HOWDY Y'ALL :D

Yeahh. I noticed that there's not any popular stars by posts with 10+ brohoofs. I demand an explanation I just wanted to see what's up with that, because I rather liked the idea behind it. It often made people want to read what you had to say, but you had to put some thought into it and make a quality post in most occasions. Also, given how anyone on the site can get a brohoof, it wasn't really encouraging elitism or anything like that; hell, from what I saw, it provided incentive to try and make gnarly posts, brah.

So yeahh; just wanting to see what's up with that :D

I'm curious to see why too, though I personally don't mind it's removal. I usually only notice them after I've already read the posts they're on. To be fair though, I've seen very high quality posts that don't even have any brohoofs to begin with. Maybe part of the reason is because the staff (and others as well) might feel that it sorta hogs up the spotlight from other posts that are equally as good. Like some will notice the post with the popular star, but won't notice the post without it, even though it might be just as deep and well thought out.

Hey, @@ghostfacekiller39! ^^

You remember me, don't you? ^^

Sorry for the late response, I was just recruited, you know! ^^"

Anyways, I believe the answer you're looking for is pretty simple. ^^

Basically, the Administrators of the forum felt the popular stars were unnecessary and distracted people from reading other posts that deserve just as much attention, as all posts are important! ^^

Don't want to leave any pony out of the spotlight now, do we? ^^

It makes sense though, don't you think? One member could find an interesting topic, but pay more attention to the posts with a popular star on them, even if posts without popular stars could have the same or more information. ^^

It's just to balance, I believe. We don't want members thinking some posts are more important than others. ^^

I hope that answers your question! ^^

Have a good one, Ghostie. ^^ (\
