post-18984-0-79845300-1399345014.gif okay lets analize the question.. let me think... beacuse there are also assholes in the internet, i cant find more reasons, you see, most people that say "hang yoursel" "you are gay and virgin" is because they want to spread their own problems, i dont get why "gay" is an insult, there's nothing wrong being gay, but unfortunaltely the involution of the makind that insult us is gay, virgins, losers, with complex of suicide, patethic and are not gonna have the luck to meet a girl, they do not feel satisfied with their pathetic lives and then, they see the power and prosperity of our beloved fandom and they think (if they even have brain cells am sure the few ones are making a tour on their heads) "oh i see a group of happy people who loves inofensive ponies and have happy lifes, i feel something is missing... MY STUPID HATE COMMENTS!! because am a hardcore hater and am a evil badass and am a tough motherfucker even if my mom think am her honey bear i dont care am gonna troll bronies cuz i need to prove that am not a loser abortion failure even if is true".

you see my friend, dont pay attention to the true attention whore (A.K.A anti bronies) they are just trying to mess with us but they are not gonna make it cuz we are strong, those are gonna insult you and bully you but you know what? bronies are more in number thanks to them! in fact we owe them that the fandom is increasing, and they are so eggheads that they dont realize it. just pay attention to my words, dont take the shite of nobody, if someone is "trolling you" you extend your arms and tell them "this is the amount of fucks i give to your comment" good day

Haters dislike most bronies as haters think my little pony is for little girls

Secondly,most of them are trolls

Thirdly, they hate bronies because they let everyone on their social circle know they are one,and keeps shoving ponies down their throats(which most of us aren't guilty of that)

Fourth, they think all of us bronies clop to ponies, which is wrong since most bronies don't clop to ponies

So here's the possible reasons why haters hate us on the Internet

It's all social norms. Because everybody expects everybody to act like their age and gender, some people view adults who watch My Little Pony as inferior to them because they watch something that isn't intended for their age. I mean, why should I care about what TV shows I'm watching or what I'm doing is age or gender-appropriate when I can just be myself as long as it doesn't hurt anybody?

All my life needed was a sense of someplace to go. I don't believe that one should devote his life to morbid self-attention. I believe that someone should become a person like other people.

My two bits here :

Any fandom, I mean ANY fandom has it's detractors, people who solidly are against what the people in the fandom are doing and why. That's fine, free country, blah blah. Others, just crawl back under their rocks and giggle maniacally to themselves after getting responses from a trolling post.

Sci-Fi fandom in the early days, go back and take a look at that one, they were equated with a whole host of things, so it's not just particular to any fandom, folks dislike things and that's fine.

Any fandom goes through early stages:

1. Those who get totally obsessed, and seem to think their lives revolve around it. (Not hating, just sayin' )

2. Those who SEE those people and end up disliking the fandom because of it, or feeling as if it's not something innocent just wierd.

It's a vicious circle really, hating, true hating causes more folks to take up arms and defend the other side, which causes the dislikers to take up arms and defend their side.. see what I mean?

The best way to handle it, get off the train, ignore those posts completely anywhere, and maybe have a decent conversation with folks that might be taking it a bit far? I'm not sure, just throwing things out to see what sticks. B)

Mark Twain once said :

“In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."

This quote and feeling can be applied to ANY societal change. The forerunners of a fandom will always be first on the chopping block, MLP fandom is new, be brave, be yourselves, and keep doing what you're doing! Although maaaaaybe tone down painting the house pink cause you like Pinkie Pie..just sayin'

So I leave you with this:

“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.”
― Lao Tzu

And from me :

Any fandom, I mean ANY fandom has it's detractors

EXACTLY!!  People who play CoD, League, Minecraft, Halo, etc. are considered fatass no-lifes by haters.  Everyone who is above age 10 and still likes watching Disney movies are considered pedophiles by haters.  The reason the brony fandom receives so much hate is because it is probably the biggest fandom in the world.  Hater comments can be very depressing, but I like to think of them this way: Whoever the hater is is just a random guy with no life posting hate comments just for the hell of it.

But then again, there are "good" haters.

