I made the thread with an explicit focus on people being allowed to put whatever OC they wanted in here, long as it wasn't a Mary Sue or godlike character, and I won't change that since frankly, creative freedom rules. And to tackle those you mentioned

 

Alicorn: We have none. Like literally, the only Alicorns played currently are the canon princesses that Seamore handles. We've had a few in our time here, granted, but none of them have been anywhere near as powerful as the princesses.

 

Vampire: Don't be rude, they're called bat Ponies. (Unless you talk about Zinthar, who isn't a vampire. He's a cat that were experimented on with a series of potential longevity spells. The blood fuels the extra years)

 

Zombie: Equestria is full of magic, and necromancy is a magical trait. Random weird stuff happening (mutations) have also been shown in the show as canon, though mostly it's temporarily there. It'd be strange if it were a deal where the zombies spread, but since it isn't, either of the aforementioned things fits.

 

Half Phoenix: What have the world come to when a pony and a flaming bird can't mingle? Not really stranger than ponies and dragons, or the whole deal with Dr. Whooves and Derpy. :3

you could also just highlight some of their text, and click "@mention", so you just mention them rather than quoting a whole bunch of stuff. another thing you can do is highlight a specific portion, and then just quote that portion.

that's kinda what my character is tbh. i just don't share any physical appearence properties. i think that's a part of my character i didn't mention in my character's bio because i enjoy it to be more of a mystery but i don't think it really matters.

We can set you as accepted, though I'm gonna have to say that this likely can't be part of the main storyline, as with all the chaos in town and the business at the hospital, somepony would likely have taken notice of Blood Drops. Still, a side adventure ain't bad either. Anything you'd want to in particular, or do you think writing a small intro on how you broke out of the hospital and then taking it from there would work?

 

She moves town when she starts to hear about any of her activities. Shes just moved to a new town, so her actives won't be reported for a month or so, so she should be ok for awhile. I made a post as well.

Now then, we have the option of a main storyline (currently it is rebuilding after an attack on ponyville by a giant monster the day before) a stand alone adventure, or starting somewhere outside town and then slide you into things eventually. Which might it be?

 

Bonus info: Since your OC owns a courier business (not sure if only him, but applies regardless) you should known that I have a businesspony from Canterlot that is being hectically trying to get letters out to various places as fast as he can to get more supplies for the rebuilding of the damaged parts of Ponyville. Might be that, to try and catch up on things, he could come to your place of business and use your services as he can't get more mailmares to fly around than he already does. Several others that needs to send and receive mail after the attack of course.

 

Could also have that he were already hired to get various minor things that didn't weigh a ton, but had crucial things that he couldn't wait long on getting there. He'd pay extra for a dedicated courier for those sorts of things. His name is Clayton Quartz if it is, current NPC; might be more later on.

 

Other idea to be found too, just figured this might call to what I can see of your OC already. ^^ We can figure something else out if you prefer.

I'm so, so, so sorry for the delay in this. :/ Been some hectic days and I completely forgot to check the OOC for stuff. I'll go through things with you now.

 

Big thanks to @@Hazard Time, and @@~Phoenix~, for handling the first few phases I missed here first though. Seems like you needed some help and they were thankfully able and around to get that done. Thanks mates.

 

Now then, to the character, it's simple and to the point, without something akin to *I can destroy the universe with a thought!* so I'm totally fine with it. Consider yourself approved.

 

As for how to get you into things, there is several ways, but since you seem to want to easily slide into the RP currently and your post mentions financial issues in the family, that makes him go look for a job... I have a pretty direct suggestion actually.

 

A few days ago, I made a quick NPC (background character essentially, though sometimes they grow into more) called Clayton Quartz, who owns his own construction company with his main seat being in Canterlot. He is also active on the trading market for gems and as such, he's pretty well off. However, he also deals poorly with stress, and have many things he needs to get done right now, which leaves him sorely lacking an assistant. You see where I'm getting at?

 

If you think Thunder Crush could do well in basic clerical work, like filing and sending paper, walking around and writing things down at times when Clayton haves meeting and deals that needs to be taken care of, and at times shake him out of a spell where he's standing around and nervously babbling off endlessly (Might take him a bit to realize when the best time for this would be, but he's forgiving, so no worries there) we can have him written in as that. He's just gone off towards the Ponyville Post Office and away from the one I had him writing with before, so he's free for the time being.

 

If you want us to find another idea, we totally can, I just figure that this would be fine as it also pops you softly into the main story currently, which is a day after the attack on Ponyville, when they're trying to rebuild.

