  1. Those eyes ....Aren't knock-off toys just marvelous?
  2. I saw demos of it last night, and so far it's shaping up to be the next Hat in Time and a potential goldmine for mods. Good as it looks, though, I think I'll wait to see the finished product - Those boss demos looked tough.
  3. Oh! Oh gosh... Not to make this about me, but this was how one of my cousins died. If only Jeric and I could've talked more, we both could've gotten to know each other. But that's the thing about introverts, we're often mute to a fault. By the way, and I'm really just asking here, how old were they when they passed? Anyone know?
  4. Nah, it's fine. "Impossible" in quotes implied those two things - the moments we thought were impossible but still beat anyway. @Megas I just beat it again two days ago. But if you've found the Death Ring, I wouldn't recommend using it alone. The Dominus Agony glyph is definitely the lesser of two evils, but with the Death Ring equipped, you won't get instakilled, so it's a good strat for killing tough bosses.
  5. Oh yeah, Gravedorcus and Blackmore are two of the most trying bosses that make Galamoth look like Slogra. That being said, here's another Kingdom Rush one - Kingdom Rush Frontiers, Dusk Chateau on veteran. The difficult parts are the vampirettes, the swarms of abominations that, even if they're destroyed, will still decimate your heroes and barracks, and then there's the Zerg rush of lycans before the boss. But if all of your towers are fully upgraded and can use rain of fire/reinforcements when they show up, that last part isn't too difficult, but no less tense. Some tutorials use Alric for crowd control; meanwhile, Bonehart's just there spewing poison up a trail full of zombies like no tomorrow. For this map, you get two heroes, and you really have to keep them moving.
  6. Have you played the boss rush? You get two special equipment on each route.
  7. The Pandaemonium map in Kingdom Rush. It's one of the hardest maps in the game even on casual mode, but after a few tries, I finally beat it on veteran mode. The trick is to have set up three Teslas near the exit and two sorcerers with Golems - those handle Cerberuses and the boss the best without getting instakilled. Then you just work your way up both sides of the map with more Teslas. It's super finicky, you've got to time the rain of fire/reinforcements just right on the second and third waves. Edit: Did I say three Teslas? I meant two Teslas and a fully-upgraded paladin barracks close to the exit.
  8. I've been sort of following it since it started, but was under the impression that it seemed to get considerably less attention than TYT even with the same runtime. I could be wrong, but... Anyway, Lemon Meringue, Raspberry Tart, Sour Grapes are my top three favorites so far. Bread Pudding has grown on me too.
  9. I bought a slim model PS2 months ago with Dark Cloud and FreQuency. It came with two controllers and memory cards. I also got a physical copy of A Hat in Time for my Switch.
  10. Dark Cloud PS2 is chock full of glitches, probably because it's the first game to be released for that console. One of these is the broken dagger glitch - it's a glitch item that, if you attach it to a weapon, instantly maxes out its stats and lets you evolve your weapons faster. Only if you're not a fan of the grindfest that is zooming in and out of dungeons. You can even sell them for thousands more gold than by grinding alone. There's a Youtube channel (pokemonfan4000) that explains all this and more for both the PS2 and PS4 versions.
  11. Super Mario RPG Remake. Probably not going to play it, just watch a playthrough. @Steve Piranha Super Mario Bros. Wonder looks like it'll be neat, I agree. More than anything else, though, I'm looking forward to more 3D platformers from small developers, something that fires on all cylinders.
  12. Dragon Ball Z, Saiyan Saga. Just the battle of everyone vs. Vegeta and Nappa.
  13. I've been binging Family Guy lately in those 2+ hour compilations on YouTube, and some of the new episodes aren't all that terrible. There's the episode where Peter becomes the school principal, when he gets fused to the couch and meets God, when he gets a food truck.
  14. Lots of old PS2 games and two decades' worth of AAA games, not least because I grew up with classic Mario, Sonic, DK, Final Fantasy, etc. MMOs. I played Runescape for one evening years ago and lost interest. Then I read about the Falador Massacre. Good lord. FPS and battle royale games (Apex, Fortnite, PUBG, etc.)
  15. Neighbors From Hell, the remastered version. For those who don't know, it's a stealth/sabotage type game where you play as a chipper comedy show host against his jerky next door neighbor. You go sneaking around his house on a number of missions, basically trolling him (i.e. putting bath water in his pudding, laxatives in his beer, superglue on his binoculars). It's kind of mean-spirited, but funny as hell.
  16. Most of the Klonoa games out there (Door to Phantomile, Lunatea's Veil, Empire of Dreams, etc.), except for Densetsu no Star Medal.
  17. This afternoon, I finished watching Transformers: Rescue Bots season 1. From someone who hasn't seen Transformers anything in over two decades, this was a fun ride. Lots of great moments, especially from Heatwave, who's growing to be a favorite.
  18. It's perfect for games on the go, that's for sure. There's just the minor thing of paying $20 for a terrible online service and the fact that the it has a limited capacity of 32GB and so you'd need a separate MicroSD card so you can pack in more games if you're buying from the Eshop. I had to buy another one because I broke the one I got one Christmas - got really frustrated with Smash Ultimate, banged it against my knee, and cracked the screen.
  19. Sonic 06 Most FPS games (Call of Duty, Overwatch, Apex, etc.). It's honestly more fun to watch people troll each other than to play. Metal Gear. I love stealth games to death, but not when they drag on for more than 30 minutes.
  20. Never thought of the rest of the Mane 6 as having ethnicities (I mean, in the case of Applejack and Rarity, Caucasian is a given), but I've always imagined Twilight and Sci-Twi as being half-Japanese.
  21. Wireless as in those expensive airpods? Nooo. Wired earbuds may be frustrating, but at least they don't get lost down storm drains. Not trying to diss on anyone who owns airpods, for real, but as a concept, they seem ill-advised.
  22. Dare I bring up the Irate Gamer? I watched James when I was in high school, but when Chris Bores came on the scene, I thought maybe he'd met his match.
  23. The first seasons were, if nothing else, strong reminders that the show is for 5-year-olds first and whole families second. Season 9, being the weakest, had a few of those from Common Ground, which was lackluster in places, to Going to Seed, full-bodied and yet uneventful.
