  1. Orange - Applejack, Oranges, Cats Panther - Black, Fast, Kitty Confused, Startled, Worried I don't know about the first two, but the third one is pretty accurate.
  2. Fluttershy had woken up a little late that day, but went straight to her usual routines. She made sure the animals were fed and well. She checked to make sure she wasn't running low on anything. She would have to go shopping soon. Maybe make that tomorrow's priority. For now, she had to focus on tending to that injured bird. The earthquake startled her and all the animals. She tried hard to keep them calm, but some of them were too frightened to listen. It wasn't until after it passed that she finally was able to calm them down. She looked around and realized the result left quite a mess. She sighed, knowing she'd be spending the rest of the day cleaning up.
  3. * Commas between answers indicate multiple correct answers. Q: What is the name of the first villain? A: Nightmare Moon Q: How many Elements of Harmony are there? A: Six, 6 Q: Name any two characters from the show. A: Any two characters from the show. Q: What is the name of this character? [Randomly generated image of one of the mane six] A: The correct name for that character. Q: Which of these ponies is a unicorn? [Multiple choice] - Rarity - Cheerilee - Spitfire A: Rarity I was trying to come up with questions that a younger audience could answer, thus the easiness of these questions. Here are some questions I'd rather be asking, which are still easy if you're a brony. Q: Who is best pony? There's going to be that one guy that gets this wrong and gets mad at me Q: %20 cooler in... Q: LOUDER!!!! Q: Pinkie Pie's full name? Q: For I oh-so love the groom, all my thoughts he does consume! Oh Shining Armor... See, those aren't very hard for a brony. For a non-brony, these are the questions that will get them.
  4. There's a story written about that, which is where I found out the the male Applejack is still called Applejack. I'm currently reading it. http://www.fimfiction.net/story/755/On-a-Cross-and-Arrow It's not a light read, I've only started.
  5. Okay so I've been doing a little research, and I've very confused on this. Applebuck is the male Applebloom, and the male Applejack is Applejack. I'm wondering what happened that in all the fandom not a single person could come up with some name differenciation for the male Applejack? Give me five minutes and Google. -6 minutes later- Done. Alexander. It's a type of apple. Know what it looks like? This. http://hortuscamden.com/images/plants/Apple_Alexander.jpg
  6. Twilight became the Element of Magic because magic is her special talent. Celestia, who preceeded her, was also very skileld at magic, being able to raise the sun. As silvadel said, the next Element of Magic will be a pony who is also skilled at magic, though probably not one with that specific special talent. Twilight also used magic to create the second generation of the Elements of Harmony (as I call them, at least). I don't imagine Rarity could've done this. And it's possible neither could Celestai herself, seeing as she sent Twilight to go and make some friends to retrieve the Elements with. So to get to the point: Twilight didn't become the Element of Magic because of her friendship, but because of her skill at magic.
  7. Was it ever actually stated that Celestia and Luna don't have any other siblings? I don't recall as much. I do recall it being said that they learned to control the Sun and Moon, but nothing about not having other siblings. Trust me, the very first moment I heard Rarity mention a nephew I turned to my friend and asked "How?" He said, theorhetically, that they're not the only ones.
  8. The concept of Rarity being a colt is the I found the most amusing, because you have a male character being the one to design all the dresses for his friends, be that neat-sensitive guy that makes others litterally do his dirty work, and will complain unashamedly when put into conditions that are less than satisfactory. Snobby-rich kid anyone? As I stated, Rainbow Dash would provide the least dramatic change if becoming a colt. Though Applejack or Fluttershy would makes things interesting. Probably more so Applejack. As for the "If Twilight was a colt" fanfic. I can't find it with a quick-google search, but if I find the time I may look for it. Sounds, at the very least, like an interesting read.
