We all grew up with that familiar song from any video game you played. The tune and the beat. A song that will get stuck in your head whether you like it or not.

 

The music you can feature does not even have to be something you like. For me, I have a few.

 

From Banjo Kazooie, I would say the level Mumbo's mountain, because it was the first level in Banjo Kazooie to complete, besides the home world, but I remember this song and humming to the tune of it.

Another would have to be Loft Castle from Spyro the Dragon, the first game. I remember being on that level and being in love with the song.

The Super Mario Brothers them song, it is one of those timeless ones you never forget. It has been re mixed a million times over but the original is the one that really sticks out for me as Super Mario Brothers is one of the first games I ever played and possibly the first game 6 year old me has ever played

 

 

And another notable example is the Corneria boss theme from the original Star Fox for the SNES. The menacing opening made me wonder "just what the hell am I going to be fighting" and the rest of the song really got me pumped. It was the first boss and thus not that hard but still an epic song.
