Doctor XFizzle 8,672 May 7, 2014 Share May 7, 2014 So we already have Mega Manectric Mega Aggron Mega Mawile Mega Blaziken Mega Medicham Mega Gardevoir Mega Banette Mega Absol Mega Latios Mega Latias already. Who else from this gen will get a mega? I gotta believe Sceptile and Swampert have to in order to make it fair if Blaziken gets to have one. After that, who knows. Maybe none. RWB 229 May 7, 2014 Share May 7, 2014 @@RWB, I believe those are "faeries" not "fairies". There's a difference. Fairies are more like sprites ...Faerie is just a different spelling. What you are thinking about is actually what is simply called a sprite(itself a type of fairy). Fairies include all kind of bestial and beautiful creatures. "The meaning of life? Humans create their own meaning. Espurr 449 May 7, 2014 Share May 7, 2014 (edited) I am currently stuck in sapphire. I think I will play the remake first. Then I'll get back on it. But I will get it. But since it's in November I guess I should probably just play through sapphire which I like so far. By the way, I'm glad someone made a topic about this. I thank you!!! Zhortac 1,475 May 7, 2014 Share May 7, 2014 Am I the only one here who isn't on the Hoenn bandwagon? Sure, R/S was great, but still. I'm not. I really didn't think Hoenn was that great. I have yet to play gen 4, but I thought Gen 3 was meh. I know I was a hardcore Gen 1 and 2 guy, but not so much since I played two Gen 5 games. But Gen 3 wasn't that spectacular. 1 Feel free to add me on steam if you want to play something. Also don't be afraid to message and talk to me. I've had bad luck when I start a conversation, so I more then likely won't start one.

GaleFenrir 281 May 7, 2014 Share May 7, 2014 Oh, well then, my mistake Even so, do these look like anything but sprites? Save Milotic and Granbull First off, that pic isn't at all accurate to the fairy typing that is present in Gen VI. Presenting such misinformation could cause confusion, and calls into suspect the rest of your argument. Secondly, well, Xerneas clearly ain't no sprite, dawg. Ryzu 984 May 7, 2014 Share May 7, 2014 no, actually, an Emerald remake is highly unlikely. Crystal and yellow never got remakes, after all. They used Alpha and Omega as names. Alpha and Omega is a term in itself, no other greek letter would fit in as a third game. Furthermore, the logos of Team Magma and Team Aqua are of Omega and Alpha, and there is no team for Rayquaza. Alpha and Omega is a saying that means "the beginning and the end", " from the beginning to the end", stuff like that. Its because alpha and omega are the first and last letters of the Greek (or was it Latin?) alphabet, respectively. Edited May 7, 2014 by Evilshy Signature now 99% less edgy! Haven Celestii 9,385 May 7, 2014 Share May 7, 2014 Fairy. Fairy. A redcap and a version of the Nix. I didnt really wanna sleep anyhow. Thank god i don't have too many dreams either. But, thanks for showing those. Guess that side of them just aren't shown or talked about normally. At least, not from any school ive been in thus far. Im also not into mythology at all, so that would explain why as well. I guess Grandbull makes more sense than I thought. They need to add more badass fairies then. Mutemutt 773 May 8, 2014 Share May 8, 2014 My thoughts can be summed up in a quite a few words: "Eww. Remakes" I'm not really a fan of remakes in general, honestly. I liked ruby and sapphire enough but meh. Knowing me, I'll probably end up buying it anyway, somewhere down the line.
Moonlight Magician 494 May 8, 2014 Share May 8, 2014 The fact that they're remaking Hoenn is no surprise to me. They already did it with Kanto and Johto. What's weird is that I can remember R/S coming out. I was 11 or 12 at the time. I threw in the towel with Pokemon long ago. I simply got bored with it. But it'll always have a special place in my nostalgic heart They remade Kanto and Johto games because people were angry that they couldn't transfer their Pokémon to Ruby/Sapphire. I'm really looking forward to seeing Hoenn being remade. Soooo pumped!
Arylett Charnoa 4,919 May 8, 2014 Share May 8, 2014 (edited) Uh, yay, I suppose. I'm not really all as excited as everyone else because these games don't give me nostalgiagasms. It was a generation I largely skipped due to a mistaken idea that Pokemon was "for babies." I only came back near the end of it and quickly played through Sapphire without even making it to the Elite 4. Due to this, I remember VERY little of these games. I haven't really gotten the opportunity to play through them for realz either due to the amount of grinding required turning me off. Then again though, I try not to have nostalgiagasms about anything because I don't like those filters blinding me to what is and isn't quality. That being said though, I'll still get them. They're main series Pokemon games, and that's enough for me. And the prospect of having improvements over X/Y is very appealing to me because those games were really just experiments due to it being their first time in three dimensions anyway. I'm less excited though about reliving an old adventure I can barely remember and more so about how they claim it'll be a new experience in a whole new world. I hope that there will be more regions to explore or a much more epic story in the vein of B/W. And look forward to the improvements they will inevitably make. I'm more concerned about the implications on the series. If they can remake these for the 3DS, what's to stop them from issuing remakes of remakes? (FireRed/LeafGreen remakes?) I wouldn't mind this too much if they updated the story and made it more epic like they claim they're going to do with these. (And also due to my obsession and fascination with three dimensional graphics. I wanna see all the regions in 3D one day.) But if they just remake them straight, I find it a bit pointless of an endeavor. What's next? Diamond and Pearl remakes? (I find those more appealing because I got back into Pokemon around that generation) This is probably jumping a bit too ahead, but anything could happen. I certainly didn't expect these. I'll buy it all regardless of what they do 'cause I'm just a hardcore Pokemon fan anyway and I'll always love the series. One thing; I don't really think those are Mega Evos of Kyogre and Groudon. I could be wrong, but they just look more like stylized versions of the two than Megas. It's probably just the art style of the box work. I'm in a similar situation (I was a middle schooler and too cool for pokemon, so I barely played Ruby, didn't even beat it), but that's why I'm even more excited. I never got a real Pokemon experience out of Gen 3, but now I can, with the new stuff a remake brings. As for Gen 4 remakes, probably not until next system, I'd guess. Signature now 99% less edgy!
