I keep hoping one day they will bring him back somehow. I don't like how he 'vanished' and I dont like the idea that he was 'killed' as it is Hasbro and they don't kill enemies they just banish them typically lol or send them to Tartarus, or cast them back into shadow.

 

Far as i recall, Princess Celestia said "if hatred and fear take hold" the Empire will fall, that I'm assuming to King Sombra. So there is a possibility he could return if for some reason something happened to the Empire to make it lose its protection on love and care.

What did you guys think about Sombra in Fall of the Crystal Empire? He was cool for most of the video...then the instant that Luna transformed, he lost all dignity and became a sniveling coward

 

I did not mind the ending myself I could not think of a better ending. XD

...he is basically the opposite of the main series Sombra, so yeah, he is a good guy until the last few pages of the arc where he sacrifices his good side to turn AU Celestia & AU Luna good, and he, in turn, turns evil though he still remembers his love for main Celestia.

I've never read the Harry Potter books, nor seen any of the movies so I wouldn't know on the end. In a way though, I can see him being like Sauron as if he was the top lieutenant for a darker, more powerful being (Grogar, maybe?).
