  1. No. As great as the house itself is, the location is not it. I'm so glad I left Oklahoma. I never plan to go back. It would be nice to have $10,000, but life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are more important and those are the reasons I left OK for a better state.
  2. There are at least a few McDonalds in my city. At least one of them is in walking distance, but I don't go there often at all.
  3. It's about a 20-25 minute walk to the closest big box grocery store, Price Chopper. It's a nice sized store with a lot (and nice potatoes!), but it's also a little more pricey than Walmart. There's also a Dollar General, about a similar distance.
  4. Zone out is a big one for me. I do it so easily that it's caused me to miss major scenes in movies, shows and the like just because my brain went somewhere else. I eventually caught myself doing it and I try to stop it or pause and rewind now when it happens. I also have tons and tons of physical habits. It's like I always must be moving in some fashion. That includes moving my leg up and down (which I'm doing right now lol), spinning my chair (slightly, not all of the way around), rocking back and forth, messing with my jewelry or grosser, destructive things such as picking my lips. Unfortunately the latter happens a lot and I find myself hurting my lips and wondering why in the world I even did it. Ugh.
  5. Probably I don't care. Depending on how grouchy I am, you may get "whatever".
  6. It's hot today. But it taking until April 19th to hit 80 is at least better than where I used to live, where it could hit 80 in the middle of flipping winter. Still, this is far too early for this heat by my standards. I don't like it.
  7. Wearing: Pajama top (with seashells on it!) and shorts Hair: Long and down Eating: Nothing ATM Drinking: Nothing ATM, but last thing I drank was Polar Blood Orange Lemonade sparkling water. Thinking: About going to bed. Feeling: Fine. Talking to: No one. Listening to: Classic soul Watching: Nothing ATM Loving: Life. Hating: How hot it will be tomorrow, the high prices and the extremely worrisome direction of my country. Wanting: To get a stable job soon and for the direction of my country to somehow change for the better. Waiting for: I'd say, but lets appreciate every day! Weather: In the low 50s. Time: 10:45 PM Hoping: Going back to my answer to "Wanting" Situation: It's time to go to bed.
  8. A week or so ago when my parents went back home. That's the last time I remember crying, but it definitely could have happened again after that for any reason. lol
  9. A lot of my plushies still haven't made the move, but hopefully someday soon! Here's what I have now (the right most unicorn and the wolf are the two that I actually brought with me on the move, the others I've gotten since lol)
  10. I like being alone. I need a lot of time to myself and it can be hard to convince me to leave my space. I'm a bit reclusive. But, to my credit, I took the initiative to join the community band in my new town. I like being alone, but also having no friends or acquaintances in the area whatsoever is too lonely for me. Music is the only hobby I have that gets me out of my apartment, so I went with it. (and of course, I love music, so...) But ultimately I do truly thrive in my space with just my dog and I.
  11. Definitely writing. I was not prepared for academic writing at all when I entered college. It was not for lack of my ability, as I became quite skilled at it quickly, but before I got there I was doing horribly. The "papers" I had to write in high school were nothing like what I had to write starting in college. It was night and day and threw me for a loop.
  12. Woke up to snow on the ground! The forecast showed it, but I still didn't believe it would happen, but it did. Yay!
  13. I'm a millennial and I eat cereal every morning!
  14. Not a lot going on for mine. I just moved into this apartment not long ago and don't even have a lot of my stuff... but I do have my desktop, so I'm happy! =D
  15. Well, MLP ponies aren't very horselike really, so you don't have to feel too weird about it. An example I have for me is the fact that I find horror and morbidity absolutely disturbs me greatly, and yet I love British (and some early American) Folk music that is very morbid and disturbing. These songs can be so graphic and grim that I can imagine someone would look at me funny for listening to them if they listened to the lyrics... And yet I have no problem with any of it. This is such a weird contradiction for me. I suppose it's easier to stomach Folk because it's music and not visually graphic. But still... I find it bizarre that I can stomach these songs regardless. Some examples:
  16. Yeah, totally agree on the NSO. Holding classic games behind a subscription is something I have strongly disagreed with from the beginning. This doesn't happen with like any other kind of media. Like for music you can choose to buy albums and songs/pieces individually or you can subscribe to a service like Spotify. There's no reason that Nintendo can't sell titles individually along with offering a subscription service. The only reason I could think that they wouldn't do it is when they introduced that upper tier of NSO years ago that included N64 games. Subscribing to that service would have been pointless for me if I could buy the N64 games I wanted individually (I never got that tier of NSO either way because it's not worth it even for the N64 games. Way to go, Nintendo), so I think it's as you said - Nintendo wants to make you subscribe to NSO to get the games and if you can buy them individually they can't do that. That sucks. They should let us purchase individually. In my ideal world, they would not only do that, but allow us to transfer our VC games to each new system. That was the one frustrating aspect about VC - knowing that my purchases wouldn't carry over to the next system. But gosh darn it, the Switch would have been the perfect system for me to do VC purchases regardless due to being both handheld and console, and also being very comfortable (IMO) to play in handheld mode (sooo much better than the 3DS), but nope. No VC. =(
  17. Not super excited about the Switch 2 itself, but am pleased that it's being launched with a new Mario Kart. I would love to get it immediately, but that's not at all likely between my financial situation and the dumpster fire that is my country's government. I hoped to get a SteamDeck before Nintendo's next system, but again, with the way things are, I may have to go for Switch 2 because of it having exclusive games. =(
  18. You and I both know what you said here is just a deflection.
  19. I am like 5'4" or 5'5". IDK. It's a perfectly average height, so I'm happy with it.
  20. A nice day with overcast skies and temperatures in the mid 40s.
  21. Went to the coast with my parents. We found some really neat seashells!
  22. My name is fine! It's relatively common, but not so common that I'm often surrounded by others with my name. The only thing is that people always mishear it as another similar name so I'm always having to spell it.
  23. Noooo. I hate it! Make it stopppp!!! Why does winter end so fast?
  24. I finally got my desktop PC in my new apartment! (it's been like nine months!) I also got a nice new monitor. It's bigger than my last one and is a smart monitor that can be controlled with a remote control from my bed and I can watch stuff on it like it's a TV from my bed. It's blowing me away. lol