  9. I just randomly got the idea that, and stay with me on this one, what if one of the mane six was a colt instead of a mare. Keep in mind that amongst the six of the mthey are the only colt. So I'd like to hear some opinions on how this slight change would affect particular moments in the story for those characters. Here's what I think: Twilight - If Twilight was a colt instead of a mare, then... He'd go to Ponyville and when Nightmare Moon appears have five mare follow him into the Everfree Forests... For the record, I'm completely winging it as I type this up, so I'm just now realizing how awkward that actually turns out to be. Though Twilight does idolize Celestia.. Almost a bit too much... If she were a he then this would obviously have to be toned down, elsewise be confused as deeper feelings, which actually doesn't sound too bad, but not much of a plot point... And I am immediately reminded of Adventure Time. Moving on from that. The colt Twilight would probably handle "Lesson Zero" a bit differently, though the end result would likely be the same. I don't think there are too many episodes that would be affected greatly with this change, but the Season 2 finale definitely would be, as now you have a different point of view to put into consideration when they're considering why Twilight would be trying to ruin the wedding. Pinkie Pie - Now if Pinkie Pie was a colt, then his hyperactive personality would be.. Oh dear Celestia he'd be that one guy that everyone knows who's always making bad jokes about everything, even in the most awkward of times, you know that guy? That guy that sometimes you're not sure if you should be paying attention or not, but then you wind up doing so anyways because they're practically impossible to ignore. Not that tehy're attention hogs or anything; they just don't realize they're doing it and you're too nice to tell them the truth until that one epically serious moment when the one person is completely ****** at the world and just snaps at him and makes him feel bad... Yeah, that guy. Applejack - Okay, this should be easy. If Applejack was a colt then his personality probably wouldn't be affected much. Actually, I don't think there'd really be any drastic change at all if Applejack were a colt instead... Hey, that was easy. I'll get back to this if I think of anything. [After finishing Rainbow Dash] Actually, I thought of something. I'm not trying to cause controversy on this one, just opening a suggestion that there probably is already a dozen fanfics off but I'm too afraid to check for fear of being right. Anyways, this is for the girls to think about. Just who is Applejack? She's an honest and deep caring character that will always do her best to help her friends. And let's be honest, has she really ever messed up? She's strong and hard-working, and... Yeah, she can pretty much be the ebodiment of karma. She's nice when you are, but... You've seen when she wasn't so nice. The point I'm trying to get across is, how would you feel about a male character with these characteristics? If you ask me a male version of Applejack would probably be quite the ladies' man. Rainbow Dash - I know what you're all thinking; it's Rainbow Dash, so no change at all, right? Yeah, probably. His personality would stay the same, his opinions wouldn't change, and he'd still be hot-headed at times. The biggest affect it would have is the shipping people are so insistent on for some reason would just become even more popular. [Have you realized the order I've been doing this in yet?] Rarity - If Rarity were a colt he'd still be into fashion, but probably a bit less of a dramatic character (or not, it'd probably still be funny). While still designing outfits for female characters, he may also have some attention set on designing for male characters as well. I'm trying to think of specific situations where this would be relevent, but... This is why other people exist. Other people think of things you can't. Other people, help me out here. Alright, last one. Fluttershy - I didn't save her for any special reason, and if you figured out the pattern I chose then you know why Fluttershy is last. Coincidentally, this is the one that interests me almost as much as if Twilight was a colt. If Fluttershy was a colt, he'd still be quiet, submissive, and insecure. But while everyone finds Fluttershy cute and adorable, this character would be pittied and, imo, probably even more defensless than Fluttershy is. I can't help but think that this change would put even more emphasis on this character than already exists. Anyways, that's just what I think. And as I said (assuming you read all that), pick certain episodes and experiment with what differences you think there'd be if any one of these characters was a colt instead. Comment with what you found.
  10. If by "Zombies games" you mean the Call of Duty series, then his voice actor is Nolan North. If you meant a different game series, then I can't help you.
  11. I would not be able to do any vocie acting of my own. I hate the sound of my voice on a mic. Besides, I always imagined Susntream with the voice of John Burgmeier when he did Kurama (Yu Yu Hakusho). I know this voice sounds a bit more serious, but this is what I'm going for with him based on his backstory.
  12. Perhaps you could develop some sort of Admin exam to make sure that anyone who is up for consideration can handle the responsibilities. It would at least give you something to go off of when making a decision. Unless, of course, you have already have this and everything I'm typing is a complete waste of time. Though if you don't have one and are interested I can help develop one.
  13. It's never stated that the animals she cares for belong to other ponies, so we can conclude that most of them are wild animals she cares for. It's possible she recieves donations for this from various sources, as well as individual payment from ponies who need someone to watch their pet for them. While she does act like a vet, we did see where Twilight brought Spike to an actual vet, which means that Fluttershy likely works on her own, as we see everytime we see her working with animals. I'm definitely going with donations.
