that's a good reference.

Discord was based off Q who was voiced by John. Cheese Sandwhich was based Off weird Al. If they want a VA for her then why not a famous singer (like rihanna)

Thanks everypony for your opinions!  I guess I should have mentioned that I did not mean that I wanted her to have a big part, just a couple of lines maybe, like Lyra.  I was overjoyed and freaked out when she finally said something!
