I think it's been implied. I'm pretty sure it was already said that season 5 was going to be 26 episodes long. -
Well, back on April 27th, Amy Keating Rogers said she was leaving the show and had 4 scripts left in season 5 before she's gone. That leads me to believe that they weren't done writing season 6 at that point. Could they still finish season 6 for later in 2015 if the writing portion wasn't finished before May? How quick is their production schedule?

This will be one of the great episodes of the series. I only wish all the writing was this good. The fact that she was oblivious to all of this shows that she still has weak spots. -

I think you hit the nail on the head. As Pinkie said in Pinkie Pride, "Parties are serious." She takes her job throwing parties, to make people smile and have fun, very seriously. Pinkamena plans the party, but Pinkie hosts the party. It makes me happy not because I hear Pinkie singing to me to make me happy, but because I relate so much to Pinkie's point of view. -
Pinkie and Fluttershy would be interesting. The seem quite opposite in terms of extroversion versus introversion. Maybe it'd be a either a tempered version of Pinkie Pie or a bolder version of Fluttershy.

When you listen to the lyrics in The Smile Song, do you hear them from Pinkie's point of view of trying to make someone else smile, or from the point of view of someone that Pinkie is trying to make smile. I hear them from Pinkie's point of view. For reference, the song with lyrics on screen:

Yeah, I've cried a bunch of times watching mlp. It feels good not to hold back any emotion. In Friendship is Magic, Part 2, I teared up a little when I first heard the Laughter Song because I had once had the same life philosophy and the same approach to "shadows" since I was young that had been forgotten and tossed away for about 7 years. And right there, in the span of about a minute, it was all coming back to me. It was a shock. It was like I was remembering how to laugh. I couldn't help but cry a little. Then I cried when the Mane 5 are climbing the stairs and Twilight gets the spark and going through that whole sequence. This is the point in watching the show I'm like, "What wrong with you? This is supposed to be for kids," but it reminded me how much value I've always placed on friendship and that friendship is important, even when I would try to be cool and unaffected. It made me realize that I needed to try to reconnect with people after pushing people away. I also got a little misty from Luna's face in this series of screencaps: I'm just a sentimental guy. -
She has the best expressions without even going for cute. I bet she blows the rest of the mane 6 away in the facial expression category. Of course a cute one too.

I don't dislike Spike. I dislike how he's usually written in Spike episodes. He's had good moments; I think he's got potential.
