Before I became a brony, in the drama club at my school we were organizing a live, improvised soap opera (it's improvised but we still come up with the characters beforehand), and one of the characters was named "Rainbow Sparkle." I don't remember for sure who suggested the the name, but I'm pretty sure it was me who did. But like I said, I wasn't a brony and had no idea at the time that "Rainbow" and "Sparkle" were both parts of names of ponies.

Dude... if this "Pony Bot" is ever actually accomplished... you can count me in on buying one! By the way, you sound kind of like a mad scientist talking about all this, but not that that's a bad thing! I just mean, like, in terms of your enthusiasm towards a project of such large scope, I don't mean to imply you're crazy. And I think even if your pony bots don't get super successful, if they are well made enough, and you're careful enough that Hasbro doesn't shut you down, you could probably find a good amount of people willing to buy them. I think it sounds like an awesome idea. And man, a My Little Pony theme park would be SO awesome!!! Gaaahhhh, I want this to be a thing so much now!

I hope it's good... Apparently there's going to be more songs in it than the last movie or in any single MLP episode, and I think those songs being good or not could make or break this movie.

That's a good idea, her running a different school. It makes sense, too. Though I can see how she could be a student, since Twilight is also an alicorn yet she turned into a student. But then it's also plausible that she could have a role in Celestia's school, like someone mentioned a guidance councilor. Ahhhh, I just don't know...

I wouldn't go with Charlotte Rarity; I think Rarity is a perfectly fine name! Seriously, I'm not joking. A lot of people now will tell you it's a bad idea and it will lead to the child being bullied or teased. This is ridiculous; there is a chance that your kid will get teased for her name no matter what name you give her unless it's something really really common and plain, but if you don't want to go with a plain, boring name, then so long as the name isn't REALLY out there, I don't think an unusual name like "Rarity" is a problem. Here's what happens when people find out someone's name is really unusual and something they haven't heard before: they think it's weird at first, for the first little bit, but very quickly after getting to know the person they'll associate the name with the person. So when they hear "Rarity" they won't think "that's an unusual name," they'll instead think of that girl, because they've associated the name with her in their minds. This is of course all assuming that the person isn't familiar with MLP. If they are, then they might think of the pony at first before associating the girl with the name. They also might think it's really weird that you named a kid after a pony. But there's only going to be a few people who think that, and who cares what they think! The vast majority of people who hear your girl's name will either not be familiar with MLP and think "that's an unusual name" at first, until they get used to it, which will not take very long, trust me, or they will be familiar with the show and think it's really cool that you named a kid after one of the characters or they'll think it's weird but they won't care after they get to know how awesome and cool your kid is (assuming she turns out to be awesome and cool). So try suggesting just "Rarity" to your girlfriend. See if she likes it. If not, maybe see if you can get her to accept it as a middle name.

If there is ever a religion based on Celestia, it should be called Celestism, not bronyism. Unless you are actually worshiping the brony fandom, lol. By the way, I think a religion based on MLP, with Celestia as God, would not work as well (well, frankly, I don't think it would work at all) as a philosophy based on the elements of harmony. That's something that could actually be thought out well and applied to one's daily life and not involve worshiping a fictional character.

This is definitely a very special show. I'm happy for you, and I totally get what you're saying about this show making you feel happy, and happy for the characters. It makes me happy too

I was at a comic book store, and they had some MLP toys and the most recent issue of the MLP comics, which I bought, but it wasn't really embarrassing because the girl at the register was actually wearing an MLP shirt! I was quite glad. Also, the store owner was there and saw me buying the stuff, but he told me not to feel bad because there's a lot of people who come in and buy this stuff, I'm not the only one. So that was really nice of him, trying to make sure I didn't feel uncomfortable or embarrassed about buying this stuff, although I wouldn't actually have felt embarrassed anyways. The only way I'd feel really embarrassed/awkward about buying pony merch would be if someone I knew that didn't know I was a brony and wasn't inclined to be totally understanding of that kind of stuff saw me buying pony stuff; this hasn't happened, and I hope it doesn't in the future, but if it does, whatever, I'll just say with dignity, yeah, I like My Little Pony, it's awesome. Deal with it.
