I'm 26.  I wish that I was 8 years old again.   :)

Does anybody else feel like crawling back into the womb? :)

I'm 16, I'm treated like a child and spoken to in a condescending by almost every adult, but I'm expected to be mature and have all sorts of responsibilities on top of exam stress. I'm also expected to know what I want to do with the rest of my life.

Also I'm too young to drive or fly or go to cons I really want to because of my parents still being in charge of my life and stuff.

Being 13,

-It's terrible to like MLP:FiM and Thomas the Tank Engines

-In fact, a lot of the stuff I do would be considered weird.

-Thanks to hormones, I have a bit of a temper.

-Middle School sucks

-I pretty much HAVE to own a cellphone (which I don't. I don't really like dealing with all that contract business, if you know what I mean.)

-I have to like crappy memes/youtube channels that aren't even that funny (PewDiePie, Doge, etc.)

-I want to be younger, but at the same time I want to be older.

-If I say I don't like anything people at my school like (Call of Duty, Seth MacFarlene shows, Xbox 360, etc.), I'm a terrible person.

-I have started what is considered probably the worst age group ever.

Overall, I want to be 7-11 years old again! D:

I'm 16, so there's a lot.

I guess memes are annoying. I hate acne, and being in public school.

This. Being in an awkward stage where you're still babied and expected to have responsibilities is frustrating sometimes.

It's the last couple years before you're somewhat on your own. Expecting it, planning it, but not really knowing what's going to happen. I think there's a maturity curve right here that makes it hard for adults to know how to talk to you.

12 in English age, 13 in Chinese age.

-I do not like One Direction. Jazz is my type. Wait, you won't be my friend anymore? Oookay. No wasted opportunities there. Sheesh.

-Hormones. Bloody hormones. I just sometimes shout at people for no reason. And that honestly makes me feel terrible.

-Seeing snarky comments about 'eight graders' online.

-I'm not allowed to like Disney movies for some reason despite the fact that nearly all of them were nominated for Oscars and sometimes won.

-Nor am I allowed to like MLP, Warner Brothers or musicals.

-People assume that I claim to like stuff like Pokemon just to be 'cool' excuse me I have played every game in the series

-'Nerd' is a negative adjective in my school.

-Would post something here, but it's related to female issues.

I'm 24. Things I hate about it:

-My age doesn't match my appearance. I'm really short and generally young-looking: people say I look about 18-19. It's so embarrassing being in my mid-twenties and being carded whole buying r-rated movies or getting suspicious/unapproving looks when I buy some beer.

-The idea of the ticking biological clock. All of a sudden everyone wants to know when I'm getting married and having kids.

-I'm too old to act like a kid, but too young to get along with older folks (all they ever want to talk about is their kids. NO THANKS.)

-People are starting to see my interest in MLP, Hello Kitty, and other typically "young" things as a waste of time

-Friends my age are starting to get lame. I still want to go out, drink, and dance... Other people are content sitting at home watching Netflix and then going to bed at 9PM

Problems with being 11....

1. Having fear of the drama and extra homework in 6th grade

2. Hating getting older

3. People confusing you to be older than what you really are

4. Hoping you don't get acne when your twelve

Problems with being 11 when your a girl....

1. You grow fonder of shopping (which I am NOT fond of.. yet)

2. You start to care what people think (as if)

3. You get yelled at for being snippy, then when you deny it you get yelled at more

4. You get pressured into doing things you don't wanna do!

All of these are from personal experiences!

Yeah, tell me about it. When you're 16 (like me), you REALLY want to go to all these conventions (I would have loved to have gone to the Too Many Games Expo of this year), but you realize that you're still in school, and if you're in my position, don't have a driver's license, or even a permit. :(

I'm recently turned 21.

-Everyone expects me love love alcohol. I don't.

-I don't feel nearly as mature or responsible as I thought I would by now.

-had this experience when I turned 18 too, when I thought being this old would give me all the answers. I'm still as confused as I ever was.

Let's see, I'm 27... Things I hate about being 27...