 

(Sidenote, there is a few that is still taking place on the day, but those are mainly between me and Seamore as it is, so it should be fine to read the difference. Let me know if it isn't of course though)

 

We could either go with meeting Clayton at the postal office or on the way there, they talk, and Clayton - for whatever reason that would show itself in the RP - would hire Thunder for the time being to help him with the current stress before it sends him into a corner. There'll be a lot of talking, both so he can learn more about your OC and because talk relaxes him in the long run. Somewhat mundane things does surprisingly well, like where one is from etc.

 

Thunder could also have been working for him for a few months, and would arrive in Ponyville after Clayton had sent for him to show up. I think that usually, he'd have Thunder around with him to things, but he hadn't originally taken him along in this scenario because there were things that needed to be filed, and it seemed like a simple trip that wouldn't require a lot of out him and would give Thunder a bit of time to just relax. Clayton isn't a bad boss or a snob after all. I can't write those kinds well enough. (Or perhaps I can, but don't want to. Either one)

 

In any case, he could've sent for him when it turned out to be going worse than he originally anticipated then, and it could start with Thunder finding him in Ponyville. It's up to you how they met before in this scenario, though potentially, he arrived at the pony's office looking for a job, or met him randomly out and about and Thunder helped him calm down, and it went from there. Just some suggestions at least.

 

And that is what both things here are: Suggestions. if it doesn't work for you, then fair enough, we'll think of something else. Just figured that this could work out if it were. ^^ And if you do consider it, but need more info on Clayton, lemme know, and I'll whip something up. I can make a background in a jiffy.

That suggestion is really nice one, but I feel that my OC is not the business type, he's a little more adventuress. He would be bored out of his mind having that kind of job. I feel that if my character had met Clayton back in the day as fillies and then came across him again later, that would be a better way of putting it. He could then go from there as helping Clayton as a friend and not so much as a co-worker. This leaves room so that my OC's personality doesn't get mixed up or interfered. Does that sound doable?

Basically, he would be the shy pony mostly wandering in corners or near walls, keeping to himself and having a small voice, as he would be afraid of scorn or disapproving looks. He would be desperate for a friend, but not able to get himself to seek one out, so you would have had to take the first step. He'd be easy to make do things too, so he'd be the Robin to your Batman, so to speak.

 

He didn't grow up wealthy, and was in the lower rung classes in Canterlot for awhile before his parents had to move and take him with him. Some letters were likely exchanged between the two of them some time after this, but it is unlikely that the two of them have met for years, and likely not corresponded either. Although, if you want to work with the writing between eachother to this day still, that's okay too.

 

If they aren't still writing, he'd likely not know that Clayton came back to Canterlot, or that he made a business (Name pending, but I'm thinking Quartz Construction thus far. Haves a nice ring to it) though it's not a small business per se, so he might have heard about it. Depends how much he goes in Canterlot really.

Thinking over things, Blood actually could be in town during the current commotions there, if you want her in the main story. Wasn't thinking right that night I responded the previous thing it seems, because there'd be enough strange ponies and such around that it might actually be easier for her to sneak in.

 

Let me know if you want that, but for now, I'll make it unspecific, just in case.

Okay... Not sure where your story is going anymore right now I'm afraid, though I can say that Mentis at least isn't in town from what I know. His OC is at some unspecified place in the Everfree, though I think currently at the two sisters castle. The part with him that Denim answers to are pretty much the same far as I know, with some being further in the forest.

Hey! At the current t rate things are, I plan on having Phoenix stumble uppon ponyville. Unfortunately, I havn't been keeping up with anyone except for who my character has interacted with, so I don't really know who is currently there.

 

Just letting you know so hopefully you can tell me who is there at the moment, and so that I can also plan to run into those characters

I suggested that to BlinkZ the last time he were around, but it didn't work out then either it seemed. :/ A pity, but it cannot work for all I suppose.

 

As for who is in Ponyville, there is a lot of characters actually. Remember though, that the timezone you're in is the day after the attack. The locals are mostly trying to cope with what happened, tend to their ill ones, or being put to work by Last Stand, who is leading the rebuilding efforts.

 

The list on who is there is fairly long though, but... Thus far, just think that most of the regular pony chars are there, and not many of the irregular ones. Also, on't be confused by Briar being there technically. He is amongst the few that is still RP'ing out the events of the day before to conclude that. I just moved it past that for all the new ones and such because it was easier for all to jump into, and the things going on there were mostly loose ends anyway. ^^

 

Also, I know I didn't mention our group in the post, but I need Flinp input before I can do that. Remember though, that technically, you and Deadpan aren't with him right now, so you don't need to wait for me at least if it were.
