  1. I have thoughts. I joined this book related site due to a friend. I don’t necessarily fit in with some of these bougie book readers. Like sure I’ve got some nice books but I’m committed to my Diary Of A Wimpy Kid book bingeing. Which other than my friend people don’t bother to like those updates of books I’ve read anymore. Which is fine. I’m not reading these to impress other people. It’s for me. I been putting myself out there trying to interact with people. It’s not been going very well. Ra forbid I want to read a children’s book series. The judgement is real but I still try. Especially because my list of favorite books are outdated. I’ve only recently got back into reading. So yes those were my favorite books from ages ago. I’m sure once I start on these more recently released books I’ll update those. From what I could remember I really liked those. Anyway I’m currently being negged to death for two reasons. One for having an opinion on not liking a certain series. Which is fine. If people want to be upset that I don’t like a certain book series they can go ahead. It’s not gonna make me like it lol. The second reason however is because of my friend. She decided to come for me for my post saying how I left a lot social media sites due to how toxic the atmosphere is. Anyway she went on this long winded rant on how toxic people have always existed before the internet. Which has resulted in another sea of negs to my post and upvotes to hers. Which lead to her dm’ing me on discord being like maybe I shouldn’t have done that 💀 I just deleted my account. I’m going to make a new one but just for me to keep track of what I’m reading because it’s a good site for that purpose. I really don’t need to be dealing with that sort of toxic nonsense.
  2. I’ve seen that too. I really don’t understand the issue with adults liking Disney. Adults liked Disney stuff when I was a kid but for some reason now it’s a problem for adults to like it.
  3. Yeah so I don't disagree but for me personally dwelling on this sort of stuff isn't productive. The time I've spent sitting here thinking about how I'm getting older, people who have passed, living life in the moment, etc is time I'm taking away from ACTUALLY living my life. A lot of people will repeat the same thing of living life for every moment/to the fullest/etc but don't actually do it. They'll talk about it but don't do it. I'm more of an actions over words person, especially when words can easily be made to look nice with ai these days. I can write out this full thoughtful post on living life with no regrets, etc. Spend 15-20 minutes on it. However the time I spent writing that I could have been actually doing that. I can set my laptop down, go exercise, read a book, play Stardew Valley and do things I want to do. I say that as someone who has made the choice to lay around thinking about my eventual demise vs actually doing anything productive. The time I spent thinking about how old I am now and how everything hurts for no reason I could have finished a book. Vice versa the time I spent talking about living my life to the fullest I could have finished a book. It's not that I don't like in depth conversations but when it comes to this. My thoughts are the time I spent talking about living my life to the fullest I could have been doing it. I've also noticed a lot of people I've ran into over the years who have made comments about living your life to the fullest, no regrets, etc aren't doing it themselves.
  4. I have a loooooot as I've read a lot lol. I can't even remember all of them tbh. The entire Sandman series. The entire Fables series. I also enjoyed the Jack of Fables spin off series. Fairest was ok. Archie Sonic. (Didn't care as much for the Sonic X or Sonic Universe comics. I've still not started the IDW ones yet although I have all the omnibus books they've put out) The entire Knuckles comic series I loved. Which made me very happy to see Ken Penders doing the omnibus of those as they deserve it. I had preordered the first one and had him sign it to me. The entire Batman Knightsfall, Knightsquest and Kightsend. That whole segment to this day remains the best Batman arc I've ever read. If I ever recommend a Batman series to be read it's these. Out of all the Batman comics I've read. I've not enjoyed any as much as these. That being said I did like Batman Hush, Batman A Death in the Family and Batman Under the Red Hood. Red Hood and the Outlaws new 52 run I found enjoyable. I've also found all Nightwing runs enjoyable. Grayson was also good. I'm biased because I love Nightwing. Batwoman Elegy. Bingo Love. Watchmen (I have the 2019 edition) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin
