  1. Twinkies are so specific. There are countless different kinds of brownies. Brownies. Twinkies are overrated af.
  2. I disable it on sites that I want to support. It's working for me on Firefox too.
  3. That depends on what the party is actually like. Yeah, that works too.
  4. I suppose you could try putting up a few polls and surveys on the forum, but this is just one website. If you want to study the fandom as a whole, use multiple sources. To be honest, I would completely avoid talking about the fanfictions. Too much weird shit.
  5. I currently have Manjaro on my laptop, and I like it well enough. It looks good, it came pre-loaded with steam, it's based on Arch Linux, but it sets alot of it up for you, making it more noob friendly. I would use Arch, I just don't think I'd be tech savvy enough to set it all up.
  6. If it is a truly heinous crime, and there is indisputable proof, then I think that we should remove the perpetrator from society altogether. Unfortunately, putting them to sleep tends cost more than feeding them for the rest of their life, simply because have to go through such a long process to actually execute them.
  7. I have a mixture of conservative and liberal views, but I despise most politicians. I specifically hate America's two-party system. Both parties have to disagree on LITERALLY EVERYTHING. Since we have an even number of parties, there is never a majority rule. It's nothing but gerrymandering and polarization; therefore, nothing ever gets done. A 3 or 5 party system would work much better, and I honestly think that even a one-party system would be the best overall.
  8. Dark Souls has much more fun gameplay mechanics in my opinion. It's really not that hard, just unforgiving. If you know what you're doing, keep a level head, and don't get cocky, you can beat the game easily. I love the way the integrate co op and pvp with the singleplayer game, the way they did factions, and the scenery is just gorgeous. Skyrim got boring to me after a while, the game is so simplified from the previous elder scrolls games. There is no attribute system, most of the choices you make in the game don't really matter, there's way too many fetch quests, and the weapon design is awful. I like how most of the weapons and armor are relatively on par with each other in dark souls, because they all have their own set of perks and disadvantages, some of them are faster than the others, some deal status effects like poison or blood loss. Instead of just advancing up a tier of better and better weapons like skyrim, any weapon and armor set can be used throughout the entire game. Hell, you can play through the entire game half-naked, because that makes you a lot more mobile, and you can carry much heavier weapons without sacrificing your mobility. Speaking of equipment, most of the weapons and armor in DS look like something that would actually be useful. like the basic rapier It's not excessively large or flashy, and would be useful in a combat situation, but then there's this thing. Also rapiers are awesome The fuck is this? It's bad enough the rest of the swords look like paddles, but this is just stupid. Having a curved sword (...curved... sword.) is one thing, but this is all jagged. It looks like it's either been used A LOT, or it's just really poorly made. And where's the hilt? If you crossed blades with this thing, your hand would be chopped off. Also the armor. Dark souls has its share of weird-looking armor sets, but most of them are realistic looking, this is one of the heavier armor sets in DS. This is what really heavy armor should look like. It has plating in all the right places, one could move enough in this armor set to stay effective, and it has ample head protection. Now let's look at the heaviest armor set in skyrim. All those spikes, why? that would get hung on things all the time, actually putting it on would be a nightmare. moving your arm to the side would result in that gigantic spike clanging against your helmet. Speaking of the helmet, what's up with the eyes? Why are there two giant holes for someone to stick a blade or arrow through? Ok, now that I'm done with my rant on the aesthetics of the games, I'll actually talk about the gameplay. The biggest thing Dark Souls has over Skyrim is the combat system. In Dark Souls, there are a lot of things you have to consider in combat. How heavily armed and armored both you and your opponent are, and how quick you both are. If an enemy is blocking, wait for him to attack, and either block or dodge his attack, and then attack when he recovers from a miss or from a stagger. If the enemy won't lower his shield, break his guard with a kick. You can parry an enemy's attack and riposte for massive damage, you can maneuver around them and stab them in the back for massive damage, there are a variety of spells items you can apply to both melee and ranged combat. If you are low on health, step back and chug an estus flask, if you don't step back far enough, your