  1. Probably because she is thrown aside in every episode she is in even though she plays a narrative essential role. In Canterlot Wedding most of what we see of Cadence is actual Queen Crysalis. In Crystal Empire She is seen struggling to hold her barrier of love and light but the focus remains on twilight and the main six. In Equestria Games she gets a few small scenes but the focus is diverted mainly to Twilight the gang and the Weird chicken butt pony as well as cutting to the actual games inspector. We have yet to get an episode that gives her a chance to elaborate on her character. I like the concept of Cadence I like the tiny bits we see of her character, but she desperately needs to be expanded upon.
  2. Well it should be noted that according to Commander_PonyShep the writter of the article aggrees that Princess Twilight is not sexist. Though Im going to elaborate on your points regardless. The whole point of the scene was one of growth. Reaching a new stage of life. That was one of the themes of Celestia's ballad. That and the love and support of a mentor and mother figure. Celestia guided a process Twilight had already started. This is indicated by said theme and the various visual indicators. The magic that transformed Twilight was the color of Twilights magic and came from within Twilight herself. There is also the burned in image of Twilights cutie mark on the floor and in the sky. Its not about consenting to a new position its about growing up and moving into a new phase of life. Twilight had always been moving toward something grander, always bettering herself. She had always been meant to succeed Celestia in some manner and in some ways already had. A ponys life is very different from the one we live. In reality it is quite normal for someone to spend much time in one profession only to switch to a new one, and many wont know what to do fro quite some time flondering about for decades. This is not so in Equestria every pony is destined to find what they are meant to do and continue down that path for the whole of their lives. the basic lesson or meaning to derive from the cutie mark is not to rush or force yourself into a position in life, and that with patience you will find your place. Of course this isn't completely true in reality, but that is the basic lesson. With Princess Twilight the basic lesson is that through hard work you can do great things, you can become more than you are. It dosnt apply to a real world senario and if you try to apply pony life to real life senarios your going to find a lot of discrepancies. We know that Celestia's duties include dealing with foreign dignitaries such as the Saddle Arabians. Dealing in the local politics of towns such as discussing things with the mayor of ponyville. She also controls the rights of certain lands as she gave Grannysmith's family the land that would be ponyville. Then the extreme task of Raising the Sun to bring forth the day. Luna has to maintain night and it would seem the dreamscape. They are also at the forefront when it comes to making or decisions regarding massive threats to ponykind. Even in the field of in-acting the plans. Before Twilight and the other ponies had control of the Elements it was the royal sister's job to wield them in times of crisis. Cadence took on the responsibility of protecting the crystal empire and it seems continues to do so. As for Twilight we will just have to wait. though she seems to have been doing princess like things for a while now. Saving the world, organizing major significant events such as the Summer Sun Celebration, and Winter Wrap Up ect. 5.) Im pretty sure being trapped in a wall of dark crystals that seems to sap your magic whilst a dark ethereal wizard is headed directly in your direction is immediate danger. Not to mention she was willing to potentially sacrafise her standing as Celestias student in her eyes. Which as we know means a lot to her. When has Twilight ever truly questioned Celestias orders before that point. The only time I can recall in Keep Calm and Flutter On. 6. I dont think so. We may not know the absolute specific purpose of the spell. What we do know of it is very significant. We know it was made to alter the Elements of Harmony in some way as both it's incomplete and completed version effect the elements. We know that it wasnt meant to swap the Elements of Harmony and that star swirls spell was incomplete. What is shown is that an understanding of friendship is needed to do so. The spell is presented as the one thing Starswirl could not do. The major thing the most legendary magic user in Equestria failed to complete. Twilight however did. That alone is very significant. Also we dont know the writer dont know the purpose of the spell. All we know is that they expressed they did not know. It may indeed turn out that it may be elaborated upon. Yes it is special and it is rare. I never claimed otherwise. However the means seem very similar. Twilight reached it through the full realization and application of the magic of friendship. Just as a pony generally receives a cutie mark by realizing and applying their special talent. What? Now that seems a bit of a stretch to me.
  3. I don't know. Maybe. I mean they could probably do some interesting character stuff with him. Maybe show a deeper side to his character underneath the his rude outward demeanor.
