  1. I think the whole series proves SoarinDash is not canon. But, who says you need your ship to be canon to enjoy it?
  2. I always thought that this was all about things shown on screen, that's why I didn't count those two.
  3. I'm still not sure about the one about Twilight's food joke, but I guess that's a no... Anyways, here's my bingo card:
  4. I started watching ponies at the end of 2016, all I can say is that I am very happy that I decided to start. I'm thankful for all of the work put in this beautiful show. I'm thankful for all of the people who liked to share and discuss their thoughts on the show and episodes, I've enjoyed reading and writing my own opinions about FiM a whole lot on this site. I'm extremely thankful for all the artists sharing their own perspective on the show and characters. What an amazingly creative fandom this is!
  5. Now that I have watched the last episodes of the series, I can happily say that 'Non Compete Clause' remains the only episode I found out to be a bad one.
  6. This epilogue to the series felt very nice, I think it was just a way to say thank you, goodbye and giving a glimpse of what happened after the series. I was shocked about how the episode's message is that friendships evolve, but they never really die if you take care of them; and at the same time they're showing that Twilight and Spike will outlive the rest of the mane 6. Other than that, I cannot say it was a top episode, the song was nostalgic but otherwise pretty average. Question: Am I the only one who didn't care at all about the whole coronation thing? Edit: One nitpick I have is how they gave those broad shoulders to Spike, he's a dragon, he should look more lizardly IMO.
  7. Just watched the two parter finale for the season and it delivered amazingly! I think this might have become my favorite two parter, it took advantage of having various episodes of the season as a premise, so this one was 80%-90% delivering a great climatic ending to the season. I absolutely loved how great the villains were portrayed, Chaotic Cozy Glow was a beautiful surprise, Twilight's doubting herself felt very real, the students 6 part was brilliant and Starlight's confidence on taking Chrysalis on and freeing the mane 6 were my favorite parts. 10/10 episode without a doubt.
  8. 'The Perfect Pear' no contest at all, second favorite episode of the entire series. 'Simple Ways' is my second favorite among these ones, it has grown old really well.
  9. 'Amending Fences' just above 'Discordant Harmony' are my favorites episodes of this bunch.
  10. 'Student Counsel' by far, the most realistic set of friends this show has had. 'Three's a Crowd' is my second favorite.
  11. 'Applebuck Season' is my favorite with an amazing tie between 'Luna Eclipsed' and 'Bloom and Gloom' at second place.
  12. 'Sisterhooves Social' definitely, 'Magic Duel' takes the second place on this one.
  13. Have to go with 'The Saddle Row Review' barely winning over 'Sweet and Elite'.
  14. 'Rarity Takes Manehattan' without a doubt, second place is for 'Hearth's Warming Tail'.
  15. 'Sleepless in Ponyville' and 'No Second Prances' tied for first place. Both of them being the best episodes of their respective season.
  16. 'Wonderbolts Academy' with a very close second 'Horse Play'.
  17. 'A Royal Problem' with 'Going to Seed' as a close second.
  18. Anyone introduced to 'Hunter x Hunter's Nen concept? - Earth Ponies would be Enhancers. - Pegasi would be Manipulators (weather focused). - Unicorns would be Emitters, Transmuters and Conjurers at the same time.
  19. Solid episode, I definitely wanted a wedding episode for Big Mac and Sugar Belle. Spike and Discord form a very entertaining duo, the CMC and Mrs. Cake were silly funny and both Big Mac and Sugar Belle were adorable. I liked how the episode developed and the whole apple monsters thing, I liked everyone screwing things up except for Big Mac and Sugar Belle. The only thing I'm not a fan of is having AJ casted aside for most of the episode. I loved that Big Mac invited Burnt Oak to the wedding, in my head canon they have been meeting to talk about Bright Mac a whole lot since the first time the three apple siblings went to ask about him.
  20. Just watched it, pretty solid episode. I laughed like a maniac with the Grand Pear - Star Trek reference, Granny Smith delivered at the perfect moment.
  21. I see why people would think that, 'The Last Crusade' has that 'final season' vibe, while 'Growing Up Is Hard to Do' has a sort of 'timelessness' vibe. I already said that this episode would fit better, IMO, on S6. But that doesn't mean it is out of place on S9, and it would definitely have worked since S3 at least.
  22. A very well done and entertaining CMC episode. The song was not particularly great, but it was a good one nonetheless. A few things to notice about the episode: Classic CMC stuff, would have worked better back at S6 because of how childish the CMC acted. Scootaloo's wings didn't develop as an adult. Fluttershy landing the hard truths was great. Growing up is more about experience and understanding why responsibilities come first, rather than getting physically mature. Not the best episode to be the last one for the CMC, but still pretty good. Oh yeah, I liked the CMC's adult designs, but I definitely think that after S7 they should have gotten a change in design into teen ponies, closer to the size of Biscuit and Spur.
  23. Sure, but making her way to lure Spike into being available 'only for her' just to get him back to help Rarity when she got Gabby to ditch Spike was her jerkiest move in all the series. Don't get me wrong, the lesson is amazing for her and I can see how she needed it. It's just her blatant disregard of Spike's liberty to choose where and whom he wants to spend time with, which I found distasteful. Especially because Rarity has always shown to be such a mature and centered character.
  24. Rarity's manipulation skills and selfishness could have really messed up Spike's friendship with a friend who actually likes what Spike likes. While remaining completely in character, Rarity showed her worse side and it is a shame, especially because Spike had overcome his crush in the best possible way, just maturing, meeting new friends and spending time with them. A good episode which I didn't like too much because of being a Rarity fan. It's painful to watch her like this.
