Guitar tone is really fun, though. The singer's voice sounds kind of like that guy from Volumes. Good ol' Sabbath! As much as you guys and the whole metal community praised it, I never actually gave Parallax 2 a listen through. I loved Colors and thought Parallax was nifty, so why the fuck didn't I listen to this sooner? I listened to every song a few times and I just did not like it. Flash-forward half a year, and now I'm loving it. It's reminiscent of their older work, but different, which I like. It's definitely their best effort since Catch 33, to say the least.