  4. Ok How in the world is twilight becoming a princess sexist? The term in mlp doesn't even share the same meaning as it does in other media. Unlike other princesses Twilight learned and performed amazing deeds before she became a princess. It wasn't a title she was guaranteed to have. Here lets just list what she did to earn being a princess. 1.) Continuous eager determined study and application of the magical arts under the direct Guidance of Celestia. In other words hard work. 2.) Rediscovering the Elements of Harmony and channeling the energy defeating nightmare moon. 3.) Reminding all of the Mane six of who they truly were and defeating discord. 4.) Was the only one to notice Cadences strange behavior leading Twilight to motivate Cadence to find an escape leading to the defeat of Queen Chrysalis. 5.) Being the primary force that lead to finding the Crystal Heart. Displaying selflessness in sacrificing her own needs in the face of a crisis. 6.) Fixing the Elements of harmony using a heightened understanding of their connection to the ponies and the magic of friendship. Then applying that knowledge to fix/complete the spell that caused it in the first place. Yeah that's right she found a solution to the spell that confounded Equestria's most famous, prestigious magic user. Forget princess name a queen that did as much to earn a title. People are referring to the typical disney princess label, but are ignoring the major difference between what the title actually means so far. Princesses in Equestria are not just royal, they aren't there just for show. The are extremely powerful magical beings that each represent their own extreme fundamental power in Equestria. Those being day/life, night/dreams, love/light, and friendship/ magic. Really up til now that's been a concern among fans, just how crazy powerful the other princesses are. In fact its an exact reversal of what is normally seen in media. Princesses earn their titles and are pretty much the highest power there is. The only princes we have seen were Blueblood who is granted his label by relation to Celestia and Shining Armor who married into the title. Heck in another reversal Shining armor has had to be saved by Twilight and Cadence Twice now. If they are talking about appearance, then I'm really missing the meaning. How are wings sexist? Twilight went had a physical change given to her through a magical process upon realizing and applying an extremely heightened knowledge. Sound familiar. Cutie marks are just a less extravagant similar process. A physical change happens upon realizing and applying a pony's talent. Really why haven't they tried to argue that MLP is sexist for having the ponies walk around with tramp stamps or butt tattoos. In fact we have three little girls whose aspirations are to get trap stamps or butt tattoos.
  5. The Twilight image was made to emphasize Twilght's realization of the magic of friendship and the harmony that entails. Using her cutie mark to show that it was always part of who she is. I used a book to frame the lower half of Twilight as well as to so that her studious nature was part of what lead her to this. http://anadukune.deviantart.com/art/Harmony-Realized-entry-374638218 This is my Nightmare Moon piece. I wanted to emphasize her mane, make it look even more magical looking. Using it to also present her beautiful night. I completed by framing her lower section with the crescent moon. It was made in Photoshop and uses a combination of vectors and painting. http://anadukune.deviantart.com/art/Essence-of-Night-contest-entry-374477702
  6. Id have to answer with an emphatic maybe. Here's the thing, I was ready to write MLP FIM off. I probably wouldn't have watched it if not for all the various sources showing and telling me about it. There's a good chance I would write this off if not for its connection to the show and production team. If EG was spread around and I heard enough about it I would have taken the same actions as I did with MLP.
  7. See there you go. Yes they are misinterpreting Princess Twilight. Can you name another princess who earned her princess hood more than Twilight? Can you name another character that actually earned the title rather than being born or marrying into it? They are focused on a label but ignore the actual content.
  8. Man you are on a whole... thing with this aren't you? Why obess over the marketing? The writting team takes silly concepts and makes or tries to make them awesome. You know like magical ponies in a fantasy world promoting the values of friendship. Doesnt that sound stupid. Or didnt it before MLP FIM. I know it did to me. Large marketing influences have been present since the show began. Who came up with the idea to put Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle into the show? In any case if you want a really long look into my thoughts on the matter of MMM and Alicorn Twilight here is a seven page overview on the episode. http://mlpforums.com/topic/49755-s03e13-magical-mystery-cure/?p=1440962
  9. As I said in the other topic I think that blog article is pretty poorly presented. Given that, the article shouldn't influence your opinion so heavily. Rather than restate what has already been stated Ill just link that response. http://mlpforums.com/topic/61575-lauren-fausts-intentions-with-twilight-are-confusing/?p=1507641 We don't know how the show would be like right now had she stayed. She probably doesn't even know. All she has were her intentions which were subject to change even had she stayed. Why do so many have trouble just accepting that she has left and her original plans whatever they may have been no longer apply? Instead of judging the show based off what it may or may not have been you should examine what is.