  • I look younger than I am. People usually assume my younger sister is older than me, not just that, but that she's older than I actually am! Being short doesn't help my case though I guess.
  • Even though I'm very mature, I don't feel as old as I am.
  • People judge you for liking cartoons and toys, telling you to grow up and throw those things out.
  • I can't hang out with the younger crowd that I seem to get along with better.
  • Things have been rough for me the past 10 years and I still don't have my life together. If I want to gripe about it, people once again just tell you something like "welcome to being an adult".
  • I'm unemployed and because of my age, "lack of experience" (grew up on a working farm which doesn't count I guess), lack of a piece of paper... most places just seem to brush me aside.
  • I've always felt I was born in the wrong generation and would have fit in better living my life during the 50s. As much as I love technology, things overall seemed simpler.
  • I've only had one girlfriend and any I get from this point forward are probably more interested in getting married and having kids, two things I'm not so sure about. I just want to be with someone basically. Of course we need to get along great and all that but... different topic.

I'm 17 and I hate

-The effect puberty has on your hormones

-Acne

-Most people my age

Frankly there aren't alot of things I really DISLIKE about my age, but I am looking forward to all the privileges that come with being 18, like being able to purchase M rated games on my own, being able to vote, generally not needing my parents' permission for things, etc.

Oh, and being able to "legally" watch porn :P

Being 22 kind of sucks.  I've done all I needed to do in college, now I just have to find a decent job.  But in my area, I am either too old with too much experience or too young with not enough experience for certain jobs.  But the thing I hate the most is that everyone in my family and extended family demands that I drink because I legally can.  The only problem, as I have told them before, is that I don't like to drink!  I'm fine with it, but they keep nagging and nagging, almost forcing me to drink at least two or three bottles of beer every visit.  And they wonder why I never want to hang out with them at family events or dinners anymore.

I am 28, I hate the fact that like most adults I have to whore myself out to an employer who dosen't give a shit about me in a job that has no future and in addition to all that crap have to deal with knee injuries which make me question whether I can even physically handle my own job anymore. I intend to change all of this and actually find something I like to do that dosen't destroy my body and my spirit yet can still earn me a decent living. I am not afraid of hard work, I am just tired of getting screwed over and having nearly all of the responsibilities of adulthood with not nearly enough of that actual benefits of it.

I'm 15

Can't drive, so there's no real reason in dating yet

High school is a hellhole

There are so many things I want but can't buy because I can't drive to the job I don't have

I'm supposed to be getting drunk and high and banging chicks every weekend but I don't like living that way

too young to be counted as an adult, but I'm old enough to be expected to behave like one

Im 16

People think im weird because I never had a girlfriend

I can't buy the TV MA animes I want ( like Elfen Lied, I can buy next year though)

I love my friends but most of them live their lives on their phones (selfies, instagram, texting instead of talking)

I feel I should have been born in a different generation because people in mine don't have their heads on straight.

I'm 16:

People say I'm too old to like MLP (and the wrong sex)

People say I'm a noob, because I'm younger than the ESRB ratings say I have to be to play most games I play.

My sexual urges are unbelievable.

People say I'm extremely self-centered, and use my age as proof. BS. May seem like it though.

I feel somewhat imprisoned, and can't move because of my age. Texas is no home. Not at all homely.

People say I'm supposed to be strong. Oh am I not. I'm like Clinkz from DotA in the strength department. About. Maybe A LOT LESS.

I have to endure the horse shit that is high school melodrama.

Im 13

-People keep telling me to 'grow up'

-My mom complains about me being on the computer too much when most kids my age are on the computer as well

-My sister keeps telling me to wear makeup and shes younger then me!

-Most kids in my school act all 'OH MY GOD!' and try to force me into their little 'groups'

-and even If I am a 13 year old female, people still keep telling me to stop watching MLP. I'm just like 'well look at the population of viewers...I'm considered 'not normal' in this fandom because I'm actually about the right age and gender!' then I give them a stupid silly look and they give me that 'grow up' crap again... (I don't have anything against you guys though, I'm actually best friends with bronies...)

-I also feel like I have to hide my age when I post my art, because most people my age can't do digital art yet...

24 here.

Family doesn't get why i like animation, thinking i "should have grown from cartoons and all that childish things".

Can't enjoy pokemon because "it's for kids".

Younger people think i'm some old responsible adult... (yeah right, me? Responsible? That'll be the day).

Older people think i'm too young.

Losing my hair color (natural Pigment loss, i'll probably end with a full white/grey hair by my 30th birthday).

I hate my job, i hate my boss, i don't want a fat loan or a steady financial plan. I just want to enjoy life as they go on, not all this headache.

It's ironic. I always wanted to be older when i was a kid. When you're finally standing on that hill, you realize that there's nothing special on the top of it.
