  1. Yes, the designs are jarring and feel out of place. However, I think that's what Pixar was going for. This is an alternate world where the dinosaurs didn't go extinct. They exist in a time that they shouldn't be alive in. And The Main character, Arlo stands out the most because of his design, which coincides with the fact that he starts off as an outcast. But that's just me.
  2. For those of you who are especially curious, on August 14, D23 has a panel on The Good Dinosaur, Finding Dory, and other upcoming stuff.
  3. Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation - Probably the most fun I've had at the movies all this summer. The action was amazing and tense, Tom Cruise and Simon Pegg have great chemistry, and the humor was very well written.
  4. This may shape up to be just like Teen Titans Go! Except they don't have the Voice Actors from the original show for marquee value.
  5. - Angel (Although it at least ended on a high note) - Most Marvel animated shows (I.E. Wolverine and The X-Men, Avengers : Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Spectacular Spider-Man, Etc.) That's just off the top of my head.
  6. I'm right with you on this. Now, I like the minions, but I'm getting sick of seeing them everywhere I look. Toys and commercials are one thing, but business tie-ins, Facebook memes, Snack foods, and shipping boxes are just excessive.
  7. Canadian Workplace PSAs. You know, the ones where they show violent freak accidents at the work place.
  8. I imagine it will have less dialogue than Pixar's other films, kind of like Wall-E.
  9. Well, Disney only used Pixar as a crutch in the early to mid 2000s.
  10. Pixar's made movies about Toys, Monsters, and Fish, it makes you wonder why they didn't get to Dinosaurs sooner.
  11. Yes, it is. Funnily enough, this movie was supposed to come out last May.
  12. They're good when it comes to Instruments.
  13. That being said, I'd rather listen to "Photograph" than hear "All about that Bass" for the 500th time.
  14. Because they're basically a business decision. Almost their songs follow a specific marketing formula. This video should offer a better explanation:
  15. Although a teaser trailer came a month ago, Pixar has released a full trailer for their next film, The Good Dinosaur, which will hit theaters on November 25. It doesn't reveal much of the plot, but features some dazzling animation.
  16. Seeing Finding Nemo back in 2003. To this day, I can recall the drive to the theater, and arguing with my cousins which one of us was which character.
  17. Grace Randolph from Beyond The Trailer and Movie Math. Not only are her movie reviews biased, but she complains about petty nitpicks and acts like her opinion, minority or majority is fact. Don't get me started on how hypocritical she is. For example, she calls the director of Guardians of the Galaxy sexist, yet gives Michael Bay a free pass.
  18. Yes, yes it is. It had some things working for it, like the atmosphere, but for the most part, it was a very poorly made film.
  19. After watching The Gallows, I can safely say that the found footage genre has become stale. There's no tension or suspense, it's just cheap jump scares (poorly thought-out ones I might add). Most Found Footage horror movies aren't meant to be good horror movies, or good movies in general, they're made for profit. They might be bad, but because they're so cheap, they're guaranteed to make their budgets back on opening weekend.
  20. Considering that it's made $91 Million in its Opening Weekend, I think that's agreeable.
  21. While I thought that Lava (the short) was alright, I'm in the same boat as you witgh the movie. It was funny, exctiting, had plenty of heart, and was relatable. I hope to see it again in theaters and I look forward to the inevitable pony crossovers .
  22. For those of you who have officially seen what he looks like, what are your thoughts?
  23. Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while but,the Movie Was Recently Shown At The Cannes Film Festival, and they LOVED IT! It currently sits at 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, and reviews are very positive. Check it out .
  24. Rocket Power: While there's nothing offensive or mean spirited in it, it's a very dated product of the 90's, when people tried to hard ro make cartoons EXTREME.
