  1. I want to arrange a session with a Counsellor but I am unsure what to discuss at the moment, I do have coping mechanisms for anxiety and other disabilities like learning difficulties at home but those coping mechanisms get shamed by the prejudice that exists in Britain, and I am not talking about drugs or alcohol. It can be something as simple as a "stress ball" in other words, a hobby, living with a Carer judging by posts I found on other sites, it sometimes feels like myself and everybody else in our situation are getting shamed for doing something as simple as purchasing and using pencils and paper to do drawings at home, or getting a book to read, or heaven forbid, watching videos on Youtube or a DVD at home, all because we are on sickness related welfare. And it's not only people commenting on GBNews and Daily Mail feeds that do it, it is other platforms as well, Facebook, X, Metro, you name it. I know I should not bring up financial information here, but when it's relevant to a problem you're dealing with, keeping quiet about it does not help either. It's bad enough not being able to work, to be blamed for it sucks even more. Walking on eggshells just to please other people is no way to live IMO.
  2. Plants truly are underappreciated parts of life. I know somebody who grows them in the garden outside the house I live at, bees need flowers and vice versa.
  3. A bit sad, wishing I could move out of UK but my family including my Carer would never agree to it. The ongoing stigmatization toward people on low incomes is nightmarish. I understand people are expected to work for a living but there is a minority who through circumstances outside their control, cannot. The stigmatization problem goes something along the lines of, they're on welfare, some of them after food, rent, electric/gas and water are paid for, if they can budget for it, may spend some left over to watch Netflix or other subscription TV channels as a coping mechanism, and other people expect them to just do without and be treated like prisoners. They don't even consider the possibility that whatever device they're using to watch those things, could have been gifted to them by a friend or relative who works, they make blanket statements claiming people shouldn't have them. The bigotry in my nation is disgusting.

Sparklefan Mane Six all seem like they would be wonderful friends to have if we were in that fantasy world with them. :) honestly I'd not feel comfortable picking favourites in that situation, they all have their positives. Applejack is assertive and honest, Applejack was helpful in Over a Barrel episode when she stuck up for Ponies in that town who needed their apple farm to live.

  6. Princess Luna at her best, what can I say? I love Luna Eclipsed episode, my favourite episode in season 2. So lovely to see other Ponies welcome her back, and for Twilight Sparkle to educate Pinkie Pie about the problems with spreading rumours about others, it's rude, disrespectful and in Princess Luna's case, it was denying her the opportunity to fit in with the rest of the crowd. She was Nightmare Moon, but in season 1 she said she was sorry, to Celestia, and had not been a problem for Equestrians since. No thanks to Pinkie Pie's fearmongering about Luna, some of the other Ponies actually did think Luna would eat them, but she was not going to, she never said that she would upon her arrival to Ponyville, honestly I think Pinkie Pie was out of line in this episode, and I am glad Twilight Sparkle told her to stop this, otherwise this would have been a bad episode for me, if the fear mongering had been allowed to go on unchecked. Pinkie Pie may have wanted to make Nightmare Night a "more joyous occasion" but what she did was akin to bullying, IMO. This is one of the few times where Pinkie Pie did annoy me with her actions, most of the time I can brush off her antics as a product of her innocence and naivety but this was wrong.
  7. I liked this episode Dragonshy, though it does not tick all the boxes it showed the nuances behind phobias with Fluttershy, I mean she had a good reason to fear adult dragons when they could potentially eat Ponies or burn down the homes of Ponies in Equestria, I think if I were a citizen living in Equestria as a Pegasi or any Pony, I too would be afraid of dragons for the same reason. The reason why Fluttershy was not afraid of Spike should have been obvious, yet some people still criticize that and miss the point entirely, perhaps it's because Fluttershy does not reasonably expect Spike to eat her or her friends? he is kinda little *sigh* Moving on, yeah Rainbow Dash charging at the dragon was not a wise move, but letting that dragon just pollute their town was not helping them either, they had to do something. Getting that dragon to move out of that cave was a needed course of action, how RD did it, was not helpful because it put all her friends at risk. Fluttershy was fortunate that the dragon had no interest in actually harming them, he wanted those Ponies to go away so he could sleep on his bed of gold, not understanding their issue. I don't know how I feel about her use of the stare on that dragon though, against that cockatrice in Stare Master it made sense why it would intimidate that creature, but a full sized dragon? that is less believable even with a lecturing Fluttershy gave. This is the first time we had seen Fluttershy getting assertive when faced with a problem, even then, that was contradicted in a later episode in Putting Your Hoof Down as Fluttershy seemed to have trouble asserting her boundaries until she took toxic advice from Iron Will, then learning from her mistake, asserts herself to her misbehaving pet Bunny named Angel.
  8. I thought it was a good episode, I voted 4/5. It looks to me the point of the episode was to teach audiences of all ages the importance of compromise, and that just because another side disagrees with us, does not make them evil, and the same can be true for people from both sides of a conflict. Buffalo and Ponies coming together and finding that compromise was cute I must say, they cleared a path through the apple tree plantation for Buffalo to migrate through, at the same time Ponies in that town got to keep their farm. When there is a mutual benefit there is no point in fighting, because everybody is getting a share of the resources that they need.
  9. Other than cleaning up and talking with family members? I sat and listened to music on Youtube, trying not to get too stressed out about things. Some things are beyond the scope of what we can do to do anything about, complaining does not help when it leads to stress and ruins sleep patterns. Good to know people here care though.

