As a person who’s been to Lancaster way too much this hotel was always empty. Literally nobody stayed here. Always no cars in the parking lot. Which is sad cause it looked cool but always dead. Honestly I’m shocked it stayed open for as long as it did. This really just was a bad spot for it.

I’ve had the same thing before! Is it not wild? I had someone ship something in an empty Huggies box. It had me like why is there a diaper box by my front door 💀 I have no children lol. Food boxes. Truly whatever people can find laying around and stuff the items in they ship it in.

Todays book haul I already had Owlcrates version of Alchemy of Secrets however my cat damaged it. This is Fairyloots version. I got this one from a seller over rebuying the same version I had due to the fact that this one included the authors letter + signature. Owlcrate forgot to add that into their version of the book (they emailed an apology about it). Also no shade but this person who sold me this does not know how to package stuff. I- some people really do be sending stuff in whatever they have laying around the house 💀 What shocks me more is the postal service is fine with it 💀 That Book Of Azrael arrived Damaged. However I’m going to hold onto it. I’m going to make the decision on if I want to replace it or just go ahead and buy the Fairyloot three book set. The Leather and Lark book is a replacement because my copy I got last week came damaged. Tis the season for damaged stuff I suppose 💀 Deaths Obsession has purple edges, you just can’t tell because of the case. Thanks to a seller giving me a bookmark for this book from a past purchase of mine is how I found out about it. So I bought it. It looks short. I may just go ahead and knock out reading it tonight. That Fairyloot Violet made of Thorns though. Seller Only wanted 5 bucks. Brand new. Authors letter and signed. They even gave me cute stickers with it. I’m shook. Only 5 bucks for this and it’s perfect?

I'll spill a little tea This is the documentation side of quality. Where you want your i's to be dotted and your t's to be crossed in case something gets found during an audit. I will not do parts of my job I need to if everything is not in order first. People do not like that. They want me to fix their mistakes for them, they want me to just do it regardless if information is wrong, they want to argue or try to push me around. These are engineers, leaders, sales people, quality associates etc I deal with. I will not budge. I am very liked and very hated depending on who you ask because of that lol.

Yeeeeeeeah I actually lead these ones weekly lol. That being said other people do most of the talking. Buuuut due to mistakes and poor communication we can't not have these meetings. A good portion of my job is catching other peoples mistakes. It shouldn't be. I have had to lay the hammer down almost weekly here lately. Quality has strict rules and people don't wanna follow it.

I would if I did not have to work lol. I have another meeting coming up in like a half hour and another in two hours.

The being up since midnight is now starting to catch up to me lol. I'm very tired.

With my Owlcrate Advent Calendar just shipping out today I don't think it's going to arrive before the holiday. I was hoping to have that to open up before hand. On one hand I know this isn't their fault because the books were held up at Customs but at the same time they've had these on sale since like....October. They should have had the books ready sooner than later. I still haven't even gotten my November box from them due to the hold up at customs. Same with the December. Not shipped. This is partially why I cancelled their adult box and switched to the YA one. As the YA box doesn't seem to have as many issues. That being said my YA book from them for this month hasn't shipped either lol. I'll likely be dropping them altogether once I get off of Fairyloots YA waitlist. I don't have these issues with Illumicrate and Allurial. I preordered three limited edition books from Owlcrate that were supposed to ship this month that are now pushed back another month due to them not having the books. I expect better from a book subscription service that's supposed to be up there with Fairyloot. This is slowly turning into the Bookish Box where people are buying books and not receiving them till months later. I think people just now received their April subscription box from them. No I'm not doing that. I'm not gonna just keep handing y'all money and not get what I paid for. Some people are ok with doing that and it's fine. For me. I want the subscription box for that month to come that month not five months from now. Plus Owlcrate is the most expensive out of all the boxes. Not only are you the most expensive, you aren't delivering in a timely manner. I'm hoping to get off Fairyloots waitlist in the next few months (hopefully) and I can kiss Owlcrate goodbye. Not playing this game with them.
