Trojans like that can usually be removed if you remove them before booting the operating system at startup, I did it once to remove a trojan that locked my keyboard and mouse at the login screen.

Yeah I did say i wasn't sure what it was but it's gone but the disc that gave us the virus is still in the house....

For viruses, I would recommend getting Avast, and checking the computer for viruses once a week. I've had many viruses in the past and yet caused no issues.

i don't know if many people play just normal survival anymore...

 

most people are on servers or atl east if they play survival they usually have some time where they use creative (this may not be true but it may be true? idk)

 

i don't mean to offend anyone but still...

When I play survival, I don't switch. Cheating with creative mode makes the game less fulfilling. I like creative, but I won't switch between the two if I can avoid it.

This is about my reaction to creepers. I light the entire area around my base and build a 5 layer mob spawner with a hopper and chest collector. I rig it to auto kill anything that drops in.

I know how that feels. One time I had so many pieces of iron, some gold and sort and I wasn't really leaving my home for any of it because, at the time, I found this jungle building that randomly spawns in the jungle biome. I even had freaking EMERALDS because I found them in the chest. Well, mister creeper decided to spawn near my home. Kaboom! I can't find my emeralds.. :'(

I once lost about 40 levels and an assload of nether Quartz in an old map. I had to travel so far out to find an area I hadn't explored yet, just so I could get some. You know those floating gravel patches at the edges of the land mass in the nether? I was standing on one, and placed a block, the whole thing tumbled out from under me, and I landed in lava. I lost everything. Enchanted diamond pick and all.

 

My reaction here:

I calmly shut my computer and walked away. Stifling the urge to throw things. lol

Behold.. My fully functional quad cell Iron foundry. Complete with automatic silo storage. And in 100% survival mode, no less. :comeatus:

Minecraft is one of my favorite games. I was a noob when I got into it, but now i don 't like playing on anything lower than normal. Fighting the mobs adds fun and challenge to me.

The game was hard to figure out at first but now I Love it. But Ive also gotten Lucky by making my house inside a cave so i can mine safely.

I usually dig a temporary hole in the ground when I play survival. Once I've gotten my location chosen, I dig myself a safe spot, and got to town. Creative mode is also fun though, I've built some pretty crazy things before.

Here's a couple of my creative builds. The last one was based on a dream I had.

Yeah, well. I don't build stuff in creative mode. It's probably much easier in designing things and constructing them... but that's the point.

 

Takes away all the satisfaction.

 

 

 

 

This can currently be found on local MC survival server. I don't lately have enough time to construct anything else, but I'll try to get some more things constructed when I find a moment or two.

So, I've been working my butt off lately on my Minecraft server, done a bunch of farms at spawn, and thought I'd share a bit of what the spawn looks like, and some other things I've done as well

 

 

Now, some of my projects. I've been working on building a huge castle to my base, however it's not done yet. I've cleared up a huuge area (Gone through 4 Unbreaking 3 diamond pickaxes while removing the stone, and one Unbreaking 3 Diamond shovel), for the castle:

While I do agree it doesn't feel quite as satisfying, there's some things you can do in creative that would otherwise be impractical to bother with in survival mode. Like, for instance, building a giant rainbow dash out of diamond blocks, or a building completely made from iron blocks XD

On the other hoof as well, it's a great way to fiddle with redstone ideas before wasting resources on something.

So, for my birthday (march 16th) I'm probably getting a minecraft server... I want it, my mum thinks it's a good

idea for "responsibility" (pffffft, please.. xD ) So if I do, who would play.. What plugins/ ideas/ rules should I have... and would anybody want to be mod/ admin? So many questions, so little time ;-;

Currently building a city with Dawn Rider. This building will house the cutie marks of Celestia and Luna, and will be the centerpiece of the city. DawnRider built most of it, I've been working on the central columns. All survival btw.
