Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis for me :D

Those systems were freaking amazing... I still prefer all the 2D SNES Mario games to the stuff they came out with for the later consoles.

PS1, N64 and SNES were the consoles of my childhood. I still have fond memories of the PS1's startup screen, catching monkeys in Ape Escape, playing Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Super Mario 64 and Yoshi's Island. :)

Well though I did grow up in the 90's for a short while I was a little to young to play games then. Later on I got a gamecube though, and heck I played a lot on that thing. Especially mario kart double dash and smash bros melee my very first 2 games ^^

My mom didn't trust videogames after witnessing my obsession with the Atari 2600 and refused to buy another console, so all I had for the decade was a handful of PC games, and an NES from the time my cousin came in to live with us for a year or two.

I didn't start gaming until late 2000 when I got a Gameboy Color (it was a limited edition with Pikachu and Pichu on it), and it was until late 2002 when my cousin gave me his Sega Genesis that I never owned a home console. Even though I was born in '93 I didn't play any video games in the 90's.

It was the PS1 for me too. So many great times. That intro screen will forever be embedded in my mind. Crash and disney license games were my childhood, and I'll love them forever.

I was born in 85 so I played the NES and SNES, but when I really got into gaming was with the PS1 (I also had a N64 but most of the games I like were on PS1) twisted metal 2 Metal Gear Solid, goldeneye and perfect dark are the games I really played the hell out of. I had a lot of free time back then and I played just about every ps1 game I ever thought I might have liked. it got to the point that I was beating games that I did not even like, I just did because I had rented it and I was board. at some point it felt like a job.

also I remember when a disc was scratched and only 1/2 of the start up screen would play. you would take out the disc and try and clean it and try a few more time. each time I would hold my breath hopping that the 1/2 half of the start up screen would pay indicating that the game would work. anyone else remember that? also how weard was it with the black CD's? I find one ever now and then and I am like "o ya, ps1 disc's are black!"

those was the days, back when you had to blow into the cartidges to get them to work, jiggle the deck, take the cartridge out and put it back in againpost-1927-0-99446600-1401984538.jpg

O ya, I remember that too! I also remember the NES cartidges coming with an "end cap" to help keep the dust out. The problem seem to be worse on the NES, then The SNES but I could be wrong.

I grew up playing with these in the 90s. The PS1 has a Mod Chip, and I have a Game Genie for my NES. Cookie goes to who can name my friend in the picture, and no I'm not talking about Fluttershy.
