  1. I want to discuss MLP on this forum, however conveying the message without making it too negative for people or at all if possible, is the goal. I don't want to make enemies here, that is not what I'm about. If anything I've said recently irked people in some way, I am sorry, I will try my best to correct that. I don't want to be ostracized for opinions about something however I intend to treat people with that same respect in return.
  2. I agree, however I would not say it was malice on Princess Celestia's part, more like ignorance, Princess Luna's pain built up from all the neglect and discrimination from other ponies, and eventually she sought solace from a dark power that took over her, depending on if you connect the comics to the TV show canon, some people do not, however that's beside the point, it is clear that Luna's weremare fiasco could have been avoided if Princess Celestia had discussed it with her sister sooner, if we are talking about the TV show MLP FIM only, Celestia was not directly to blame for the misunderstanding that occurred, but what she did, did contribute to Luna holding onto that negativity. Some people do not see it this way, however I see Princess Luna's interaction with CMC in the dreamworld as an extension of her empathy, I've made it clear before to other people, though some people may not agree with me on this one, that reoccurring nightmares can be traumatizing and interfere with sleep, some nightmares are normal, but when they happen too often they are a sign of an underlying problem that needs to be addressed, Princess Luna, understanding the mechanics of the dream world in some way, her interaction with other ponies did have its benefits. I do not care what other people say about her, the truth of the matter is this, what she did for Cutie Mark Crusaders, particularly in Sleepless in Ponyville did have a positive outcome for Scootaloo in helping her with her confidence and not taking competition with Rainbow Dash too seriously.
  3. TheRockARooster how are you today? been enjoying life I hope. :kindness:

      Hi there, Dawnshine. :coco:

Lovely to see you again, my friend.

      I’m ok, gonna sleep soon.

Hope life is treating you well too.