  10. Wow your worried because of that article. Really it seems rather poorly put together to me. in the beggining it focuses on the word princess and ignores every aspect of presentation in the episode itself. This article uses not even one freaking example from the episode to demonstrate its point. It just assumes that a character becoming a princess no matter the context is a bad thing. That just seems a poor and lazy argument to me. I don't write for a website yet I took the time to write seven pages on my position with plenty of references to the episode. Why couldn't they? Really there are a few things Twilight's princess hood convey. 1. If you work hard and put your mind and body to it you can accomplish great things. Twilight wasn't just granted princess hood she earned it. Twilight had through constant study and hard work reached a knew stage of life few ever manage to. There was a whole sequence demonstrating this(Celestia's Ballad) 2. The word princess is MLP is only similar as a label. A princess by typical label is either someone born or married into royalty. Their title is granted for no other reason than by their linage or marriage. This is not so in MLP. A princess is not the daughter of a King or Queen, a princess is the highest power there is. Not just by status but in act Princess Celestia Raises the sun and governs all of Equestria whilst handling foreign dignitaries. Luna Raises the moon and stars and walks in and manages the dreams of the ponies. Cadence can manage love and has taken responsibility for the Crystal Empire. A princess in Equestria seems to be a title earned at least it was in Twilight's case. In fact the only titles earned by marriage or by relation in MLP have been Princes. Shining Armor became a prince through marrying Cadence and Brince Blue Blood was a Prince through relation to Celestia. This is the opposite of what is normally seen. The females are in power and they earn that power. Tell me how is this sexist? Because they are called princesses? That is only a label, a label that means something quite different than in it does in other media. 3. It presents the core message of the show, that being friendship. Does the article even address the core theme of MMM? How Twilight became a princess in the first place? Becoming a princess was just the result of her having a full understanding of the magic of friendship. Her friends were the most important thing to her. Friendship enabled the whole thing to happen. The entire segment of A True True Friend song. The completion of Star Swirls Spell which relied and focused on friendship. Then that whole speech Twilight gave about how she wouldn't be there without her friendship. Friendship is the basis of her princess status, Her friendship with the mane six is present on her cutie mark which had a huge presence during the latter point of her transformation. Why doesn't the article address anything actually from the episode rather than the label of princess? Then there is the way in which they address Equestria Girls. I may not like the design but to call them "overtly sexual anima-people" is really going too far. Oh yeah I wanna hit that. Ok really that is pretty rediculous to me. Just as rediculous as when some say Celestia and Luna are as such and they are princesses which means being skinny is being better. Then she complains about the same body types then says this in referance to the pony body types. "I know that the original characters were visually similar to one another(body type)" . They have the exact same bodies. This was to make production easier. They also use a picture that isn't of the actual character designs. Yes indeed I did look at that picture, though I got a better look at the other picture and the trailer which display the actual character designs used. As Lauren has stated her idea no longer apply to the current production. As Lauren has said ideas morph and change as a show progresses. Season one didnt go exactly as she intended doe this automatically mean its bad?
  11. Yeah it was really weird. I left out some stuff too. Like when Eddie Murphey is asked why he chose Pinkie Pie and he responds with this. Cause my girl like to Party...PARTY ALL THE TIME!!! Then Pinkie jumps out of his shirt with confetti saying something like ya betcha baby. It was really weird.
  12. I had an extremely silly dream last night that I was dared to write a purposefully bad fan fic. So I wrote a fan fic called Party All The Time witch shipped Pinkie Pie and Eddy Murphy. To my dismay it became an internet sensation that surpassed all other memes. I got a knock on the door from the head of Hasbro who was Saturu Iwata apparently. I was given seven million in cash and invited to a coffee filled pool party. Everyone was at this pool party, I mean everyone. At this party the movie Party All The Time is revealed. Its animated like a episode of the show except there is a cutout of Eddie Murphy that shows up and romances Pinkie Pie. The song Party All The Time plays in the background whenever Eddie Murphy is on screen no matter the context of the scene. I hated that this was popular so much. Then I had a talk with Lauren Faust. She grabbed me by the collar and shook me violently screaming at me to believe in myself. The dream ended with the song Party All The Time playing and pinkie dancing with Eddie Murphy
  13. The show isn't the same. Like any show it develops and changes. Characters change and develop as does the world. Regardless of what the various reasons for the implementations for those changes are. Yes Hasbro wants to market toys using the show. They've been doing so since the show's inception and it will continue as it does in all of their franchises. The show was created to sell toys like it or not. Does that mean its quality is bad? No, you enjoyed the first seasons. Really very compelling arguments can and have been made for the shows continuing quality. I wrote seven freaking pages detailing the presentation of the season three finale. Maybe you just need a break. I took a long break from star trek now I'm Marathoning the all of the series and enjoying the hell out of it. Same with Doctor Who.