  11. I don't get the premise of Equestria Girls, we have so many stories about humans even without that fiction, not only that but it's kind of silly, think about it, them entering a world where they could potentially clash with warlords and perhaps even be killed, does not make any logical sense, and while characters in MLP do fight evildoers, they do so on the basis of survival and common sense more than anything else, they're not Justice League. I don't know about every other MLP fan on this website but I cannot help but feel like Ponies in MLP would find the human world to be toxic. Yes not all humans are evil, however there is still a significant chunk of the population who are aggressive and dangerous.
  12. And they kept Spike awake, isn't that great? also Rarity was too. And it was all the other five members of Mane Six fault.
  13. It wholly depends on what world is being created even a computer generated world based on your own fantasy would be dependent on your imagination that went into making it, whatever it may be, and human decision making is not perfect, mistakes happen. What if the computer generated world involved you being in a world where you were a superhero like from Marvel or DC? let us ignore the copyright implications in this hypothetical situation for a moment and discuss what would happen if you could exist in such a world, you would then have to deal with the same risks and tragedies that those characters do, including villains killing loved one's. Sure, you could still have an "afterlife" system in the VR world to backup the conscious mind of individuals so that they were not erased from the simulation, but that does not change the fact that hardships will be felt.

  15. Good, I want to get a Princess Luna plushie and Fluttershy plushie, they're so cute I hope I have good dreams about them when I sleep. Even a fictional character can be dreamed about, perhaps my brain may give me a nice dream of Luna getting rid of a monster in a nightmare or something like that.
  16. In this part of Jumanji, the way Van Pelt screamed while being shot off by that boat with makeshift air jets :D

Oscar worthy acting if I ever saw one.

  17. "Out with the old in with the new" not original but it works, given what I did today, getting rid of some old items I don't need.
  18. At least Equestrians put a stop to their warlords though, I cannot say the same about real life, humans. Storm King is demonstrably monstrous, I agree, he was killed at the end, I have not sat through the whole film yet but what I will say is there is some accurate details about pirates in that movie, real pirates were involved in slave trading. And as dark as that is, I think people who created MLP movie took a good direction with their story, if audiences find it too disturbing, including Storm King getting shattered to pieces after petrification at the end, don't watch it is what I would suggest. While I like the whimsical aspect of MLP FIM and many other people do also, we can appreciate some mature themes being buried beneath.
  19. It's cool that you like that picture of MLP I sent you pal, I like that scene from episode 1 part 2 of MLP about Princess Luna and Princess Celestia reuniting, ending their fight. Luna deserves cuddles she received from Celestia, two beautiful sisters in an emotional moment. Not all fights end in real life, but that episode does show that it takes great courage to admit being sorry and that empathy is better than violence.

No worries, also that convinced me that neither Celestia or Luna are evil, and they genuinely care about each other as well as other Ponies in their kingdom in MLP. They're beautiful representatives of the fictional world of Equestria IMO.

  20. Thinking about selling stuff I don't need or use, taking up space in my room. I've got a bunch of games that I never even played, and are really better off being given to somebody else. I like gaming but waste is waste. I am keeping my Nintendo Switch and its games though, it's still a good platform.
  21. Just thinking about how My Little Pony FIM episode Over a Barrel was so cute Honestly the fact that they came to a compromise to live peacefully with Buffalo and make a path through the apple farm for them to stampede through, really tells me there is something inherently good about Mane Six and their friends or associates they share the world with. And this reminds me why I love the show so much. I understand there was a fight before the compromise took place, however Ponies living in that town worked hard to build what they did there, and they needed their apple plantation to survive. Applejack had a valid point about this, and I don't blame her pointing this out to Rainbow Dash.
  22. Me too, a dystopian world would be too much for me Yeah a heaven-like dimension is allowed in this Q&A of a hypothetical simulated VR world, in that case you would not have war, disease and famine to worry about, and it would come with minimal risks or unexpected drawbacks.
  23. I do want to get MLP plushies, I do see the appeal of that Snoopy Fan, but sometimes I worry if I would get judged for that or called babyish. I am not in any way saying you are, in fact you collecting plushies, despite the criticism that may come, is brave.
  24. That's a nice view to have, absolutely they all contributed to the story big or small, the show would not be the success it is if it was not for them. They gave each character their voices and personalities, entertained us with humour and fun, and that is something to be grateful for.
