It was early 2013 when some friends kept talking about it and I got curious, I was especially intrigued by Discord so the very first episodes I ever watched were Return of Harmony parts 1 and 2. After that I was hooked, went back and started from the beginning, fell in love with Fluttershy (not literally) and the rest is history. I was in denial for a long time though and honestly felt a little ashamed of my new obsession. I remember when I posted some of my first FiM sketches on DeviantART, I kept poking fun at myself for watching the show and enjoying it so much that I felt the desire to draw fan art in the first place. Ah well, that's in the past. No shame now. I've accepted the title of brony and wear it proudly. I have Fluttershy and Dr Whooves on the car, Discord on my keys and Rainbow Dash on my wallet. Yep. No shame.

You make a good point there, that's a big double standard for a lot of people. A younger boy crushing on an older girl is acceptable but reverse it and people get up in arms about it. Hell you see it a lot in real life, ex: female teacher has an affair with an underage boy and you'll see comments like "what a lucky guy!" but reverse it with a male teacher and an underage girl and oh hell no. It's wrong either way.

Haha, so I am! I guess trying to overcome my shyness is paying off.

I guess I'm kind of invading here since I identify as agender... But honestly I don't even notice gender when I login and I've certainly (thankfully) never encountered any sexism on these forums. Whether you want to call yourself a brony or a pegasister, we're all equal here and I think that's pretty awesome!

This is probably one of the more normal ships in the fandom, to be honest. Plus Spike does have a legit crush on Rarity and like someone else said, one-sided love can be kind of adorable. Sure the age difference is odd but maybe it's not such a big deal in Equestria? At any rate, people are gonna ship what they want.

A trilogy would be pretty sweet but I'm doubtful it would happen...then again you never know. Wouldn't it be cool of the MLP movie(s) rivaled the likes of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings? XD As long as it's done right and they give us at least one quality movie with a good story -- and ponies, not humans -- I'm happy.

I don't really want any of them to have coltfriends but I'd guess Twilight Sparkle too because she seems to be the pony the show focuses on the most and, yes, because of Flash Sentry. But I do hope I'm wrong about that (I don't like Flash...)

Yep, I remember the D&D cartoon show too! Presto, Sheila, Hank and Uni all appeared in the board game as hero cards and figurines. Here's Uni's figurine: In "Secret of My Excess" Spike's growth was brought about by his greed, I don't think growing up naturally would make him stop caring about his friends.

Spike in the previous generations isn't exactly the same Spike we have in FiM, even though the name is the same. G1 Spike had a different story altogether and honestly I never watched much of the generations inbetween but I'm sure they were different too. I wouldn't mind seeing current Spike grow up a little. Same goes for the CMC, it'd be interesting to see them finally get their cutie marks. For the record I still think G1 Spike had the cutest voice! PS: I love your icon! Uni from Fantasy Forest right? That was my favorite board game as a kid.

I think I've got a pretty bad (good?) addiction to MLP. I've watched every single episode (some of them multiple times), I've read fan fictions, watched fan videos and PMVs (and made my own), drawn my share of fan art and have a small (but growing) collection. Hell even my wallet has Rainbow Dash on it and I wore my Discord lanyard to a New Years party as a necklace. Yeah, I think it's safe to say I'm infected with the pony bug.

I'm not very picky about the genre as long as it's well done! I love catchy tunes that get stuck in my head and I fully support emotional music that helps tell a story, too. "You'll Play Your Part" gave me so many feels.

No new posts on this thread since December!? Soo, I got my first Funko pop mini mystery figurines for Christmas and the VERY first one I opened was -- What are the chances!? I was so happy I almost fell out of my chair. Sure it's the black paint variant, but it's still Discord!
