  1. 3D doritos back in the day crispy M&M's choco pies those Asian wafer rolls those French crepe cookies are really good too
  2. Ship these 2 main characters together so hard. They are awesome reformed villains, especially when they're together. Not gonna lie, I didn't really care for Starlight until the end of season 6 and then season 7. GlimGlam really grew on me as a character, especially because of her polarizing characteristics.
  3. No the couples are absolutely NOT the same. Despite Sugar Belle being very similar in design to Buttercup (Oedipal complex anyone?), the story is completely different in all respects. HtSA was about being outright and honest about your feelings to your crush without neglecting their feelings. The entire story revolved around a competition in getting the mare. Perfect Pair was a Romeo & Juliet mutual love story where the conflict is circumstantial around feuding families and forbidden fruits (apples & pears). There was immediate chemistry and mutual love between the two main characters. The story also was framed around flashbacks which gave the reminiscent episode memorial feelz.
  4. canon in D by Pachelbel using this to help write my essay
  5. I'm pretty sure those paraders don't know too much about MLP.
  6. well the Amazon Pride Parade has Rainbowdash as an alicorn.
  7. It won't happen explicitly, but isn't Lyra & Bon Bon the "best of friends."
  8. Guys we gotta start a petition to bring back MLP if the show ever ends. It worked for Young Justice, it'll work for MLP.
  9. At first, I'm gonna be shocked. Then I'm gonna start dealing in pony contrabands.
  10. It's a matter of perspectives. History is written by the winners, and life is complex (NOT black & white). Even those perceived as Gods (Celestia & Luna) are not perfect and can still make mistakes (A Royal Problem). Because of this, no one in Equestria is infallible. However, MLP is a show directed at little kids, so I think the OP is overthinking this. On this subject, however; I hope the MLP writers do write a moral quandary episode in which there is no right answer, and the "villain" is not necessarily wrong. Both sides are equally valid which leads up to an impasse. I think the MLP writers tried this with Starlight Glimmer's equality point of view but ended up placing her as a full-on uncompromising villain until she got reformed.
  11. Because they're cute, adorable, and different. Before Legend of Korra ended, most people were getting tired of the traditional main character pairing (main girl with main guy), especially between Mako and Korra. Main character pairings with the opposite sex is too cliché and expected. When the show ended with Korrasami, it blew the fandom away. It was not only a win for the LGBT community, but also initially unexpected and cute until you realize all the subtle hints the show dropped throughout. Also people are sometimes arbitrary when they ship characters.
  12. I'm thinking about whether I wanna start on my essay on Multiple Sclerosis or go eat.
  13. Cool. I started out as a history humanities major in my undergraduate studies before switching to biological science. After graduating, I decided to pursue a Master's degree.
  14. I'm Josh and I'm a 25 year old bioscience graduate student who likes MLP.
  15. Absolutely not! Never be ashamed of who you are or what you like. All my girlfriends and friends who are girls make fun of me for it, but I'm not ashamed. For my bday, they got me a brony hoodie and a rainbowdash T shirt.
  16. There's more books in Twilight's new castle. I think you just miss the hominess of it.
  17. Sounds good. Thanks for your input. I'm just waiting for more MLP episodes and Game of Thrones to come out then.
  18. I stopped watching after CM Punk & AJ Lee left. Is it worth watching?
  19. I don't think she adds much to the story, and I think the MLP writing staff just tossed her in to sell toys. I actually do feel the same about Shining Armor and Cadence. Those characters totally came outta nowhere in the season 2 finale.
  20. I completely agree about Zephyr Breeze (doesn't add much to the show). I'd also like to add Flurry Heart and Zipporwhill.
  21. Yes, it was a powerful and emotionally charged episode. However, I do wish I didn't watch it last Wednesday because it really messed up my week. I'm trying to watch as many people's reaction, reviews, comments, and thoughts on the episode as possible. I get teary eyed every time I watch it or watch someone else's reaction to it. It is probably the best episode in the entire show (definitely most emotionally moving and sympathetic love story). The episode also keeps me up at night thinking about what really happened to the Apple parents. The parents being gone is thunder-strikingly tragic as I wonder what must've happened to the most adorable/cutest couple in the entire show. Their love is so strong coupled with their strong devotion/commitment to family. It makes me wonder.
  22. Honestly, I thought we were gonna get a Starswirl the Bearded episode last season when they hinted at the time traveling thing. I thought Twilight would go back in time on accident and help Starswirl make a friend. She would also freak out about meeting one of her idols and make references that the audience wouldn't understand. Or maybe she meets him and realizes that her role model was not all that he's cracked up to be (cmon Hasbro help me out here).