  14. Well I cant say anything about the movie yet. There too much unknown for me to form an solid opinion yet. All I can say about the trailer is that the human designs lend themselves to the animation the show is known for better than I anticipated. Though I will say those toy prototypes are ugly. Man ewwww.
  15. Problem is we don't know why she is looking for the crown or the crown's significance. Lauren wanted to create a show for girls "that wasnt stupid". A show that showed there are multiple ways to be a girl through great characters. Will the movie stay true to that? We wont know until we have full context. the toy prototypes are freaking ugly though and go against all that is good, though the MLP FIM toys pretty much always have until recently.
  16. Well Fighting is magic was the most prominent game. All one has to do to get a game C&D is to email Hasbro about it. Yep that's it, its as simple as that. The second that EVO thing happened I knew. Derpy appeared a number of times in the background of Magical Mystery Cure. As for her appearance in season 4, we will just have to wait and see. If your referring to that rumor then no it was almost certainly fake.
  17. Wow those things are pretty ugly. I really don't like them...at all. Then again Hasbro has been pretty awful at making any if the mlp toys bearable to look at until recently. Good God that pink Celestia toy was bad! No her wings were not pretty! Yeah not diggin these, though maybe the actual product will be better. edit: you know actually I hate them. They are just soooo ugly to me. again maybe the final toy will be better but man these are bad.
  18. Yes and she tweeted it in reference to the Merida redesign debacle which she had been tweeting about a lot the previous day and on the thirteenth when it finally resolved-kinda. The only thing she tweeted which seems to be in reference to EG is this. "Dont blame the content makers for the marketing department's decisions" This is a statement that is commenting on a fan reaction not the product itself.
  19. 1.) Yeah but that seems to be missing the point of my response. We shouldn't we expect or require her to elaborate on a topic she has expressed numerous times she wish not to because of the ignorance of others. If they cant do the simple research to find out whether she works on the show or not then why should we expect they would know about her elaboration even if she made it? The info that she is no longer a member of the show is very easy to find. How would an elaboration help in any matter if they cant find info that by this point should be common knowledge and has been addressed over and over? 2.) Why? The whole Merida debacle was going on at the exact same time. All of her tweets are in direct reference to it. During the whole alicorn thing she merely expressed a similar sentiment to what she had always been saying. Her original ideas were just that ideas and were subject to change within the current production. As a result of her not being on the production to implement any of her ideas they became irrelevant to the current production. Not mlp as a whole but the current production. Rather than taking that to mean what it means people try to apply it to mean Lauren hates the current production. I don't fear that. In fact I would love to know her original intentions. My fear is the same as the reason she expressed as to why she remains silent on the issue. People will use it to unfairly de- legitimize the current production team's works. People are already trying to do this. 3.) What I mean is that she doesn't want to elaborate on it. This much seems pretty clear. Why cant we respect that? Why must we ask for more? 4.) It's a constant problem in the field. Something that any artist can relate to whether it be a musician, a painter, a fashion designer, or an animator. It's something she has to contend with all the time. Its something her husband has to contend with all the time. It's part of her life as a whole. Hasbro may apply but I doubt it was the sole or even main focus. The episode applies to almost every client to some degree. Every client I have had has done something dumb with the exception the Brony clients. For this reason I find it highly unlikely she targeted Hasbro as the one and only specific target. Oh god prepare yourself. Here's a few examples. Example 1 Nightmare.) back in July of 2012 I was commissioned to do an animation. I had a talk over the phone with the man. He seemed reasonable enough, he wanted a four to five min animation done in flash for which he would pay me about $700. He sets a deadline for September...ish though he seems loose on it. Now right from the start I told him this was a daunting task. He expressed that he wanted it very basic it would move but only just( one position, hand movements, and mouth symbols and only two backgrounds). It seemed he knew what he was talking about, this would seem to make the project quite doable. So he sends me the script and...its pretty bad, but I figure it my job to make it look good so I start the process. Its starts fine. I start by designing the characters. I make three rough sketches for each character he picks the ones he likes. So far so good. So I'm talking with him about when I will have an initial storyboard and he asks what that is. So I explain what a storyboard is and he says no. At this point Im like "oh dear" so we have this exchange where I explain to him the the importance of doing a storyboard. No matter how I phrased it he wouldn't back down he thought the project would get done faster without one. Reluctantly I have to back down but I express the fear that it will cause problems later on. He asks for a rough of the first scene in about a week. I say its doable and proceed to do so. He likes it and asks for the other scene. I