I am such a strange sleeper... First I need to have a minimum of 2 blankets (one to go on top of my body, the other on top of my arms so they aren't touching me..) and 2 pillows (one for under my head, and the other for between my legs so my legs aren't touching..i'm a side sleeper).. I also cannot wear pants or socks or to bed or I can't sleep... if I feel pressure to fall asleep (like I want to take a nap, and I only have an hour) there is no point in even trying because I will NOT fall asleep, I need it to be as quiet as possible, and most noises will wake me up once I fall asleep... once all these conditions are met, it'll take me at least half an hour to fall asleep, sometimes up to an hour... I don't sleep well at all, which is pretty crappy cause I used to be a heavy sleeper who could sleep through anything... In order to sleep better at night I usually smoke a bowl before bed, and it seems to help me sleep longer, and wake up more refreshed.
