"I'm going to be late, I just know it!" Midnight exclaimed as he ran through the streets of Canterlot, only just recently finding the castle where he suspected the archives to be. He remembered earlier that day, he had been tending to his house in the Everfree Forest, patching it up after a recent timberwolf attack, when a letter just fell from the sky. Midnight had been more perplexed when he saw that the letter was addressed to him, even though he had never told anypony where he lived. The letter had said: Dear Midnight Sky, You have been selected to go on an important mission. To learn about this go to Canterlot and meet a small red alicorn and ask him, Could you take me to the to the Canterlot archives wing B and he will take you to a part of the archives where you will learn about the mission. Princess Luna which surprised him more to learn that the Equestrian Princess of the Night had chosen him for a mission. Midnight had then left the household in the care of his sister, ran to catch the train in Ponyville, and now found himself completely lost in Canterlot, a city which reminded him too much of his past. He didn't even remember getting into the castle grounds yet here he was, and now he was looking for the archives. Turning around a corner Midnight saw an earth pony run straight into a door. 'Somepony must have somewhere important to be. I wonder if maybe meeting a red alicorn at the behest of a princess is involved. I think I'll just follow him and find out, can't get any more lost than I already am.' For a second Midnight Sky thought he glimpsed a red alicorn looking at the earth pony who had hit the door, but it disappeared so quickly he just dismissed it as a illusion made by his anxious mind.

Since it's taking so long for this RP to get going, could I join with my OC Midnight Sky(link is in my sig)?

This looks like it could be interesting, why not. I'll use Midnight Sky(link in my sig), it would be interesting to see him have to work as a team with ponies he doesn't know.

Not necessarily, I'm on a couple other forums that do show your gender(they put it under the avatar) and not once have I seen any gender based bias brought up. That said, if it were to happen it would just be reported and warning points would be given.