enemy will take advantage of the opening you've given them. The bosses actually feel like bosses. They are all uniquely designed, they all have their own set of devastating attacks that you have to memorize and work your way around, they all have their own unique music, and beating them actually feels like an accomplishment. In skyrim, most of the combat boils down to hitting the enemy as fast as you can so that they die before you do, and pausing and chugging a bunch of potions when you are low on health, and that gets old really fast. However, I will admit that being a stealth character in skyrim is hella fun. The main advantages skyrim has over dark souls is its immense lore, variety of races, and the fact that you can completely ignore the main quest, and go do whatever the hell you want. Some of the factions aren't as interesting as they used to be, and some of them don't seem to matter. For example, there is very little difference between the stormcloak and imperial questlines, and when you kill the emperor for the dark brotherhood, there is almost no effect on the rest of the world except for a few dialog options. The emperor is not involved in any other quests, killing him doesn't lock you out from anything. Hell, you can kill the emperor and immediately join his army with no problem. Most of the people you assassinate for the dark brotherhood are useless, and getting rid of them has no real effect on the game. There are really fun factions, however. The thieves guild questline is the fucking best, and despite my complaints, I really enjoyed the dark brotherhood questline. I think I'm done. There's alot more that I could talk about but I've already typed WAAAAAY more than I planned to. I am open to discussion with anyone who has the patience to read this long-ass post.
  9. None, this fandom is already enough of a shitstorm. We don't need another for a very long time.
  10. I'm mostly a PC gamer, but I also like playing 3DS and Xbox 360 games with my friends.
  11. I watched The Iceman with my grandmother.
  12. I chuckled, mostly because of their reactions. I didn't think it was that creepy.
  13. Galaxy S3. blue and black. with a thick blue and black case to match.
  14. I've been waiting for 5 years now. It's killing me. I've streamed every E3 since 2013, and the ONLY reason I've done so is the slim chance that they might reveal Fallout 4 there. If they actually do reveal it this year, I will probably just start screaming.\ There's a good chance that they will reveal a new fallout game at E3 2015, all the signs are there: It's been 4 years since the last BethSoft game, and Todd Howard confirmed that they've been working on their "New Game" since 2010, a five year development cycle is pretty standard for Bethsoft. They're changed the Fallout 3 logo on their official site to just "Fallout". That might seem small, but that logo's been there for years, they'd only change it if something big's about to happen. There's also the fact that this will be the first time Bethesda has their very own E3 conference, meaning that they'll almost certainly make a huge announcement this year. If it's not Fallout, we riot.
  15. "I take death threats as compliments." It was my senior quote, I regret nothing. Basically, if someone wants me dead, then I'm doing something right with my life. Or something really wrong, either one works for me.
  16. It's really hard for me to pick a single favorite out of all the bands I like, but Black Sabbath would be my most likely choice. 3. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath - I love the structure of the song, Ozzy's vocals are top notch, and the lyircs really speak to me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUN-AZ5T294 2. Children of The Grave - Despite being one of their more simplistic songs, it's catchy as hell, and has powerful lyrics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjF6npZDAgg 1. War Pigs - I love every song on the "Paranoid" album to death, so it was really hard to pick just one. I say War Pigs because of its iconic riff, the instrumental skill, and its anti-war lyrics. Anti-war songs are my favorite. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nxgtk_3qwXw
  17. Despite metal being my favorite genre of music, the acoustic guitar is a much better instrument than the electric guitar IMO. It's more portable, I like the way it sounds and feels, and acoustic instruments in general are cool.
  18. Starvation is an extremely slow, painful death. Drowning may be scary, yes, but it's very quick an painless by comparison.
  19. For some reason, I can't get enough of Twilight's temporary hairstyle in S5E3. I like it so much it made me want to come back to this forum from a long absence just to post about it. Anyone else feel the same way? Not really sure if this counts as a spoiler, tagged it just to be safe.
  20. I'll be honest, the only reason I liked it was because of this.
  21. Rhythm guitarist. I'm not good enough to play awesome solos ...yet