proceed to do so. Upon receiving it he says there is no difference in the scene and he asks for the updated file again. This confuses me, so I send it again. This goes on for three exchanges until he finally elaborates on what he means. He didn't listen to the dialog all he did was look at the background and character and failed to notice the extra 40 seconds of basic movement. I clear this up and he understands. This would happen nearly every time I sent him a scene. Then there were the audio problems, he failed to organize his audio at all, and there were multiple files missing. Upon realizing this he asked me to leave out the audio and just use lip movements. There was also the fact that he failed to account for audio editing time. He would constantly ask for updates whilst I was editing these massive 20 min audio files. Then the project really started to falter as I was reaching the half way point I was realizing the project would exceed the proposed running time by at least two mins. On top of that the project was running me ragged. Well in this moment I send him this info and we were passing this deadline he has set. He gets pretty heated about it. At this point I have at least five mins of animation, the animation is not very good because he constantly tells me to use less and less movement. At this point he expresses that he fails to understand what is taking so long and that he himself could have finished it by now. At this point it we set up a meeting at a cyber cafe. So I tell him this problem resulted mainly due to the lack of a storyboarding process and the poor organization of the files he sent me. There was also the fact that he put things in the script he didn't want and wanted things he didn't put in the script. I eventualy dropped the project after he had said he wanted quantity over quality and this was after a lot of other just stupid things. For example he wanted me to turn random layers off during the animation and to have a dancing baby in the background. He added a narration segment lacking animation. He wanted to add live action video footage of his baby daughter for no reason. By the end he suggested using basic sketches for final animation. Everything he wanted made the whole thing worse and worse. Example 2 Rigidity.) This happened during a class called Team Production. To make a really long story short during the project one of our team members just stopped doing anything, she became dead weight. This lead to a huge work load and management increase. Then at one point my other team mate had a stress breakdown due to this and her other classes. This left me doing everything for days. All of the animation and everything else. It ended up with me pulling five days no sleep to a point where I was so mentally and physically ill my friend forced me to go home. This leads in to the client who up till this point had been excellent. However there was this crowd scene they wanted and they kept asking for more and more people. At one point she had said something like thirty people. It was like negotiating with a foreign dignitary. No matter how we stated how unfeasible a task this was the client wouldn't budge. This rigidity lead me to have to animate or ink fifteen to seventeen individual people for said audience in no more than two weeks probably less. It was ridiculous. Example 3 Less clothing more color.) So I was commission by someone on deviant art to do an OC character. Surprisingly it wasn't a pony. The character was humanoid with neon green hair, eye piercingly bright purple skin with neon pink stripes, all lined with more pink trimmings, oh and black wings. She also is wearing a black semi- revealing coat. So the description of what he wants is pretty vague. He wants her kneeling ready for battle. There is no description of background or lighting. When presented with such poor colors I do my best to...well make it look better. So I decide to place the picture at night and de-saturate the colors. I do a full color rough which I don't normally do and send it to him. Well he responds saying it looks good except two things, the colors need to be brighter and she's wearing too much. I say ok and adjust it so, trying my best to keep the colors from being blindly bright and adjust the coat to be more open showing more of her body. He responds back with the same feedback except this time he says loose the coat and give her a tight fitting top. I make the adjustments again. This time he responds by asking me if she can have no top at all and be in a more seductive pose with the pink part of her body glowing leading to her...well... more inappropriate regions. Well at this point I politely tell him I think it better he find someone else to do the image. Now I'm fresh out of college and I have even more to tell. Can you imagine what Lauren or any other artist has had to deal with especially when trying to pitch a show like say...Galaxy Girls? Really it seems crazy to me to imply the intention is addressing solely and specifically Hasbro rather than trying to impart a general life lesson. That is one census. I'm pretty sure the creator of that actually mentioned others and the differences between them. Is Cadence the least popular in the other ones? Heck there's also no knowing how well they represent the whole of the fandom. How many didn't participate in them for whatever reason. I unfortunately didn't have the time to participate this year. On a side note the dude who does that is an awesome dude, I met him. Oh I thought of an example of this from someone else which is very amusing. Its an example of how prevalent and insane this actually is. Its Kevin Smiths story of his time trying to work on the script for the canceled Tim Burton Superman movie. At about 5:10 he starts talking about the man in question John Peters.
