Metroid Prime Hunters on DS.  SUCH A GOOD GAME!

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, or at least outside of the first few servers on the server listing, because after those it's practically a ghost town.

of Duty World at War. It was my first ever CoD series game, I got it on the same day I got my Xbox 360. It was such a fun game when playing online. I remember there were a lot of people playing it back then. Nowadays it's mostly dead, can't even play all the modes.
It was the first COD I played as well. Besides having to deal with the mp40, which I thought was overpowered at the time,  I loved it. Looking at all the cods today, I would've assumed that there was atleast a couple hundred still playing it

One of my favorite all time games The Lord of the Rings: War of the Ring

Still playable but now you need a third party server system to do multiplayer, which there are little to NO players on at a time. Singleplayer story is still fun and the little AI games you can do are also still enjoyable.

um

I knew that. Obviously.

Ahaha. O-K. Didn't seem like it by looking at your scroll bar lol. I never had problems finding games with many people. I'm just sayian~

I still have it and play it with my sister! Too bad that the online servers for DS games will be shut down soon. :(

That's a shame. :/ That game was great!

AVP2.  Now THERE was some good, olde thymey fun.  And original Unreal Tournament.  No shooter has every come close to matching UT for the fast paced, arena style deathmatch.  Sadly, there's hardly anyone on that game, and you if you manage to find a server with people in it, you have to dl gigs upon gigs of random CRAP to be able to join.

  • 2 weeks later...

The original Halo for PC/Mac: It was the only game I ever really got into enough to join clans and play at least a few matches a day. The community was lively and it used to be near impossible at times to find a server that had any open player slots.

I've watched it die slowly over the years... I just checked two or three days ago, and there were six servers total with five players divided between two of them, the other three completely empty. :(

Well, it's probably not what you were expecting to hear, but the games that come to my mind are largely just the local multiplayer games. Which means "people", in my case, refers to family and friends I use to play with. Anyway, the games are:

Kirby Air Ride

Dokapon Kingdom

Tales of (any of them, really)

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles

That's pretty much it. It's ironic that the online age, which allows us to play with countless others all over the world, has made us play alone more than ever.

Star Wars: Empire at War. Back in the day there was literally no wait time to find a quick match and a ton of servers. I just jumped on and there are a total of 6 people on. Sad with Disney's acquisition of Lucas Arts that I'm more than likely not ever going to get a new version. In my opinion it pretty much blows the 2 other Star Wars RTS games that I know of out of the water.

Single player is still fun but the other people are what really made me keep comming back.

Without a doubt..........Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 & 2 Plus.   If Sega releases an HD version on the 360 or the ONE, and also enables online access, that would make my day, :)

Heroes of Might and Magic III. I believe that was the greatest one in the series.

And... The original starcraft. I undersand there is a second and it is pretty good but the first one had much better online play. All i ever get now is people trying to get to higher leagues then dissing those in lower leagues. What ever happened to playing a game to play?

I honestly wish people still played Fallout 1 and 2.

*raises hand*

I wish people still plays Halo 3. Reach was sort of like it but not as good then Halo 4 just sort of went off into its own direction. I liked 3s multiplayer a lot.

I only love you platonically.

As in plate tectonics.

As in two bodies sliding against each other.

I wish my friends still played pokemon with me.  They got new games now.  I hate wifi random battles because most of them have hacked teams or entire teams of legendaries and that is no fun at all.

- Transformers: War for Cybertron. *sigh* At least Transformers: Fall of Cybertron and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen still have people playing...

- Head Hunter in Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. Altough there are still people playing the game it's mostly on Team Deathmatch. I wish more people played Head Hunter. That game mode is tons of fun!

- Crysis 3. Why does nobody play Hunter mode anymore? I blame the Rhino...

Hmm, I was going to say world of Warcraft.

But I think that's just my . Tbh I find it hard to get invested in a game now, I don't really have freinds who play games with me and I find it boring to play games solo most of the time :P

Easy, Every old game from the Command & Conquer series. I loved Tiberian sun and Red Alert 2. Generals was also a lot of fun, but still classics <3

I actually have all of those games still. Never bothered trying to play online though. I stopped playing after whichever one added the aliens though. So basically around the time EA became bad.

Thatr was C&C 3: tiberium wars. And i agree, the game never took quite off and i felt it kinda was pointless, Cain has already died twice and was still apparently alive there... whatever logic dat is.

Edit: on another note, it is in my eyes  the last real game from the studio that made these games. The game still had the real C&C spirit in it and the gameplay was not bad considering it had been bought up from EA already back then. Red Alert 3, C&C4 felt like rushed games compared to this game. Not that Red Alert 3 was bad, it was just boring in general compared to Red Alert 2.