  4. I mean, I know fantasies like that can never come true, however with a different upbringing and all that, it is obvious I do not want people's negativity to be brought into that world in any shape or form. There are other fictional universes fans wish they could be in and can never be, but that's okay, I don't call them weird or wrong for doing it. My MLP G4 fan fiction has some similarities to Peter Dickinson's story Flight of Dragons, I don't know if he truly did fantasize about being in that other fictional world beyond just writing his novel, however I would say being in a fairy tale world with dragons and wizards would be cool depending on if somebody truly desired it or not. There's more to being a good person than just being a hero however, but it is true that self sacrifice to save others is honorable, honour does not always come from fighting, it can come from healthy relationships with others. Don't know how everybody else here is feeling today, though I wish everybody else here well, I've been in a positive mood today, and I've been watching a TV special of a British sitcom Only Fools and Horses, Miami Twice, I've just recently got the DVD of it, something I hadn't watched in a very long time.
  5. Sometimes, when it comes to misspoken words or difficulty getting the words out you are trying to say, it's on others to give you a chance to clarify or correct yourself instead of rudely interrupting you every time however. Sometimes people may interrupt you out of spite or passive aggressiveness, sometimes not, but I know well enough about you by now Snoopy Fan, that you do not fall into the category of rude or spiteful, you're more polite than most people I know, you even avoid using expletives and slurs which is nice, and is a good measure of considerate behavior toward other people, so I do trust you. Language and how we use it is important, however as Night Sky said, it is also important to recognize everybody has their flaws. It is also important to remember context and things like neurodivergence and disorders which can affect people's ability to tell others what they're really thinking. Treating people with compassion is fundamental for a positive outcome, and we should not assume other people have bad intentions just because what they said bothered them.
  6. Princess Luna's duties are so overlooked, and she is a misunderstood character who I feel gets criticized far too often, in fact there are more issues with Celestia than with Luna, as Princess Celestia though it may not be intentional, Princess Luna's mental health problems could have been paid more attention to by her sister, I know Celestia is not a qualified mental health expert either, however she is still a family member, that is the important part, I love them both equally however I don't feel like Luna gets appreciated enough, yes she is popular, at the same time though, some of the criticisms fans give this character in my opinion are very unfair. Yes, I voted Luna doing a good job helping her subjects, there's enough consistency in her behavior to say she does care about the well being of other individuals.
  7. That final scene in the clip where Del was riding off into the sunset on that jet ski, so hilarious, really captures the length of his accidental journey across the ocean. 25 miles at sea with a jet ski that does not work.
  8. I like castles, though that one is so big I'd probably get lost in it. Saying that though the organ is a nice instrument, I could not play it, however I suppose I could sit and listen to somebody else play it.
  9. Some of them, not all, perhaps if I lived there I probably could name all of them. But there's 50 of them, I know that much. The ones which commonly come to mind are ones like New York, Texas, Missouri, California, Nevada, Florida, Pennsylvania, Kansas, Alaska, Hawaii, Ohio, Connecticut, Alabama (also in a song title for Whiskey Bar from The Doors called Alabama Song) Vermont, Illinois which is a state the city of Chicago is in, but it is only because of that city that I can name that state and it was also brought up in the film The Fugitive.
  10. David Jason, same guy who voiced BFG 1989.
  11. Only this Batman would ever reveal his secret identity.
  12. Call of Duty Zombies is a survival mode where none of that drama I spoke of happens as well, so while zombies present a challenge to players, barring glitches, they never really do something which destroys people's gameplay experience. Minecraft has mob griefing, but at least players have the option to do something about it outside of cheating or using peaceful difficulty, they can spawn proof their builds, and if players are patient enough, they can prevent Endermen from TPing up to their territories because if cave systems are lit up properly, as well as a player's base in that area, this prevents Endermen from spawning and going around ripping up dirt blocks in gardens and what not. Minecraft has something which appeals to a variety of players and they're not all forced into an anarchy world situation.
  13. Grateful that there are a lot of good people here on this forum, and nobody here has ever called me a freak or other horrible names for my fan fiction I worked on.
  14. I know a good 90's CD album that has that song, good tune, I recommend it, though it may not be everyone's cup of tea.
  15. Amused how Darkness in movie Legend screamed "Father, Protect Me!" Like as if that is going to work when he literally attacked creatures intended to maintain balance in the universe, attacking unicorns in fiction is likely going to end in failure.
  16. I wish I could go back in time to undo past mistakes, I don't like to be a burden on other's.
  17. If it would help make the world a better place, I'd like it to be a rainbow, make it known I liked MLP, yes even in old age if I make it that far. but in the spirit of what MLP FIM represents, I would ask people learn from it, use it to bring positivity to others lives. Show compassion, help individuals with emotional issues deal with them in a healthy way, fix relationships that have gone wrong if possible, be patient and wise and be willing to take on life's challenges, promote good healthcare and inclusivity, that sort of thing.
  18. I don't know what to think about this one, people who obsess over who has the most wealth would be a prime candidate for this one I suppose, but it's relative, what we think of as boring is not necessarily the case for everybody else. I don't watch sports, however some people do, if they're a sports fan, good for them. Some people may consider me boring, I mean, I like My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, which is a show originally meant for little girls, but because it caught the interest of adults, it became something for everyone. On top of this, well, some of you read my bio and not many seem to care about either, however on the positive side of things, I don't have to deal with too many messages or emails. Not to be rude however we can only respond to so many people on a given day. It's not a popularity contest or anything. If I finished my fan fiction someday, I still don't want it being on fimfiction, because even if people did care about it, copyright takedowns are possible. I don't do that to make me less boring, it's a way to express daydreams or escapism from the harshness of the real world, that's all it is.
  19. You have such positivity Snoopy Fan, I could learn from you.
  20. Not angry, however if I said nothing made me sad today I'd be lying, while I was not crying about it as he was not a close friend of mine, a British singer passed away on 22nd, Ozzy Osbourne, while I was not a listener of his Black Sabbath albums I do know of him and some of the things he did in his life based on information we can read about him online. I know he did some terrible things in his life too like his attempted murder of Sharon when he was battling addiction problems however I still think he did regret it deeply, being drunk is not an excuse to attempt to kill somebody, however I don't think he is a monster, and he did seek help for his addiction after this I believe. Oddly enough it does not appear substance abuse was the reason for his passing, other health problems appeared to have done it, either Parkinson's or something else, no information at this time. https://www.theguardian.com/music/2025/jul/22/ozzy-osbourne-black-sabbath-frontman-and-icon-of-british-heavy-metal-dies-aged-76
  21. A book, My Little Pony: Journal of the Two Sisters.
  22. Knowing my family still care, even if I don't appreciate everything they do sometimes.
  23. Nothing made me particularly angry today, however, I was in a conversation with somebody on a different website, who I cannot mention the name of without permission, but he is a friend of mine who I regularly play online games with. After coming home from a local pub he continued playing Minecraft to install a Piglin bartering system in the Nether, which I found was cool. Minecraft is one survival game I continue to come back to, I like building with friends, sometimes with redstone, sometimes not, however at least in this survival game we have some control over whether or not certain annoyances show up. Spawn proofing builds is a must in the game to protect our work, which we do, using bottom slabs, glass or even sufficient lighting. It's a great form of escapism. Still I don't understand why anyone would want to be in a game where builds could be destroyed in a matter of hours, I think it's stupid if you ask my opinion, I don't like insulting people's hobbies however I question the rationality behind something like working on something for several months knowing full well others or an in game feature could take it away from them at any time, and I am not talking about dying or losing items, which is meant for challenge purposes, I am talking about something which usually is much more time consuming, like a build. It's the reason why I stayed away from Ark Survival Evolved, I don't call a video game where animals can trample down your house fun, but to each their own I suppose.
  24. Some good humour on the forum I see, thank you, for reminding us of all the fun that exists in the world still.
