  1. Listening to calm music for sure. Watching documentaries at night is a curse though, haha. Because when I start to watch one, more and more questions and recommendations will pop up and I have to look it up as well! And then I'm awake all night...
  2. Same! It's weird, at my age it feels like I don't need that much sleep anymore. I always wake up 1 hour earlier, sometimes 2.
  3. None. But this is something I would love to do in the future, if the opportunity is given. After the pandemic that is and no war happens... Are there actually activities the members of this forum do sometimes? Online or in real life? Just wondering.
  4. I'm pretty much always daydreaming and this often leads to some funny moments. Like when I'm thirsty, I plan to get some water. I go to the kitchen, then I open a random wall cupboard and I'm wondering what I even wanted.
  5. This is my favorite fan art of G5:

It's also the best thing that came out of G5 so far, in my subjective opinion. It manages to do something that the movie wasn't able to do: It makes me laugh. :ButtercupLaugh:

I don't really talk about G5 and avoid its topics for the most part, because I don't really have anything positive to say and I don't want to ruin the enjoyment for anyone. :) But I wanted to at least make this post and share my thoughts with you.

With Hello Pinkie Pie, Pony Life, G5 movie and the 2D version probably as well, it is very clear that FIM was just something extraordinary and not the norm. Something they normally don't do. Everything besides FIM was never meant to appeal to me, I'm not their target audience.

Even though I'm a hardcore FIM fan, I'm always looking forward to new exciting and fresh things. That's why I gave the other content a chance too, I even watched the G5 movie 2 times to be absolutely sure, but it really didn't appeal to me. Everything, from the graphics, characters, designs to the songs - it wasn't for me. The pace was really weird and the writing... The whole thing is mediocre at best. Just...boring... :lie: That's how I feel about it.

For the future it probably means that, if things and all the topics are more centered around G5, this will be the time when I become less active. I will always be here, since I love this place and you guys. But I dunno, I hope there will at least always be a small circle of FIM lovers. :kindness:

@Kujamih I’m coming into the series hoping that at least some of the burning questions get asked. If they don’t, then connecting it to G4 at all was a massive waste.

I never said I wanted it to end. If it did, what more can you do? I’m not demanding a deep dissection of the lore. I just want a simple explanation that makes me think ‘Great. Now I know how.’ :please:

Like Pony Life, I will definitely give the 2D version of G5 a chance. Maybe I will be positively surprised, but I doubt it. :ButtercupLaugh:

Thank you for your encouraging words, @Oleks. :) And everyone else of course, it means a lot! :kindness:

@TomDaBombMLP G5 should have been its own thing, in my opinion. They are far in the future, which means most of the ponies we love (if not all) are dead, which will make G5 always a somewhat sad experience, no matter how "good" it can potentially become. But Hasbro is all about cash, I predict they will make use of the G4 ponies one way or the other. Maybe they were frozen in time and they will all appear again, similar to the Crystal Empire. Or as a (cheap) crossover. Maybe the G5 ponies will travel back in time. G4 was very successful, of course they won't entirely let go of that. But we, as loving fans, I doubt we will like what they are going to do, if I'm correct. Again, for them, it's all about money.

But "luckily" FIM ended. They can't go back and ruin any part of it anymore! :squee: I don't view G5 as canon. To me, this is not the future of Equestria. :fiery:

If you actually watch fim more and more, the magic starts to fade.

That's a very good point, @Kujamih. That's why I'm careful now and take longer breaks between the episodes. I don't want to overdo it. :) Variety helps, such as other hobbies. But FIM is my life, it will be part of me until the day I die (and beyond)! The fan content also keep things exciting, there is new art every day. I estimated it will take me roughly 20 years to look through all of it. :ButtercupLaugh:

      *hugs everyone*

To me G5 was good it was open to new comers and old ones alike, it opened alot of questions to want you to know more. This is a good move for hasbro.

  6. My real name is スベン。 Da Bomb is certainly a unique name.
  7. Military time is normal here. Even though I prefer military time, I have no problem to understand the 12 hour system.
  8. This would be the most exciting week! Drinking tea together~ Sitting in her garden together~ Brushing each others hair, I would braid her hair and put flowers in it (plastic flowers, since she probably wouldn't want me to kill real flowers)~ Reading fairy tales together~ And if we feel like doing something super crazy, we could go for a walk when it's drizzling!
  9. This, honestly, would be amazing! Together, we would drive everyone insane with our love for the show, hahaha.
  10. I don't dislike any episode. But of course, I enjoy some episodes more than others. I can only talk about aspects that I usually don't like. Fights between friends (sad)... Bullying (disgusting)... Rivalry stuff (annoying)...
  11. Yes, I feel very bad. So I only kill when I have to, like mosquitoes or other smaller insects that would lead to an infestation if left alive... Over than that, I even help animals. Like little flies who are drowning in a cup or toilet. It is very heartwarming when they recover and fly away from my finger. I would even gladly become a vegan, if I wouldn't have allergies of all the meat alternatives.
  12. Oh, good question! Nice revival! I joined the official Nintendo forums! I didn't have my own computer nor Internet at the time, so I only posted a few questions and answers. It was so silly, I asked where I can find the heart pieces in Ocarina of Time, something you can easily look up, but how would I know?
  13. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/-/de/dp/B08VH7TZ6X/ref=sr_1_18?keywords=diamond+painting&qid=1645211244&sr=8-18 The fourth image on the left side shows the paraphernalia that comes with it, it's exactly what I use too. In general I would say that one diamond painting like this costs a little bit more than a puzzle with 1,000 pieces. It's very relaxing!
  14. I feel excited. I started to work on a new jigsaw puzzle yesterday. And I plan to do some diamond paintings and models afterwards.
  15. I love this music so much!

@Samurai Equine I love it! Calm music is great!

One of my favorite tracks is actually this:

0:11 - 0:56. When I heard this for the first time, it gave me some crazy goosebumbs! Does anyone know if there is a version without the sound effects? :o

  16. Fluttershy wants to go on a stroll with you through ze Wald.

That's so kind of you @Sven Utacien . Thank you!

I will have a long stroll with her :>

  17. To always lock the door gives me a feel of security. If there was a housebreaker, the only way to get into my bedroom would be through very loud means and it would hopefully give me some more time to prepare. I always think a lot and locking the door seems more logical to me than not. I hope things will become better for you, so you can feel 100% comfortable.
  18. *knock, knock* "Hug delivery! May we come in?"

  19. Someone might ask: "Is it the room of your daughter?" With all the FIM and horsey stuff I have. And then they would assume I'm a strict father, with how clean and tidy everything is.
  20. I still have this poster from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D on my bedroom door: Amazing game!
