    I don’t know of any active pony artist communities myself, especially not one with fellow Australian ones but I hope you find what you’re looking for!

    I make do posting here and on DeviantArt which I’ll do until I’ve improved a bit.

    Stay on the opposite side of the fence. I grew up around horses and they can be very temperamental and unpredictable. If you aren’t use to being around them it is best to keep a big fence between you and them.

    I feel oddly calm I do have a bit of work ahead of me moving into a new place and I thought I might feel nervous or some kind of emotion but I’m just glad things are working out, so very calm and at ease for the time being. I wish you all well!

    I’m back but not back-back just yet.

    The big news is I’ll be moving into a new apartment over the next 2 weeks and sorting out all of my belongings, this means no computer until I’m set up again. ^_^

    I confess I have yet to buy any music but I do hope to change that soon with some cassette purchases from bands I really like.

    The day this thread was created I was standing next to a colleague and unlocked my phone to check a work email, well wouldn’t you know I was using discord last and was in a pony art channel, pretty sure said colleague caught a glimpse of someone’s Sunset Shimmer fan art 😅 There are also probably dozens of people who have heard me blasting MLP music in my car with the windows down, can’t help it!

    How's it goin' artists I'm at an early stage in learning art where my results are sometimes alright but never as deliberate or repeatable as I hope for in the future. I'm starting this thread for discussion, critique and guidance with hopes to improve my art skills and increase the time I commit to drawing, I could never take offence to anything constructive so please don't be afraid to offer some advice or point out some mistakes I make along the way, I only stand to benefit form the feedback I've looked at some tutorials and such for constructing the forms of head so that I might be able to draw one from any orientation though I don't yet feel I've grasped the concept, drawing the muzzle well reliably is proving to be a really big hurdle for me, especially when getting more dynamic than a side view I've been trying to draw at a 3/4 ish view because that's what the majority of references are and it seems relatively easy though I must say the muzzle / Jaw are still particularly tricky. The shading is shall we say... haphazard. Advice on ears would also be really appreciate I'm not quite sure how to connect them to the head from certain angles. I guess I don't really know how they work at all. Cheers!

    obviously you are not obligated to share those details nor obligated to answer this question but for those who choose to not disclose this general information what is your reasoning behind it? this is an amazing supportive community for both men and women who happen to find themselves fans of the show my little pony (provided they are over thirteen as is stated in the forum rules) so i don't quite understand the motivation behind being so secretive unless you are under thirteen ya sneaky bugger

    right now i have a bunch of things i want to do but i just dont have any motivation to do them so i decided to ask this question in hopes i might find a scores of inspiration and motivation consuming music i usually just get distracted and listen as appose to doing any work :c but yea what inspires you guys, id like to know