Good hater: "I have noticed MLP is very popular, but I don't understand why everyone is so hyped up about it.  In my opinion, it's just a show for little children that teaches them about friendship and morals, nothing outstanding.  Please forgive me if I am offending anyone, this is just my personal opinion and not necessarily everyone else's"

Bad hater: "MLP is the worst show ever.  It's for fricken losers and pedophiles.  Anyone who likes this show is an asshole.  Suck my middle finger, bronies!!"  (ouch)

See the difference?  The good hater gives reasons for his/her disliking while the bad hater just rages and insults.

What the question "Why is there so much hate towards bronies on the internet?" ultimately boils down to, is that the answer is pretty straightforward;

Some bronies out there couldn't shut their goddamn mouths about [insert said MLP obsession/turning it into a cult reason here], period!

The Thing About Bronys Which Confuses Me

Most people dont understand what a brony is until they know what show it comes from then they start to act evil, yes It hurts but I have to stay one a little bit more so I can be able to tell someone when they catch me watching an episode on my computer.

Most people say that the word " Clopping " is a normal word for bronys, but I dont even know what the fudge that is about, the only thing I would like to say it is something that very few bronys do.

I have been a brony for 15 months now and still watch the show secretly but everyone doesn't understand why there are bronys on the internet, there are even people older than me which are bronys and they still hate on them, Is it because of the trolls or is it because of the people which gives us " Bronys " a bad name.

I still act like a normal person in the real world they don't catch me saying stuff about mlp because I get a little too scared or shy to talk about that topic infront of other males and family members which can make something about bronys which are un-normal and they are they are human just like me and you, we are not aliens from out of space or something similar to that.

So the point I am trying to make is why do most bronys make it seem like it is not a good thing like me, I just get too shy and I have alot of trust issues in my lifetime.

The only thing that I wish that could happen in 2015 is that most people can act like bronys are normal in every way possible,

Maybe people are just inherently evil? Guilty until proven innocent I always say.

Would you like to play with me? I'd like to play with you, forever, and ever, and ever! No... no you can't have it! It's mine! Stay back!

people like to prey on those lower than them to gain a better position. its human nature. trolling and bullying is fun, admit it or not. and when people see a punching bag on the internet, they start hitting it without trying to understand it. its not even necessary that theyre losers irl. people do it forfu, and forget about it the next minute.

I am a clopper. I don't give a 'beep' about having a fantasy about cartoon ponies. PLUS I'm straight, and of course I would totally date fluttershy if she was real. Or just one of the Mane Six. Who gives a crap?

I actually have a life. I doubt that antibronies even go to school. I go to college like normal and talk to my immature ex girlfriend. in my opinion, clopping is a way to cope with a severe emotional illness that I have time to time. Sometimes life is cruel and I feel like sh*t. I believe having a Waifu is an emotional coping mechanism when I feel detached or lonely. How is it that an antibrony never understands anything?

I recently got into this fight in the comment section of a brony-made fan animation.  Here it is in a nutshell:

Me: A true work of art!!! This almost brought tears to my eyes.

Random person: I actually cried

Hater: Lol, you guys are such losers, crying over a lame youtube video

Random person: You heartless fool.  Keep your sad life out of our business

Me: Yeah, you fucking dipshit.  Trolling assholes like you aren't welcome here, so GTFO

Hater: Both of you are mean

Okay, lol.  As you can see in the last comment, the guy is like "Both of you are mean", LOL.  That's the kind of thing a 9-year-old would say, which speaks tons about who antibronies really are.

When we’re young, we’re taught by society that boys are supposed to enjoy masculine things only and vice versa. We are expected to follow such gender stereotypes throughout our lives without exceptions. Therefore, when someone encounters a man who likes My Little Pony, they may assume that there is something wrong with him and they might feel that he is a threat to their worldview of toxic masculinity. Their natural reaction is to attack them and attempt to get them to embrace traditional gender roles again.

Because the media thought older guys liking a girls show was ''not normal'' or ''weird'' at the time. I remember it was considered a joke back in the day. Now thankfully, the hate has been slowly dying down in recent years to some extent, but that stigma is still there unfortunately.
