Jack Baker 698 May 15, 2014 Share May 15, 2014 Schools like this really make me sick, instead of the staff getting off of their fat, lazy asses and doing something about the bullying in their school, either they turn a blind eye to it, or they do something like this, which is pretty much blaming the kid like he's the one who started it. Honestly? Is it that hard for them to actually stop it themselves? 2 http://i0.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/401/740/6f9.png Check out Kyoshi's sig thread here. The Crimson Cross 7,532 May 15, 2014 Share May 15, 2014 I remember seeing this in the news a while back. Why on earth would the school even care about the backpack, I'm sure that addressing the bullies should have come first. It is disappointing that even the teaching staff targeted this poor kid for wearing the backpack. And if it was me I would be distraught seeing as it has even entered the news. Imagine how irritating that must be. Although I actually congratulate him for being open about it in such a scenario. Besides that backpack makes him 20% cooler. Now with more added tea leaves! Deano 1,704 April 16, 2015 Share April 16, 2015 Oh my. *hangs head in shame and briefly loses all faith in humanity* Poor little guy. I read this quite a while back, and this is just wrong. The school should be more ashamed than the bullies for their actions. Who ever was behind THIS SHALL... *suddenly remembers love and tolerance rule* ...probably have to rethink a few things. If in the ridiculously small chance he reads this, *brohoof*. And a darn good one at that. You stick at it buddy The artwork to the left of the signature is of my new *under construction* OC and was lovingly drawn by @ThePiDay. I'm incredibly grateful for and delighted with his work. SunflowerPrincess 345 April 16, 2015 Share April 16, 2015 *sighs heavily* And people wonder why I hate mankind. What's the point of banning a backpack? So that the bullies won't harass him again? They're gonna find another target, and what will they do when that happens? Punish the bullied kid for being the victim?
Justin_Case001 4,897 April 21, 2015 Share April 21, 2015 Hmm...this makes perfect sense to me. Banning the target of bullying seems like a logical and reasonable way to handle things. If they bully a kid for wearing a brown shirt, they should ban that, too. If they bully a boy for having long hair, the school should make him shave it off. If they bully him for having a big nose, the school should require him to have rhinoplasty to correct it. If they bully him for being too short, the school should require him to have that surgery where they break your shins and put massive braces on them to stretch them out. Yes, forcing kids to stop being who they are definitely seems like the best solution.

Starlight Fan 538 April 21, 2015 Share April 21, 2015 If I were that kid, I would go and start my own school, with love, tolerance, friendship and rainbow horses. Seriously he has the right to do whatever the hay he wants.
Attack of the Pwns 894 April 22, 2015 Share April 22, 2015 If I've learned anything through having friends that work in the U.S. School System, it's that administrators here in the Land of the Free are some of the densest people you'll ever meet, or at least it seems that way. If I were this kid's parent, I'd fight tooth and nail to keep my son's rights, and that's exactly what this kid's mom is doing according to an article I saw on EQD. Good on you, mom. You are an example to haters everywhere. Also, we should ban together as a fandom and do something to encourage this kid, he probably needs it after the unnecessary hate by both the school system and the bullies. Microghost 39 April 28, 2015 Share April 28, 2015 US schools suck! There's two people trying to start their own contries in Bir Tawil. One is Kingdom of North Sudan and the other one is "Jen" something (can't quite remember. It has like 3 or 4 syllables). Both will be a haven for scientific persuits and both countries would be monarch countries with issues being tackled by intellectuals and democratic semi-socialism with only smaller amounts of capitalism allowed. New countries, new rules. Though Bir Tawil is still a baren desert with no people and a lawless free for all(for now). US schools suck! Honsou 399 April 28, 2015 Share April 28, 2015 Pretty sure that violates his freedom of speech. So not only no, or hell no, but f*ck no. That is censorship, and it's also wrong for the school to say that well, you brought it upon yourself so stop doing it. By him taking off the backpack, the bullies will win, and they will continue to keep bullying him, as they now know they have real power over him. It only gets worse when you take that first half step back. NEVER FORGIVE, NEVER FORGET!
Guest April 28, 2015 Share April 28, 2015 God I remember hearing about this. What a crock of shit. Let the kid have an MLP backpack and fuck anyone who thinks it sucks. The school system failed this kid and it pisses me off. Why the fuck would you pander to the bullies rather than protecting the victim of the bullying? What backwards thinking. Fuck public schools.
