Thinking about how everypony is a different pony to everypony else, how we were left to believe Starswirl was such a great pony in theory he was a literal legend but he was actually a total POS... How everything is a matter of perspective and that first impressions are hardly ever telling, that echo chambers and yesmen dont make you a good person ..

Friend told me a scary story yesterday about a dream their grandpa had. Rattled my bones and has been a little bit. Don’t even know I’d even tell anyone given how it might make people have to think about what they’d do in that situation, knowing what the consequences could be … to others.

School shootings in the united states. I have to say I am disappointed by the picture this paints for US. And while it is true that we love them guns in 'merica. I would also suggest that from now on, we should focus less on guns, and more on drugs. Weed for everyone! The beneficial effects of cannabis can help people relax and be more friendly in the every-day school environment. So, I petitioned to congress about the implementation of weed burners in every classroom. So, people can learn to love and to peace together this great nation, once more. Double high-school!

I was not being serious, by the way. But I am actually worried, given the inherent tribalism of us humans as another kind of animal creature. Especially during extented times of peace, which have a price, too. Yes, believe it or not. War is beneficial, while also a necessity. Sometimes to weed out. Speaking of cannabis.

So, I was talking with this individual about the inevitability of conflict. Looking at the whole world like this massive thermodynamic system with points of friction, stress, and the likely possibility of cancer where energy is not properly managed and circulated. Much like the human body. And much like the human body, this system runs on blood, which creates... pain. Hence, the presence of so many addictive substances and practices in the environment of our modern world, as a means to deal with the stress caused by this social machinery. And it is not just a matter of banning drugs or specific components thereof. Because people will then find replacements, which are often more harmful.

Meaning that criminality is as necessary as law enforcement. Corruption is a necessity as well as is the law. Yes, the rich are as necessary as the poor. The tyrant is also as necessary as the opressed. The working labor in prison is not different from the slavery of old times.

Which is also in part the reason behind my constant preocupation. There is a part of me asking itself. "How are you gonna solve this?" And whenever I looked at the world, as a child. I saw this "machine". And people were its gears and working components. It is a very cold and objective view. But that is the knowledge that haunted me since childhood. As if at one point I had been responsible for this human machine. And the knowing of that ever-present entropy threatening with collapsing the whole system was too much. And still is. "Where do we go, now?"

It is not different with human beings. To know there is not a definitive answer or a final solution to this problem, is the source of my constant state of inner thurmoil.

Do you know that feeling? You cannot enjoy the times of peace because you are already focusing on the coming conflict. It is always there. In the back of my mind. World peace is a ridiculous concept, no matter how naive I  like to present myself as. I have sacrificed lives. I have sacrificed many lives in the past. And just to know that this may be an inescapable necessity, is driving me insane. I care for this creation. I do. But I do not have an answer.

I look at each side. And I see people. I see valuable lives. So, how do you pick a side when you have these lives in your hands? Under their flags, it is the same life.
