As a kid, I got (I think) 20 euro from an acquaintance for a silly joke drawing I had made. Also every time I help my grandma with her computer – if she needed help with it every day, I'd be rich. Other than that, the words "easy" and "money" never appear in the same sentence for me.

I've always liked unicorns – while being able to fly would be amazing, there's so much more you can do with magic. And they're a bit more relatable than the extremely rare alicorns. -
Great to see some Dahlia appreciation! As for my favorite, that's been Misty since her debut (before that, it was Sunny), so cute in all her awkwardness. I doubt that will change anytime soon.

When I'm reading and replying to something interesting, this can happen sometimes. Thank you so much for going through the whole thing, my friend! After the original blog and the reply, I don't think there's much more I have to add... Apart from this: I agree with you that the later seasons' songs often weren't as good as the early ones (so that's one area where I do think the show lost some of its quality). That might be in part due to the style of the songs – I generally preferred the more pop-oriented songs (the catchy ones with a more typical structure with verses and choruses) to the ones that sounded like something out of a musical. The latter work well in the show itself, but I don't find myself going back to them like with the former. Actually, my favorite later MLP songs are usually from EqG (especially the shorts, but the specials also have good ones, like "Invisible"). And I can't resist posting another unpopular opinion: "The Magic of Friendship Grows" is a beautiful song, but I seem to be in an extreme minority having "Being Big Is All It Takes" as my favorite season 9 song. I don't know why, but I found the CMCs' songs consistently pretty good. Yeah, it's a good idea to watch them when you most feel like it. When that happens, I hope you enjoy them! The MLP Wiki is a pretty good guide for the shorts, I remember using that to make sure I didn't miss anything. -

Review with haiku Being a Kettle Corn fan, I approve of this! I assume you rewatched the episodes you had seen before (season 1, that is). Despite being an FIM completionist (I've seen everything including all the shorts), I've only seen a few more than once. Considering that I've liked most of those few more on the rewatch, maybe I should do that more. And here are the comments (or a mini-essay) I wrote while reading What can I say... I meant to post some comments (mostly based on my thoughts from a few years ago) and it ended up becoming an essay of its own. Maybe if I ever write a review of the show myself, I can use these ramblings as the basis for that. Awesome work – I was looking forward to this, but I never expected anything this detailed and inspiring! And as an end note, I definitely recommend checking out all the shorts! You'll get my favorite MLP song of all, some great moments with the humans (and sometimes ponies)... And then there are the clip shows that at least have a few minutes of new content. A little more of that pony magic to enjoy. -
I have a new favorite in G5. The latest TYT short introduces this interesting-looking ice cream pony. A descendant of Strawberry Scoop, maybe? Based on the Derpibooru tags, the name Vanilla Swirl seems to be used for her. Not sure if that name will stick, though – what little we see of the cutie mark appears to be a cherry. No mentions of poor Spike? He's my pick – sure, not all of his portrayals were perfect, but he was a crucial part of the cast and was there from day one. -

The one time Mordecai shows up in MLP-related stuff that has nothing to do with Mordetwi. I couldn't help but be reminded of this by the chase scene (just because of the really random song). Maybe you could use some parts of that dream in a comedy story, though I doubt anything would be fitting for Pipp the Poltergeist. -
Great review, my friend! I agree for the most part. Nothing was quite at the level of "Missing the Mark", but I feel it was more consistent on the whole than the previous chapter. Especially the Pipp-focused episode was a lot better this time. I feel we got a better special/double-length episode this time, too ("Family Trees" vs. "Bridlewoodstock").

On the forums, I'd say I'm quite popular. Maybe not as much as when I was at my most active, but I still have quite a few friends here, and people know me for my brohoofing if nothing else. Offline, not at all. The few friends I have are ones I see very rarely, and I've completely lost contact with the rest (and there still weren't that many) years ago. -

Do you like having your picture taken?

No, there are few things I hate more than that. Whenever I see someone taking a picture, I try my best not to appear in it – this has even become a joke in my family. Most of the photos that have been taken of me are completely awful – if it's a candid photo, I'm in the middle of talking or doing something else that looks silly, and if it's something I'm posing for, I have an unnatural expression if I try to smile, otherwise I look like a funeral guest or a criminal having their mugshot taken. As a result, there are probably about five photos of me as an adult. -

Ones that aren't descriptive like the already mentioned "shoegaze". I don't care what the musicians do while playing, I care what it sounds like. Also "EDM" for similar reasons. I remember it used to be called "dance", which immediately gives at least some idea of what it's like. With an acronym, there's no way to understand it unless you've heard it before – from the context where I first heard it, I knew it was some kind of electronic music, but I still thought it was a new subgenre for a long time. I still call it dance most of the time.

If it's a good or decent song, I'll listen to it, maybe then it will leave me alone (though there's the possibility of that making things worse). If it's an annoying one (sadly this happens more often), I'll listen to another catchy but better song to try to replace it.
