  1. Hey... It's been so long ever since my last post. I should visit these forums more often too Anyway, this is my current desktop. Original picture: Derpibooru link
  2. PC Game Boy Advance (original) Nintendo 64 (two of them) I'd like to save up for a PS Vita later just to be able to emulate some other retro consoles too. I used to own a GameCube and a Game Boy Pocket not very long ago.
  3. My list of underrated games would be like: Metroid II: Return of Samus Mortal Kombat 4 Super Mario Bros. 2 Catrap/Pitman (Game Boy) But I would also like to mention the original Super Smash Bros for the N64. Nowadays everyone talks about Melee or Ultimate, so much that the original Smash has faded away and/or not being played anymore. Smash 64 is my favorite Smash, and personally I think it deserves more attention due to its unique combos and mechanics that differ from other Smash games. And in my opinion it is the most balanced game in the series (coming from a competitive point of view).
  4. I was like 13 years old when I got my first computer, around 2005 I think. It was an Intel Celeron 1.8 GHz with 128 MB of RAM (minus 32 MB of integrated video memory) and 40 GB of storage. It had Windows XP as the main OS, though there was a time where it got downgraded to Windows Me cuz it ran a bit slow with XP (many of the applications were still compatible with Me at the time, so it wasn't much of a problem). It eventually got XP again and was upgraded to a 3.33 GHz CPU with 1 GB of RAM.
  5. Right now it's "The Spectacle" from the official show.
  6. If your PC can't keep up anymore with modern apps or games, or if the upgrade options for your motherboard are limited or no longer viable, then I guess it's time for a new computer. Personally, I haven't had the need to buy a newer computer because it's still running fast and covers all my needs. I've been using the same PC since like 2015 (i3-4160 3.60 GHz + 8 GB of RAM), but before I bought it, I was looking for something that had decent single-core performance so that it could keep up with modern apps in the future and games/emulators that depended mostly on one or two cores. I don't think I'll be buying a new computer in some more time unless one of the essential components like the Motherboard or the CPU dies. In fact, I plan to upgrade the RAM to its maximum capacity (16 GB) just to have a slight performance increase and work with Windows VMs without performance drops.
  7. Main computer: CPU: Intel Core i3-4160 @ 3.6 GHz RAM: 8 GB DDR3 1600 MHz (soon to be 16 GB) GPU: [Integrated] Intel HD Graphics 4400 HDD: 1TB Toshiba SATA 6.0 Gb/s Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H81M-H (Rev. 1.0) OS: Debian 10 64-bits I might consider getting an external GPU for this PC later. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400 runs pretty well on Linux though. It even supports the latest OpenGL with Mesa and it has been very responsive for the things I do. Old PC: CPU: Intel Pentium 4 HT 651 @ 3.4 GHz RAM: 1.5 GB DDR 333 MHz HDD: 61.5 GB IDE Motherboard: Asrock 775i65gv OS: Lubuntu 18.04 x64 + Windows Me (dual boot) No external GPU either (it's using the integrated Intel graphics with 96 MB). I like this one mainly for playing old Windows and DOS games, but I also have it as a secondary PC in case my main computer gets broken or becomes irreparable. It's working fine even to this day.
  8. Out of all the games that I've played, only a few made me so addicted even to this day: Super Smash Bros. (N64). I remember when I first played that game with my brother and friends, when I was just a child and became addicted to it so quickly. I do still play it to this day, but online and competitively. Although playing casually is a lot of fun too, I just can't get rid of that game Another game is Yu-Gi-Oh Forbidden Memories. A pain to beat, but after that you can continue from the start, with all the stuff you had before, and still get better monsters. And I remember being addicted to Pokémon too. These are the type of games that you can continue playing and still get better after beating.
  9. Since I don't watch TV often, I only have a Philips CRT TV (flat) that I use when I want to hook my computer and display the image on it. I don't know the exact dimensions but it's like 29", and it's way too heavy The good thing is that it has s-video input, which produces a very clear image.
  10. Been delayed with the show a little, but at least the S6 episodes are now available in my region.

  11. I said in my latest post that I might consider getting a 4DE plush later. And yep, I just got a 4DE Dashie from a local near where I got Flutters, yay! I like how it's almost the same size as my other plushies too. I thought at first that they were smaller, but no, Awesome
  12. Sagittarius (November 24, right after Scorpio I guess) Not sure if I really act like one or not, but I'm happy with it. And I'm apparently a Goat in the Chinese zodiac. I read about it and I can agree 100%
  13. Yeah, I don't think it's the best XFCE distro either, but it's definitely one of the more stable Ubuntu flavors I have tried. I've used Manjaro too, I like the fact that it's based on Arch and can use the AUR too, also rolling. Probably I'm going to install it on my netbook once I figure out how to use the graphics driver.
  14. I found this comic on Derpibooru. Loved Pinkie's expression in there and I made it an avatar. By looking at the amount of Pinkie Pie pics I've uploaded, I think she's "secretly" my favorite pony
  15. Hmm. For some odd reason my whole profile information got deleted somehow... (all with my PPT, history, etc.) :/

That did it! I forgot about my older name. I was looking for yoshi-fan-gm but that wasn't archived. Thank you so much! ^^ (and I thought I was the only one who was hit by that XD)

  16. It's a very addictive game actually, and I'm not a "fan" of the card game. I used to play it when I was young too. Currently I'm trying to get more decent cards in free duels. Back to the main topic, I beat supertux yesterday (a free, open-source game based on Super Mario). Not bad for a free alternative, but it's somewhat short.
  17. Just finished Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories a few days ago. It's very hard to beat the final bosses but glad they didn't pick up their strongest cards in the first turn Still playing it for fun though.
  18. Personally I use Antergos Linux on my main desktop computer. Switched from Xubuntu 14.04 because I wanted to try something new, and newer software too. Switched back to Xubuntu recently. Arch's pacman and the AUR are just awesome But I came to the conclusion that I like LTS distros better. I still use Xubuntu on my netbook tho, but without 3D acceleration because Linux only provides 2D accel for the GMA 3600. Good thing that it still can use the CPU for heavier tasks.
  19. Since Super Smash Brothers is the only "fighting" game series that I play, I can only think of Kirby (from SSB64) being somewhat broken in that game. His up-tilt can easily break a shield and punish the opponent, and his recovery is amazing, being only worse than Pikachu's. Meta Knight in Brawl has also been considered broken by many. He even was banned for a time in tournaments but I don't play Brawl very often.
  20. Said and done. Since I didn't buy it at a convention, it cost me a little bit more, but I absolutely adore it like my other plushes There were 4DE plushes as well... although expensive. Might consider getting one of those later.
  21. I only know 2 bronies that also live in my region, but we actually met in a comic con. Outside of cons, however, I've only seen 1 random brony when commuting to work.
  22. When I re-watched the episode, I noticed that Rainbow was missing a part of her ear and a wing (she has a metal one) during King Sombra's reign. It just creeps me out :S But overall I loved this finale! Good to see Chrysalis and Sombra again..
  23. There are no pony conventions in my region, but I've gone to several anime conventions this year and in 2013 because they also have pony stuff and bronies are also there. In fact, this last convention was so bronycon-like because John De Lancie was there, and the latin voices of RD, AJ and Fluttershy as well
  24. I turned 24 last tuesday, which was November 24. Also it's been 2 years since I became a brony. Time goes so fast...