  20. I would agree with Equestria Girls though for completely different reasons. Really when there is a subgroup that insults the production staff to the extent where they consider quitting it can be no less. Its nothing short of truly sickening. Truly the highest degree of irrationality and stupidity that subgroup has ever demonstrated. I will never understand their propensity to not only full judge a product yet to be released, but to insult production staff for doing their freaking jobs. Truly stupid or any synonym of the word is quite apt to describe such individuals. Second goes to Alicorn Twilight. Another case of fans judging a product before it was released. Believing wholeheartedly in a rumor that was obviously fabricated from already known info. Misrepresenting the words of Lauren Faust. When the episode finally released finding any little thing no matter how trivial to freak out about. Pretty freaking ridiculous.
  21. Well that's hard to say until we see the full product. I do get the feeling they were leaning towards a monster Highish design though. From the trailer though it seems like the human models lend themselves far more towards the fluid animation the show is known for than I expected them to.
  22. Pretty much this. Though I cant say if she really got upset by it. Though I do know she addressed certain things and some fans twisting words defiantly applies. http://derpicdn.net/media/W1siZiIsIjIwMTMvMDIvMDUvMDNfMjRfMDhfOTg1XzIzNDEzMV9fVU5PUFRfX3NhZmVfdGV4dF9tZXRhX2xhdXJlbl9mYXVzdF9mYXVzdGljb3JuX21lZ2hhbl9tY2NhcnRoeS5wbmcucG5nIl1d/234131__safe_text_meta_50f982c8a4c72de10300008f_lauren-faust_fausticorn_meghan-mccarthy.pngthis pic is a prime example which she addressed. Lauren said and I quote " I have no doubts that Meghan is doing her best to uphold the ideals brought to mlp this quote mash up is unfair" Unfair indeed. Taking two statements out of context to suit ones own needs is always as such.
  23. Most dislike the character designs. They defiantly look weird to me. However all the stuff you talked about before may indeed still be present or it may not. Its what really matters anyway. Are these characters true to who we know them to be? We don't know. Will they check out boys, go shopping or have tea parties? We don't know and were just gonna have to wait and see. I agree on the lack of diversity in the designs though not quite on the criticism of body type. I mean just look at how skinny the Galaxy girls are. The lack of diversity may have come about for the same reason the ponies all have the same body type. It saves time in animation. Though maybe there were other reasons.
  24. Well if Alicorns are what they seem to be in MMC then I have an idea. Though we cant say with certainty until their back-story is fleshed out. They may have been Pegasus, Earth ponies, or unicorns before their ascension. Unicorns seems the most likely candidate as it has been established unicorns used to collectively bring day and night. Even with that established its pretty hard to say for certain as pony genetics are pretty weird. Though considering it is suggested they existed at the time of Star Swirl the Bearded Id say their parents were also most likely both unicorns due to the conflict between the races.
  25. It is just a random thoughts vid, but yeah I agree this seems a pretty silly theory. At least for the moment. We are talking about a dude who can banish an entire race and city from reality for 1000 years, and wipe the memories of said race. It really seems odd the door would be the ultimate source of such magical powers when its only presented as one obstacle Twilight has to overcome. Not that its a petty one. I also have to concur with Anti-Villain that Sombra's looming presence may indicate his control of the power. There's also the fact that beyond the door lies traps he deliberately set. It is indicated that Sombra placed the Crystal heart there and set the trap as when said trap was sprung Sombra immediately knew of it.
