That match the other night sucked. Hello, it's not enough to have possession of the ball most of the time, England team, unless it hits the back of the net! Well I suppose that getting thru to the next stage is the best that the England men's team have done for ages, tho they've got a lot to do before they can equal the women's team. :P

France won against Iceland 5-2. I'm a bit sad for Iceland, they make a really great team, even though I was rooting (and I still am) for France.

 

So coming up :

Wales/Portugal next Wednesday,

And France/Germany next Thursday.

I will be honest now. Whoever wins the France-Germany game will win the euros. I can't see neither Wales or Portugal to have the class of either france or germany.

 

But at the same time, Wales could pull off another Denmark/Greece these euros. But on paper, it's france or germany.

I really hope Wales wins.  The game vs. Belgium was awesome!  I feel like Germany is going to win in the end though sadly, just my guess.

Well, it was kinda rough last night and of course dissapointing. But i must say, i don't really know why so many people in germany, are so unhappy with our team. After all, we managed to go under the best 4, in the last 6 major tournaments. We where second at the euros 2008 and became world champions just 2 years ago.

 

I don't want to sound arrogant. But there are nations, that can only dream of this consistency and i am very proud of the players we have, eventhough France was better then us last night. :)


And just on a side note. Happy 2nd anniversary:

Brighton started life in the premier league this Saturday (still hasnt sunk in yet that we've actually made it!) with a 2-0 loss to Manchester city. Wasn't expecting a result against the favourites to win the league this year. Regardless of the outcome, I'm just gonna enjoy the ride..
