Sunset/The Grinch? Well, I guess they both have redemption arcs...

 

My Sunny ships are Sunset/Twilight, Sunset/Sonata and Sunset/Fluttershy But yeah, Flash is the only stallion I see her shipped with a lot. (controversial opinion maybe but for some reason, I feel like a lot of folks ship that mainly to get Flash out of the way for Twilight :x lol, but of course there must be some that genuinely like them together and that's cool, whatever~)

I can't see it happening personally.

 

But, if Equestria Girls 3 ends her story arc in the human world, she might make a triumphant return to Equestria after that. In fact, based on predicted release dates, EG3 might be released before the season 5 finale. If we got an EG film where Sunset played the hero, and then a few weeks later she made a surprise return to Equestria in the season finale, then... I don't know what I'd do... maybe... you know the caption...

Well, I don't know that for sure, but...

 

Season 5 starts in Spring. It's 26 episodes long. At one episode per week, that's six months' worth of episodes, so the season would conclude some time in Autumn.

 

Equestria Girls 3 is going to be released in Autumn.

 

But if you take a look at the broadcast dates for previous seasons, you'll see they occasionally take little breaks of a week or two in the broadcast schedule. That might push the finale back to early winter.
