Mywas 687 April 23, 2014 Share April 23, 2014 Just a question It feels to me that Most of the fandom rely on others for an opinion. Credits to Mint Drop for an awesome Sig.
hawkflame 3,315 April 23, 2014 Share April 23, 2014 I don't think so, but then I mostly associate with Rarity and Applejack fans. If we cared about bandwagons, they wouldn't be our favorite ponies. 3 Sig by Thunderstorm Check out my Rarity fansite!
Ribbonfree 2,384 April 23, 2014 Share April 23, 2014 Everything in the universe has a ton of bandwagons in it. It's gotten to the point where trying your hardest to not be on a bandwagon is in and of itself a bandwagon. The way humanity works, we naturally converge onto things others are doing. And there's only so much in this world to do in the first place, so there is always bound to be overlap with others interests. It helps bring people together, it's not a bad thing!
Untitled Goose Q 5,138 April 23, 2014 Share April 23, 2014 Every fandom is filled with bandwagons. Get used to it. 1 On 4/22/2016 at 6:16 PM, The Nightly Spectre said: One does not ask why The Questioner is awesome. Shift 4,275 April 23, 2014 Share April 23, 2014 One of my blogs is 'Shift does a bandwagon'. I bandwagon sometimes, but most of the times I have very unpopular opinions. 2 Have the courage to think and act on your own. And have the courage to disobey. Megas 28,155 April 23, 2014 Share April 23, 2014 Considerng how many fans practically rely on the analysts to determine the quality of certain things for them rather than form their own opinions,(i.e. this episode sucks, digibrony/tommyoliver/randomjackoff says so), I'd say yes. But in the end of the day, every fandom has bandwagons so it's nothing new

Shanks 10,817 April 23, 2014 Share April 23, 2014 Yes, every fandom does as that is human nature in general but there are also a lot of people in this fandom like myself who aren't bandwaggoners and just like what we like. Bendy 1,821 April 23, 2014 Share April 23, 2014 A little yes. But I have argued with other fans over things and stuff, so have many other Bronies with me. We're not a hivemind. ghostfacekiller39 23,879 April 23, 2014 Share April 23, 2014 Maud Pie, Coco Pommel, and Cheese Sandwich all got their own bandwagon just this season It's not just our fandom, or any fandom in general; bandwagons exist everywhere. You're best bet is to form your own opinions about things 1 He who is Positively Obsessed With All Things Rarity!!! Check out the Rarity Fan Club! M'aiq the Liar 5,804 April 24, 2014 Share April 24, 2014 This fandom is were it is today because of it being a bandwagon. So yes, this bandwagon of a fandom does indeed have bandwagons within it. So the bandwagon has a bandwagon that is the result of a bandwagon. 1 http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/vera-yeoman-r5921Muh pleb tier OC .http://mlpforums.com/blog/1663/entry-12477-pony-waifu-wedding-13-maiq-x-fleetfoot/ MLP forum's #1 Fleetfoot fan also married to fleetfoot <
Discordian 6,021 April 24, 2014 Share April 24, 2014 Implying bandwagons are a bad thing.... If you like something, you like it. Few get into a fandom purely because everyone else is doing it. Everyone else doing it can inspire you to get it a go but that won't change how you feel about it.
Frith is Magick 1,472 April 24, 2014 Share April 24, 2014 Isn't avoiding bandwagons a bandwagon itself? Opinions will converge, people will have common points, so while there may be a little bandwagoning for the sake of bandwagoning, it seems to be largely a meeting of common interest than blindly following whatever is popular. Popular things are sometimes popular for a reason. 3 Keep flyin'
Thrashy 2,800 April 24, 2014 Share April 24, 2014 (edited) Kind of. Some of them don't bother me, others quite a bit. Mainly I'm not a fan of mindless hatewagons - "X episode sucks, don't watch it OR ELS U BAD BRONEE", "X writer sucks for writing Y episode, RIDICULE THEM INCESSANTLY", "new movie/toy line/fan animation/whatever? QUICK, JUDGE IT BEFORE WE'VE EVEN GIVEN IT A CHANCE!", "ew, cloppers/grimdark readers/etc. aren't REAL bronies!", blah de-friggin' blah - but every fandom succumbs to such hatewagons at some point, so it's nothing I can single out this fandom for. As far as bandwagons of a more positive nature, I rarely find one that singularly irritates me. As long as people are having fun, right? We ARE all having FUN, aren't we? :okiedokielokie: Edited April 24, 2014 by The Thrashy One

Megas 28,155 April 24, 2014 Share April 24, 2014 Implying bandwagons are a bad thing.... I don't think bandwagons are bad at all. I think the problem though is that I feel that the fandom has more negative bandwagons(or hatewagons as Thrashy put it) over good ones
