I was commenting about what a thoughtful community this is, I'm not joking when I say this, I think, potentially, the positivity of the community here has saved lives. People here actually encourage getting help when they see individuals struggling with mental health problems. -
I think some of us would have been happier in the fictional world of MLP FIM to be honest, either as humans in Equestria Girls or Ponies in FIM, I have spoken to a few fans who said this, what would change? we would still treat each other like we are family, but also be in a world where many more individuals like us exist. Alright some people would not wish to be in that fantasy world, some people may cosplay or roleplay as certain characters in the show, or even their own OC, but that does not necessarily mean they wish to be there. In any case, the community we have set up here, thanks to people who run the site for us, gives me the impression that many individuals here would not be a problem there. You might find some toxicity from individuals on other platforms who would not be a great influence in a fictional world like Equestria, or in any world, really, but they do not represent the entirety of our population. People here are genuinely helpful though, say happy birthday to each other, if they see somebody who is upset on their own blog on this website, they private message them sometimes asking what's wrong, and they give helpful advice like seeing counselling for mental health, such a positive community.

Ergo, paradise is subjective. Some people may tolerate living in that VR simulation, but for others it may do their heads in after a while. but if you wanted drama, you could opt for a fantasy world where you were a superhero. Some people prefer solitude, or more peaceful settings. Given the two options above though I'd red pill, because being stuck in a world of oppression by machines is not something I could live with long term. In Terminator films they actually kept humans as slaves, and to that I'd definitely say no. A more peaceful existence may result in some boredom, but at least you have liberty. Drama does give people something to work for, but if that drama comes in the form of never ending suffering until death like slavery and holocausts, that is not a desirable existence IMO. -
Not all space aliens in fiction are hostile. Doesn't matter if they are from an alternate reality or the same universe.

I don't own horses, and I don't believe it's fair to treat them as property, no animal deserves this. If I could talk to Princess Luna which will never happen, but just a fantasy world scenario, I would talk to her like I would talk to a human, compassionate, considerate of feelings and autonomy. All that matters to me is the soul or the mind of an individual, if they are a respectful person, I can be very social with them and I would like her to be a friend if that's what she was okay with. She is a horse, I'm a primate, who cares, in fact I wished I could be a Pegasi/Pony in Equestria because I like their culture. -

It sucked that Thunder Megazord, which is an upgraded version of Dino Megazord, got destroyed by Rito Revolto, they had to meet their match some time, but it truly was a sad day for Team Morphin to see their mechs totalled. Power Rangers got justice though when they defeated Rito Revolto with their new mech the Ninja Megazord.

How do other things become a topic for censorship (racial stereotyping for example) in Looney Tunes classic shows but the concept of Hell in the Sylvester and Tweety episode does not? people have been rather inconsistent when it comes to things like that, religious references. In some children's animated shows or movies they cut or limit its presence, like in All Dogs Go to Heaven cut version, but in others, they leave it in. Fair point that not everybody believes in the existence of Hell, but it seems people are rather pick and choosy by what they are offended by sometimes.

I think I saw the movie House of Villains, a Mickey Mouse movie but not House of Mouse, there have been several movies about Mickey Mouse over the years, Fantasia films to name a few. I do wish to buy copies of them on DVD at some point. I unsubscribed to Disney Plus when its value for money wasn't worth it, there are only a few Disney films I ever watch. I do have a DVD and bluray collection, originals not remakes, Lion King movies, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid Diamond edition, Aladdin, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules etc. Out of all of them I would say Hercules is overrated, Hades added the comedy factor but apart from that the movie was kinda dull in my opinion, there were not many memorable characters, at least Beast in Beauty and the Beast had an engaging story and a redemption arc I can sympathize with, he was a flawed character, sure, but he did more than punch bad guy into River Styx or pummel his way to victory, Beast showed that redemption is possible even if you start out rough, and when he was ready to let Belle go free even at the cost of his own curse never being removed, that showed he learned kindness for a change.

Me too and if we existed in the fantasy realm of Equestria in MLP G4/FIM, vinyl would be the go to music medium anyways by the looks of things. If you ever been to a 90's rave with a DJ, you'd probably be used to that sort of thing anyway. In Hasbro's fictional world they made, their tech is much older or more archaic, but they still have music, DJ Pon-3 and Octavia Melody to name a few involved in that. But you know, in that imaginary scenario, I would not complain about that. How music is made, the creativity that goes into making it and the fun people have, matters much more than the medium used, good songs on a vinyl will always be better than bad music on a CD IMO.

I think it's unfair for people to talk down on music lovers who collect vinyl records still. I know this issue is not all that common but it does happen. I am aware of CD's being superior in quality, but I do understand the nostalgic value vinyl records hold. Vinyl records can wear out, but then so can CD's. They both have their strengths and weaknesses, some music was never released on other mediums, many were, but there are some tracks out there that were never transferred over, downloadable music excluding piracy, did not change that.

This gets into the philosophical debate about what is reality, Morpheus explained as much in the Matrix film, I know it's only scfi however it is also a thought provoking matter. If people define what is real by what they can experience with their human senses, then it is simply a matter of electrical signals interpreted by the brain. VR as depicted in scifi, blurs the line between illusion and reality, because while the virtual world does not operate at the physical level as we know it, if you were trapped within this simulation, how would you be able to tell the difference? imagine if you were kidnapped, and then made a test subject within a VR world, you wake up in this simulated world that looks, feels, tastes, smells and sounds just as real as the one you grew up in, but you were never told about what happened, all of a sudden, this strange environment becomes your "new reality". I'm not making an argument for or against simulation hypothesis actually existing in the real world as we do not have sufficient evidence to determine one way or another, this is merely a philosophical discussion of what it would mean to be in a simulation, is it right or wrong, how much of a mind bender the concept truly is. -
I cannot deal with the toxicity of the GBNews audience. So many people are missing the point entirely with the changes coming from the DWP. Always money for war, never for people in need of help. Such a pathetic species humans are.

Jaleel White will always be my favourite VA for Sonic the Hedgehog. You know if Sega and Hasbro were to ever do an MLP and Sonic crossover, it would be cool to have Jaleel White voice Sonic again, with Satam style animation for that character, not sure how that would mesh with the pastel characters for MLP G4.

Sega don't really push for expanding the lore of the franchise like they used to, they're half in half out so to speak. Then you get the nostalgia fanatics who say Sonic should not have humans besides Eggman. Right, like we are expected to believe it makes any logical sense for Dr Eggman to be the only human. That old controversy is dead now, but I remember that being kicked up in the fandom a long time ago by groups of people who are okay with Super Mario having friends, but not Sonic, and it has been a toxic legacy in the Sonic fandom ever since and it's one reason why Sega is too afraid to get ambitious with their creations.

I may be wrong about this assumption, but it's possibly because it makes their hands easier to draw. Be it Mickey Mouse in Disney cartoons or Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog cartoons like Satam, AoStH or Sonic Underground. No worries, Hasbro never had to worry about drawing fingers in MLP series with the exception of Equestria Girls. Ponies have hooves, not fingers or toes.

Some DVD R's are dodgy, if I cannot write to them due to bad sectors I simply bin them. They're not worth the effort, I do attempt secondary writes with them but if the second one fails but the next one works, all bets are off, the disc burner drive is fine but the DVD is not.
