My issue with a lot of Death songs, is that the pace of the song is hard to follow...That's my same issue with Slayer. It just sounds....jumbled to me sometimes.

Yeah i get what your saying.Technical speed metals not for everyone. If you wanna hear a super technical really hard to follow music give this a listen. I hadto listen to this like 10 times before I even knew what was happening.

Out of the Big 4, I prefer Slayer the least. They completely went downhill after Seasons In The Abyss. Anthrax has to be my favorite of the 4. :3

I've been getting back into Oh, Sleeper recently.

 

Oh, Sleeper is awesome. Do you listen to Underoath or As I Lay Dying? They're my two favourite metalcore bands.

 

In terms of death metal, does anyone here listen to Cannibal Corpse? They're pretty awesome.

 

At the moment I'm listening to Obituary's album "Cause of Death." Another great death metal band.
