I'm going on a school trip to London on Monday, and I won't really be back until Sunday. So, I'll (probably) not be able to respond to any RP things.

So starting Monday, don't wait for my responses, and just imagine Frosty just walking with the group, not saying anything, thinking about something else entirely.

He's sort of like Aku from Samurai Jack (his hands mostly), but is rounded more like a cartoon ghost and has a face that looks like it belongs on a jackolantern.

About as tall as a house, but his form isn't entirely solid, it varies. Right now he has a couple extra arms, but he's not moving.

Alright here's hoping I might be allowed to join a RP. I do have an OC I created, check this out.

 

Age: 17 Gender: Male Species: Pegasus Appearance: Azure blue mane, cobalt blue coat and electric blue eyes. Cutie Mark: Symbol of a breeze. It's meaning is he can fly quite fast, but not as fast as Rainbow. Personality: He will chat to friendly ponies, but will refuse to answer questions about his past. He can sometimes become dejected and unwilling to speak. He can get paranoid that other Pegasi think he's weird. He gets worried if he deems a mare Pegasi has interest beyond friendship. Backstory: Rapid Wind used to fly around more and enjoy the sky, however after being accused of cheating after setting a fast lap time, Rapid tried to protest his innocence. This proved in vain as even his own Dad chose to believe the allegations against his son rather than his son. After this, Rapid's confidence nosedived and now he flies nowhere near as high or as fast if he flies at all. This explains his paranoid that other Pegasi will think he's weird as he trots around more often than he flies. Other:

Something tells me I shouldn't google that name. And it went well, in the sense that they figured out the issue. So two days of visits more to the dentist and 2 weeks of penicilin for infection to look forward to then. But hey, at least it doesn't hurt anymore. So I can get back to writing ^^

Which brings me to you. Hello. ^^

 

Looking over what you wrote it looks very good to me. Simple, but covers the bases, gives some quirks, a personality to think on, the works. Consider yourself accepted.

 

Now, I have two things to say from here, so I will start with the advice. Basically, try to google "The magnificent ponymaker Halloween edition" at some point and you can likely make a good, visual representation for your OC, that you can also use as your avatar. You can also use the general Pony creator on DeviantArt, but i find this one have some good, detailed options. Only part there isn't much to chose from really is the eyes and body shape, but there are still some, and if one of them catches ya fancy it works well. ^^

 

Second off, we need to find you some place to fit in and do things now. As you seem new in it, it might be kinda cruel to toss you into the last pieces of the bigger stories going on right now, so might I suggest we start off with a slow introduction to things? Just you and me for a bit, moving towards one of the other groups eventually. Potentially the ones in the forest as the town is a bit chaotic right now.

 

Now, your own opinion matters very much mate, so if you think you're in for handling going right in the flesh on it, we can work with that too, I just don't want you to feel overwhelmed or needing to read up on many pages of RP to figure out what is going on. Starting from a side and working towards something can help on that as you can then ask about things in character, and it can be a good icebreaker plus way of catching up if you prefer not to read too much.

 

If we go the slow route, I would suggest perhaps starting a bit away from Ponyville, or in another, nearby town, just so that it doesn't clash with what is going on in town and you have something to aim towards. I have an OC that isn't currently in Ponyville, but working his way towards there a little by little I can use called Happy Hour. (link to google doc with bios under my siggy) Might be somepony that can start off with chatting up Rapid Wind.

 

Anyway, these are just my thoughts on it. What's on your mind mate? I'm very interested in hearing what you think. ^^

Minor question someone might be able to answer. I got a notification yesterday that our thread had been accepted by one of the moderators, but it's been running for a year and a half so kinda confused on that. Does it mean that someone had reported it and it's cleared now? Kinda curious as if there is something about this instead of *Delayed acceptance* but haven't been able to find the answer to this anywhere yet.

I couldn't agree more with a slower start and I'm happy to RP with just one person and then perhaps expand and take it from there. I was thinking of my OC coming off the train and being introduced to Ponyville that way. Also, I wonder if you've got a Pegasi OC available?

Sigh, I realy did try once upon a time to do thread Rp's but it just demanded way to much attention. Plus I can't handle figuring out where or what the hell going on when there 30+ different storylines going on at once.  Love a small group kind of rp but those are rare here. and Private one o ones via pms'  hardly ever happened here.

Hmm... Yeah, I think I have... Yes. Stargazer is free, as one more that RP with him have left. Kinda cursed right now it seems. I can have him respond to things as you wander of the train, then we can take it from there.

 

You can use him as a entry level to things too. His daughter is currently looking for him in town, so eventually the lot of them could run into eachother. low key and stuff. I'll just... Save happy Hour for another time then I guess.

Okay, I'm presuming that means I can start. However, I do have a question and that's in regards to other RP's happening around Ponyville. I presume you ignore these RP's unless you're part of them or asked to join and then the decision to do so lies with you.

Not really, the decision in the end lies with you. I just suggest ignoring them for the time being so it's easier to melt into things, then take it as it goes along.

 

I might technically be the GM of this thread, but in the end the power is with the people, AKA you guys/gals.

 

Though it Is considered polite to ask before moving in on someone's RP, so if you get towards others, just ask them in a PM or here in the OOC if it's okay, just to be sure.

As for where you can be slotted in, you seem to have some posts under your belt, so the option to join one of the several groups we have going now are there, but if you want to avoid having a long rundown of thing I'd suggest that like with many of the others, you ease into posts a little from the side, then move towards one of the main events so that you can get to things without having to read 10 pages of stuff to get caught up, or having a long note about what have gone down. I Can make the note on things if you'd prefer it, and you can weigh your options, but I can't make it before I need to sleep, so if you want this, please inform me so and I can start working on PM'ing you the sauce of things when I have slept.

 

In this RP, we do not have strict rules that you need to have anything to do with the regular stuff either though, if it is you have your own idea for a fun side thing. I allow fun from many sides here, so if that's your fancy, you can lemme know that too. But hey, whatever floats your boat mate. Comes down to your wants in the end.