  14. Consider this: Time is a human concept. The word originated out of necessity as a way to describe the passing of day and night. Fact: Senses are how we percieve reality. Sight, Touch, Taste, Sound, and Smell are the five common senses, and are recognized as such. But these are not what we are limited to. I was going to give a list, but that would've gotten off-topic, so I'll just skip to the point. "Chronoception refers to how the passage of time is perceived and experienced. Although the sense of time is not associated with a specific sensory system the work of psychologists and neuroscientists indicates that human brains do have a system governing the perception of time, composed of a highly distributed system involving the cerebral cortex, cerebellum and basal ganglia. One particular component, the suprachiasmatic nucleus, is responsible for the circadian (or daily) rhythm, while other cell clusters appear to be capable of shorter-range (ultradian) timekeeping." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Senses#Time And if you're too lazy to read that or don't fully understand, it basically says that, like all senses, there is a part of the body in control this perception, though it's irregular as there is no particular organ specifically devoted to it. Your perception of time, the idea that "time is relative," comes from the fact that time may pass slowly in one situation, whereas you'll lose track of it in another. My theory behind all this is that because certain parts of the brain are what give us our perception of time, rather than a seperate organ to monitor it, the brain will not always be able to put full effort into keeping track of time for you, such as when you find yourself day dreaming, and then realize 10 minutes have passed you by. Or if you're not particularly distracted and are more focused on the passage of time, your brain will instinctively focus more on how much time has passed, making time to seem to take longer. Thus, "a watched pot never boils." As for the theory that time moves in a seperate dimension that affects our reality. I can't prove nor disprove this beyond what I've stated above, and tbh it's a bit far out of my grasp. So I'll end by saying that time is relative, but consider what you're proposing with this "plane of existence that passes through different time periods like an elevator that just keeps going up as the tower is built." If you can certainly defend it, then that's interesting, but I think that this proposition, and several similar that I've heard in the past, is a bit too complex for reality to maintain and balance.
  15. Tbh I'm kind of disappointed. When I Saw "Anotehr battle won" I thought it was going to be a story about getting into an argument with a hater and coming out on top. But, you know, if you go on Kongregate then I guess this is just as good, so conrgatulations.
  16. I didn't say I didn't like the song, I just said that it's making me paranoid to read the fic. The song was actually pretty good. Why is it not on iTunes?
  17. Actually, I've only read three so far. I'm in the process of a fourth, but I'm still waiting for the author to update. I'm bad at picking favorites so I'll just list them off. First one I read was My Little Dashie. I did not cry... Really, I didn't. What? You saw water in my eyes? I don't know what you're talking about. Second was this one: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8496122/1/A-Date-Over-the-Rainbow To get a couple of things straight: - I do not actually think that any of the character on the show are of the homosexual preference. - I do not support nor disapprove of any fan-pairings except for those involving OCs, in which case it depends. I needed something to read to kill time, and I figured I'd give one the benefit of the doubt. I chose carefully based on description, and I think I chose wisely. This was very well written and had great character knowledge. I couldn't have done better myself. The most recent one I read was.... *shudders*.... Cupakes... I have nothing to say. And my friend wants me to read Rainbow Factory next. I heard the song, I'm already paranoid about it.
  18. I was mostly enjoying until the ending when they appeared. [spoiler prevention for those who haven't read it yet.] I really don't agree with that part. ANYTHING else would've made a better ending.
  19. There, now we have something to work off of. I'll see what I can do towards at least one unique character for Cirrus' raider clan. While working on a character for my own fiction, a friend of mine showed me this. I hope it helps.
  20. I'd be glad to help. If you have a summary, just send it to me and we'll begin discussing thoughts. Be sure to include a list of all OCs, incorporating - Gender, Species, and special talent - Personality and opinions - Backstory, if any I look forward to it.
  21. How many raiders in the clan that picked up Cirrus? Mostly curiosity. How many characters do you actually have planned? For example, the raider clan requries a leader, do you already have one picked out? If you could put up what positions need to be filled, it'll be easier for everypony to submit something.
  22. Oh, I'm taking my time to do the planning. It's become a lot more than what I originally planned for it. I'm also being very careful with it for consistancy reasons.
